Great hotel Great Location”
Rooms are not very spacious but ok. The room service was great. It is exactly at DOWNTOWN DC. walking distance to Chinatown. The hotel might want to consider having a kettle in the room / upon request for guests who have infant with them it will be easier rather than ordering hot water from room service

Awsome stay”
We stayed as a couple for four nights and had an awsome stay. The staff are wonderful - helpful and very courteous. The breakfast buffet is a treat. The location is so central close to the National Mall and everything else. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Only disappointment.....”
The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable, the view of the courtyard was fun. It was nice to have a Starbucks in the lobby and the gift shops provided enough for a casual sightseer. The location was terrific to all the government sights and the restaurant was very adequate. However, the “pool” was closed a year ago even though it showed up as an amenity on the website I used to book the room.

Destination fees”
You will be charged a $23.00 per day fee for amenities we did not use except four bottles of water. We were even charged the day we left by noon time. Caution, to receive the $10.00 meal credit you MUST charge to room or they will not honor it. I paid cash twice and was not given the $20. 00 credit! I was never told it a $10.00 meal credit PER DAY or I would have charged all three of my hotel meals!! These fees are ridiculous and should I visit again will look for a hotel that does not charge you for amenities you do not utilize! Also check your invoice before checking out because they tried to charge me a laundry fee which was not mine.

Excellent”
The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful! However, the rooms were average and the room i stayed in, the bathroom door needed to be repainted. Also, the room didn't have a microwave for me to warm up my food.

Very Nice Hotel Great location”
Everything was good except I was a bit shocked at the Resort fee required and the $20 per day for water and other items which where discounts that we did not use...why not just charge and extra $20 in the price and provide water and other discounts that most other hotels provide included. As an Australian with the dollar as it is we paid $32 AUS extra per day for what?

Worst customer service l ever had.”
Grandness of the hotel. I stayed in the hotel for four nights. The fridge in the room was not in working order, no microwave, and l requested for these two items. Two days after my arrival with my daughter, left the hotel to visit her college campus/sight seeing. When l returned to my hotel room it was not clean (bedsheets not changed, trash not taken out, and bathroom towels not refilled/used towels on the floor where l left them at. Upon returning to my room, for two hours l called housekeeping repeatedly to get someone to come clean my room, but l was ignored. I heard the housekeeping chart moving outside my door. I opened my door, thinking finally someone is here to help me. To my surprise, the cleaning lady when l asked her, if she was there to clean my room. Replied, "let me check if your room is on my list." Then she looked and s, "your room is not on my list so call them again" and she left. At this point, l grabbed my bag and went downstairs to speak to someone in management.

It was an excellent experience. The front desk was exceedingly helpful and friendly. ”
The accommodations and service were both outstanding. The front desk person who assisted us (Rachel) was very friendly and helpful and made our experience very enjoyable. The bistro’s breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend the Grand Hyatt in (Wash DC)and going forward, I will look to stay there on business and personal trips.

Good place”
Overall, this hotel was good to stay several days. It was quiet and can take a rest without disturbance. However, there was no body wash, just soap and I could smell some funky from blanket on the bed. But, location was really great! I will revisit this place if I go Washington DC again in future.

Excellent location”
The hotel is directly accessible via the Metro and located just a block away from Metro Center Metro Station. It is also within 10 - 20 minutes walk to the National Mall and Chinatown. The room, which I stayed in, was clean. I ordered a lasagna and cheese cake through room serve and they were delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked that they provided drinking water from a dispenser at the lobby. Although the room had a coffee maker, I wished they provided a kettle in the room to boil water for non-coffee beverages. The lifts were a little slow and the lobby was under construction when I was there. I would certainly stay in the hotel if I visited again.

Great hotel”
Stayed here for 2 nights. Arrived around 6pm. Checked in and out was fast. Excellent service. Room is big enough. Complete amenities. They have umbrella, toothbrush and etc. There’s a Starbucks at the lobby of the hotel. Definitely will recommend the hotel to everyone.
