Known as one of the best hotels in town, Grand Sihanouk Ville Hotel is just a short distance away from the white sandy beaches at Ochheuteal. Guests can rest in the comfortable rooms which are fully equipped, spacious, and feature a private balcony. You should swim in the natural, chlorine-free swimming pool, unwind in private Jacuzzi, or indulge in mouthwatering dishes at the poolside restaurant and bar. Grand Sihanouk Ville Hotel is in a quiet location which is surrounded with beautiful views and provides easy access to a lot of places around.

Travel with children”
Late Check in the evening, couldn't believe No Restaurant/Mini Bar inside the hotel. $70/night without any facility except Swimming Pool, money NOT WORTH it. Room -> Old, Dirty, No sound Prove.... A very disappointed with this hotel
This is a tricky one nothing really wrong with Hotel except that it stands in the middle of the biggest building site I have ever seen. 24/7 demolition and construction as far as the eye can see. Wore a face mask all day. nowhere except beach to go and nothing to see unless you want to see the Chinese building 200 Casino's Hotels and Restaurants. Everything I loved about Sihanoukville is a hole in the ground. Street and roads are all dug up it is like an apocolipytic wasteland . Check if you are going. This Hotel Clean as could be considering the dust clouds. Staff friendly and helpful. good pool. close to beach. No bar , No Restaurant in service . Fridge at reception for drinks and pot noodle or crisps a bit on the expensive. I believe this Hotel is on borrowed time and will soon bite the dust the same as every Western or Cambodian Bar,beach bar, restaurant, mini mart ,laundry, everything. Do your Homework before travelling. I think Agoda shafted me on this one
In the middle of construction area”
Hotel locates between two huge hotel/casino construction complex. Very noisy generators thunder from 5 am until 11 pm. Dust and dirty air drifting everywhere. The whole Shianokville area is the same. Chinese construction projects everywhere. Not recommend to travel there at all. Awoid if possible. Jukka 🇫🇮
You travel through a building site to get to the hotel.”
The first room we had reeked of sewage which was surprising considering the how well appointed and clean the hotel was and the efficiency of the staff. However we got another room overlooking the swimming pool which was excellent. The hotel does not provide food and you have to walk across a building site to the beach to get breakfast about 15 minutes. In fairness that is not the fault of the hotel but I would avoid Sihanoukville unti all the building projects are completed. It appears that hotels and casinos will dominate the town with Chinese owned or run beach venues and facilities. Personally I would only stay there en route to the islands and then leave promptly after enjoying a stay on the islands.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your trip here in Cambodia! Sincerely, OyvindM (owner)
Don’t bother ”
If you want a run down smoke smelling room close to construction sites then this is the place for you. Oh, if you like your sleep disturbed by Mandarin speaking gambling addicts coming home in the wee hours definitely stay here.

A big no no”
I strongly don’t recommend this hotel, most of the reviews are old. I found it very old, very essential and with no facilities at all. Totally not worth it the price they make you pay for. The swimming pool is the only good thing and the staff is also nice but the hotel itself it is not. Also, the area is crazy, totally under construction and they are working 24/7.
Dear Annalisa, Thank you for staying at our Hotel, and for taking your time to rate us with a small feedback. Thank you extra much for the complements about our big and nice pool! We apologies if our Hotel and your stay did not meet your expectations. We use all feedback's like this to improve our service, operation and facilities. We apologies if you was disturbed by any noise from the constructions work that is happening everywhere in this city these days. We hope you enjoy the rest of your trip here in Cambodia! Sincerely, OyvindM (owner)
The linen on the bed has mould on them. The shower is over the toilet. The restaurant is closed. The whole place is a construction site. There is sewage water running across the road. Expensive hotel for not much. I'd prob say $20 a night would be ok. But I'd never stay there again
Dear Mark, Thank you for staying at our Hotel, and for taking your time to rate us with a small review after your stay. Updated and soon (maybe) forgotten ”
I dare to say that it was once a good hotel. Now it is surrounded by Chinese money and their casinos, hotels and restaurants. This hotel still offers something but I would say for short stays. Feels updated, forgotten and expensive for what you get. Maybe it is during Chinese holidays, but the overall appearance of the city and this hotel is not worth the hassle of booking vacations in sihanoukville. Most of the things in the room won't work... - telephones. - TV - Sinks. Beds are hard and springs will poke. Pillows are as hard as the floor. AC is noisy all day long. Constructions going on right across the street, street that appeared to be swallowed by the earth. Staff is nice tho, apart from the front desk staff. If you could avoid this hotel... Do so. If you could avoid staying in sihanoukville... Do so
Dear Ivan, Thank you for staying at our Hotel, and for taking your time to rate us wit ha long review. We apologies for all the changes that is happening in the city these days, and that our Hotel did not meet your expectations. We use all feedback's like this to improve our operation, service and facilities. We hope you enjoy the rest of your trip here in Cambodia! Sincerely, OyvindM (owner)
The Grand Waterfront is a good value primarily for its prime location, in a neighborhood full of cafes, restaurants and bars, and within easy walking distance to the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom. I had a room with a balcony, which afforded a view of the Mekong, and it was a pleasant, sunny spot from which to survey the leafy street below while having a cup of morning tea. The hotel is very close to several girlie bars, which results in a certain amount of very colorful traffic through the hotel at times, so travelers should be aware of this. One other thing to be aware of is that the walls, at least on the on the fifth floor, are paper thin and you may hear every sound your neighbor makes. The staff were always extremely helpful and courteous. The food at the hotel restaurant was ok, although the rooftop pool is little more than a plunge pool, good for cooling off on a hot day but not for swimming. The one negative remark I have is that , although I received written confirmation I would have an airport pickup, the hotel didn’t follow through on this. Overall a good value and I’d stay here again.
