    Excellent staff”

    The staff really goes out their way to make you feel welcome . The breakfast was great ( given the general area in which you will find mostly Indonesian food and not the healthiest) . This breakfast had a wide variety and the staff members are excellent and so friendly. The pool is large and good. The location is good , the gym ok. The only issue I had on some nights was a sound from some sort of electrical unit that came on in the middle of the night ( it was present in the corridor / staircase and the rooms) . I put my air-con on this helped reduce the presence of the noise. So if you are on the 8th floor I would suggest to leave the aircon on at night even if just for the white noise .

    Overall it’s a great experience with Grand Mecure”

    The hospitality is great, rooms, sheets, bathroom are clean. When we first checked in, the room AC wasn’t working, hence it’s rather warm. It’s was resolved quickly by the reception. Gotten another room. Staff are helpful and are always ready to greet you with a smile. Great hospitality service. Location wise, is a little away from Malioboro. But getting transport there is not an issue, Grab is everywhere. Manage to secure rides within minutes . Hotel do provide free shuttle at scheduled time. Overall great experience with Grand Mecure and at Yogyakarta.

    2 nights in a row that the towels are out of stock!”

    I left the hotel in the morning and got back around 4-ish pm. Yes they have cleaned the room, but, they put NO TOWEL (in any size) in the bathroom. This happened for 2 days in a row. They said that they were out of stock! What kind of 5 star hotel is this?

    Comfy Mattress, Great Location”

    Matress is comfy. Smells nice. Location is near where I wanted to visit during my visit to Jogja. And I got great discounted rate that made my friends who stayed at the same hotel envy.

    staying (nor for the first time) at Grand Mercure Yogja, was good again. Clean rooms, nice access. Being alone and having a drink in he hotel bar was enjoyable, not in the least thanks to it's Manager Priskila and Miss Meike from Guest Relations, that did me the honour of drinking a glass with me. However I eat for the first time "a la carte" from the reataurant and that is definitely NOT recommandable. Avoid this.

    Awesome hotel with a great location ”

    (+) staff were super friendly. Especially those who served in restaurant for buffet breakfast (+) the room is sooo nicely decorated (+) the pool water were in perfect temperature (not so cold) (+) the hotel location is just perfect! Near the lippo mall and surrounded by local restaurant (+) the breakfast buffet food was delicious (-) the parking lot is very limited and the parking lot is sharing with Ibis hotel (-) the room wall was sooo thin. We stayed in 6th floor and the noise from meeting room was heard to our room (-) we took deluxe room and the room has blocked view. The room were compensate with a small balcony but the view is straight to wall. So basically you cannot see any view and make the room lack of lights (dark) (-) the swimming pool share with Ibis hotel

    A good Hotel with a very friendly staff and a good service. Has everything you need and expect in a hotel like this. The road situation a little bit complicated and little far from center but great swimming pool and relaxing place. Nice rooms, good design.

    Disappointed stay in Grand Mercure Yogyakarta ”

    The hotel is strategically located in downtown with ample of facilities. welcome drinks and food are good. Special decoration to the room is offered as well. However we were very disappointed with the request to put the ice box in deep freezer where our ice pack never get frozen even overnight. we have communicated to the staff but it still happened same situation where the ice pack not forzen even put in the freezer. Disappointed service rendered, not sure staff understand our request correctly. We hope management can look into this feedback seriously and we will think twice before staying next time.

    First time for me to stay in this hotel. Situated on Jalan Adisucipto which is one of the main road at the city centre. Standing next to Lippo Plaza Jogja and Siloam hospital. Check in is fast and very good. Need to improve at breakfast

    4.5 stars hotel with 2 stars quality”

    I was stay at Premium Deluxe room but I found so many dirty things inside the room. Then I sent an email with lot of evidence to the management. The manager mrs Dwi coming to check my room, she offered me the housekeeping make up the room but i was so tired and need a rest plus privacy. So I declined her offer. And she couldnt do anything anymore. In my point of view, maybe she could give another clean room that ready for incoming guest. And starting to makeup my previous room. The dirty things is fatal. Such as tea residue on the cup, dirty drinking pad, moldy kettle, rubbish on the floor, the room didn’t vacuumed, stain on the linen, dirty toilet bowls, soap scums on the bathtub, dirty drinking glass, hairfall everywhere, etc. My room is Premier Room, one class below suite room. But the dirty things is similar like an standard room in a 2 star hotel. I really disappointed and woulnd’t come again to stay at this property. If you already book this hotel please double check, maybe your room looks clean but actually it still dirty. And nothing comes up from the management to make it better.

    I booked this hotel as a gift for my friend who just got merried. Ms. Dwi from Mercure Yogyakarta reservation staff was helping me to assist a little surpraise room decoration for my friend. She was very helpful and responsive. My friend was very happy during her stay at Mercure Yogyakarta. She mention that she had a great experience and memorable stay at Mercure Yogyakarta.
