We recently had a very disappointing experience at the Grand Hyatt Seattle that I feel compelled to share. After a long day of travel, We arrived at the hotel at 11:05 PM expecting a smooth and efficient check-in process. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. Upon arrival, I was informed by the front desk team that their Property Management System (PMS) was down, which meant they couldn't check me into my room immediately. While I understand that technical issues can occur, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. We ended up waiting for a full hour in the lobby before we could finally access our room. During this time, there was no clear communication or effort to make the wait more bearable. To make matters worse, we decided to head to the bar to get a drink while I waited. According to the hotel’s information, the bar was supposed to be open until midnight. However, when I arrived at 11:42 PM, the bartender rudely informed me that they were closing, and we could not get a drink. This added to the frustration and made an already bad situation even worse as it seemed that the hotel was not upholding its own operating hours. The lack of service and consideration from both the front desk and bar staff was incredibly disappointing. There was no clear communication or updates during the wait, and the staff seemed indifferent to the inconvenience it was causing guests. It was clear they were not prepared to handle such a situation efficiently. By the time we made it to the room, it was past midnight. The check-out process was equally disappointing. There was no mention of the incident from the night before, no apology, or any effort to make amends for the inconvenience we experienced. The overall recovery process was mediocre, to say the least, leaving me with a sense of neglect and dissatisfaction. For a hotel that positions itself as a high-end establishment, this level of service is simply not acceptable, I expected much more from the Grand Hyatt Seattle and am deeply dissatisfied with my experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both their systems and their customer service.

I stayed in Seattle for four nights, and it wasn't for tourism purposes. The accommodation was clean, and all the staff were friendly. The valet service included a daily parking fee of $68. I initially didn't know and tried to use public parking, but the owner of the mart on the first floor, who is Korean, kindly informed me. There is a sushi restaurant, Starbucks, and a small mart on the first floor. The first Starbucks store is about a 10-15 minute walk, and there are Zara and Uniqlo department stores along the way. It smells a bit when passing the subway station, and the Starbucks Reserve store is also about a 10-minute walk away. The location is really great! The reason I am writing this extensively is that there isn't much information about Seattle, so I wanted to write it down for anyone who might be curious. It was really nice! I hope you have a great trip and create many happy memories!
