Good hotel but wi-fi below par
It's a nice hotel, but next time I will consider another place. The wi-fi in tower 3 was really bad,not just once, but constantly. Access point constantly switching on and off. Because of the way the access is arranged you have to manually login to another access point after one switches off, which is really annoying and sometimes not possible because you sleep. If you need reliable wi-fi, avoid the rooms in tower three.

Much better compared to Royal president
2 choose 1 between President group hotels, I would pick this hotel for its comfort and facilities

Good value for money
The Grand President Hotel is well located on Soi 11 off Sukumvit RD in Bangkok. It has 3 towers. This is far from luxury but the rate for a standard at U$40 is fine. The room was large enough, everything seemed to work. The safe was actually larger than usual which was nice for a change. No much to report. Comfortable bed and affordable rate in a good location. It is away from the most seedy area in Bangkok. The breakfast downstairs at the German House was great. There is a direct access from tower 3 which is located across the road from the main building.

Overall stay was good
Standard room that I booked was a bit smelly. I informed the staff and they upgraded the room and changed my room. Overall the staff were helpful and service was good. Internet speed was not good.

Worst Hotel
This is the worst hotel, buffet breakfast so awful, more of Indian food, the staff assign in a buffet area are so rude, the person who assign in egg station, can't even cook properly the sunny side up egg, serve as burn at the bottom, if you ask for omelet it would more worst so dry and burn,The room are old, the bathroom so smelly, they don't even provide a toothpaste and toothbrush, This is the worst hotel I've booked in Agoda..
