Bad hotel”
The hotel is the worst experience, the location is crowded, there is no maintenance, the toilets are not properly maintained, the pool water is muddy and the pool purifiers are out of order. The air conditioning was broken during the night and I requested maintenance, they did not come the next day and did not fix, the reservation was for two adults and two children and they were booked on the website and the email confirmed and they asked me to pay the children again. The breakfast is poor the food is poor pink I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

A Wonderful Stay!!! ”
We had booked another hotel and were told it was a four star, when indeed it was less than 1 star. We got online and booked The Grand Pyramids Hotel at the last minute. When we arrived we knew we had made the right decision. My hubby and I plus three children, simply loved this little paradise....everything was clean, multiple restaurants, we could eat poolside. We even had a view of two of The Pyramids and the pool from our balcony! Breakfast was served in a restaurant just off from the pool. I enjoyed the breakfast.We also enjoyed the DJ and live performer at the pool. We were so relaxed. Great hotel for a great price. I could go on and on & I wish we could have stayed longer.

Pleasant hotel away from the city centre”
Situated in Giza, 40 min walk to the pyramids. Hotel is pleasant on the inside. Street outside is very dusty due to construction. Restaurants are about 15 minutes walk away. No complimentary bottled water or tea/coffee making facilities. We were on the ground floor for 2 nights and there was no hot water. We arrived at 07h30 and the staff graciously arranged for a room by 09h00, although check in time was 14h00. Good breakfast with a wide variety of foods.

An oasis in Giza”
Our stay at the Grand Pyramids Hotel has been lovely so far. We are enjoying relaxing by the pool so much that we have booked extra nights. The staff are wonderful, the food is good and the prices at the restaurant are resonable. We enjoy going down for a coffee and shisha after dinner quite a bit. Only downside is that it is a little away from everything. There is a taxi service but it is quite expensive, although the driver that we've had has been excellent. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, I have never seen such a selection of pastries in the morning.

Breakfast was ok. our room was giza pyramid view.only 5 minutes to giza pyramid from our hotel by taxi.Across the street good sea food restaurant but little expensive.Also kebab restaurant one block away.Swimming pool is good.Bargain with taxi driver.Will sure stay same hotel next time.

Enjoyed my stay and the freindly help from the staff who walked me to the shops to get water and drinks. The staff organised a tour/taxi person to take me where I wanted to go being the pyramids/spinx in Giza and the Egyptian museum, Cario, and other markets on the day

Close to local lifestyle”
This was a return visit for us, we love staying at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are a decent size and always clean. It is located in an area of Giza away from the Tourists, so when you walk out of the gates, you feel like one of the locals. That is a great attraction for us. There is a coffee shop around the corner, with the friendliest locals who will do anything for you. We hope to come back and would stay here again.

Lovely hotel close to pyramids”
we were given a room on the third floor which was spacious, comfortable and had an inviting balcony. this time we had the luxury of hot water which we did not on our previous stay a few days ago. the hotel is lovely, but the area outside the hotel is dusty. however, one needs to walk around the area to choose from the numerous restaurants and to browse around the shopping malls. the pyramids are a 40 minute walk away.

this is a nice hotel 30 minutes walking from the Giza Pyramids, 5 minutes walking from a shopping mall - quite good breakfast buffet - nice structure and garden - right in front of the hotel there is a very traffic highway - better to ask for pyramids/garden view rooms - to reach Cairo downtown it takes ar. 30 minutes by taxi, ar. 50 local pounds (ar. 6,5 euro) - consider that Giza is much less traffic-noisy than Cairo downtown

Great hotel safe hotel”
I had some reservations about going to Eqypt but I must say this was one the greatest experiences of my life. It was completely safe and staff was very friendly. You can see the Pyramids from room and the night pool decorations is excellent. I would definetly want to stay here again and visit Egypt. If you want to go on a tour, ask for "Fariq" great young guy that will look out for your best interest.

In all I think this hotel is very good vlue for money. shame about the frreway and dug up road outside. The staff were lovely and very helpfull and friendly. the room was clean and nice and the swimming area was lovely like a nice tranquil oasis in the heart of giza. I am very disapointed that a gym was advertised but not available.

Fabulous service in a very nice hotel!”
i was in egypt for about three weeks, and this hotel was one of the two best i stayed in...got a good rest,an amazing steam bath and massage, and the room was more like a suite than a hotel room: large bed, two chairs, table, desk, fridge, giant closet, balcony and chairs, etc. the service was also excellent and cheerful, and so much better than in other hotels, esp. in cairo. there is a 12% service fee, so no tipping...which is also a wonder in cairo where it seems every one has a hand out.

we stay for 2 nights in this hotel. the hotel is beyond our expectation. it really is value for money. the hotel rate is very cheap inomparison with other hotel for similar class. the check-in and check-out is very smooth. since i book through agoda, i do not have to wait for long for the process - it is all hassle free. am very satisfied with everything from services given, friendliness of the staff, the hotel itself with very big swimming pool and big lobby. internet is free at the lobby .

the hotel is nice enough and very close to the pyramids. the food was nice and the restaurant staff were very attentive. we found the rest of the service to be ok, although very slow when there was a problem. the taxi service was good, we paid a fee to have our own driver all day and loved it!

Only 15 minutes from Giza pyramids ”
if you only have a few days in cairo, this is a great location since the giza pyramids are only 15 minutes away so you don't have to waste too much time in traffic getting there. there are 3 restaurants you can choose from for a meal but dont expect friendly service.
