I am impressed by the staff's sincere hospitality that is not overly polite. Despite various demands regardless of race, their attentive service deserves respect. I also feel nostalgic as the meeting place from my date with my late husband half a century ago is still there. Since I currently live abroad, I am even more aware of the wonderfulness of the hotel's staff. It is a hotel that remains unchanged, or rather, is becoming even more wonderful!
The hotel had a sense of luxury and the garden was magnificent. The interior was clean, and even though I stayed for multiple nights, the cleaning was thorough. The breakfast was included, and the variety of menu options was abundant, with different dishes added on both days, which was very satisfying. The Prince Hotel curry was delicious. I would like to stay again.
I stayed with my children. Although there is no kids' room, it seems they enjoyed exploring the garden. The little children especially flocked to the koi in the pond, haha. It's very enjoyable as a parent when they can play like this for a little while. I was also impressed by the service. I checked to see if there were any toys or coloring books for the kids to play with, but unfortunately, there weren't (I recommend bringing your own). However, we were given cookies. I was impressed that they seem to be trained to never give a zero response even if they can't meet the request. It was 50,000 yen per night per person, but I was very satisfied as I wanted to minimize any stress regarding service. We travel occasionally, but this was the first time my child said, "The hotel was fun!" about our stay. Also, the children's amenity slippers are super cute! 🤍
It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Shiwagana Station. At first, I didn't know, so I walked down the hill along the main road. After staying for 4 nights and 5 days and exploring every corner of the hotel, I found out that when you come out of the hotel garden, there is a charming teppanyaki restaurant to the left of the garden, and right in front of it, there are shortcut stairs leading to the station that connect directly to the main road (I’m leaving this because I didn't find this part in any review). The hotel restaurant offers good quality food at reasonable prices. Even without looking for restaurants outside, the atmosphere is nice and the food is excellent.

“Recommended accommodations near Shinagawa Station.”
Although it is a bit far from the station, it is quiet and not crowded. The garden in front of the hotel is very nice, and the rooms are spacious and good. The Japanese-style curry served for breakfast was very delicious. The staff is also polite and friendly. I recommend it for those who want to relax quietly.