Dear Sam Thank you for your review. It looks like you have given wrong review to wrong Hotel. We are located in Sihanoukville, since Royal Palaca and Wat Phnom is located in Phnom Penh. But, you are welcome to our Hotel in the future. Best Regards Line, Manager
good location and quiet”
The hotel is a walking distance to the beach and have a clean swimming pool. Very near to restaurants and there is always a tuk tuk waiting outside for you to go anywhere if you don't want to walk. They have a good indian food nearby called taj mahal which is very tasty.
Dear Md. Thank you for staying at our Hotel, and for taking your time to rate us with a small review. Thank you very much for the complements about our locations and clean swimming pool. We hope to see you here again in the future! Sincerely, OyvindM (owner)
stayed many times, always good service .although rooms looking a little old. but still clean, seem to be cutting down on toiletries, and onpy 2 sachets of coffee and sugar no coffeemate or milk or tea. but lately most hotels seem to be cost cutting. i have noticed this recently as i travel a lot. still like hotel though.
Nice cosy accommodation”
Only defect: no sea view and sea beach is little away. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very good breakfast ( buffet) with different choices. Ideal place for relaxation. Tasty food in dinner/lunch. Very friendly staff
Very good value”
The Grand is my first preference when I travel to Sihanoukville due to the price and location. There rooms do need a bit of modernisation in some cases but overall I have few prolems. The staff from the reception to the cleaners are always helful and go out of their way to make the stay as good as possible. Combine this with the proximity to the main area which is a walk away or a tuk tuk to the city, tours are available, a good and clean swimming pool and very good food is available at the restaraunt at reasonable prices. All in all maybe not the cheapest depending on time of travel but certainly a lot better than most.
The Grand Sihanok Ville Hotel is fairly small, but has a nice-sized swimming pool. The restaurant is quite good, though the menu is a bit limited. However, you are within a few minutes walk of many outdoor restaurants serving barbecue, sea food, Khmer food, and pizza. Ochheuteal Beach is less than ten minutes walk and it is near the southern end of the beach side restaurants, so you can walk a few minutes and find deserted stretches of white sand beach. A building was being built next to the hotel so there was construction noise starting at about 8 am.
It's a nice hotel”
Value for money. Very loud construction work as they work to expend the hotel will wake you up in the morning. Nice clean rooms but no elevator. 10 min walk to Serendipity beach. Nice swimming pool. Mediocre breakfast.
The location allows for an easy walk to either the beach or into the town itself which was a bonus. If it's raining then there were always tuk tuks available to give you a lift. The staff were great and no question seemed to hard from local tours to transport around locally and further afield. Food was also good as was the selection which seemed to cater for most tastes. While there were some areas that need some maintenance I stayed there during the low season and those works were underway but my overall opinion was that it was great value and made even better by the staff who couldn't do enough to make both my stays worthwhile. The
Excellent value and breakfast”
Lovely rooms, although the showers could be better, with balconies overlooking the pool. These are well furnished with a smart chair and table. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb for a small hotel. Home made yoghurt a good range of fruit and local dishes. The mash potato mixed with pumpkin was only served once which was a great shame as it was superb.
comfotable place near the beach”
This is a new hotel that was made relatively cheaply but with all the amenities to make a stay comfortable. Staff were friendly, pool was good for swimming and had a seperate kids section. Breakfast was a buffet which changed every day and had eggs/ omelets to order
Excellent accommodation in all respects”
We have been travelling in Asia for two months now and this would be in the top five. The facility is excellent, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the breakfast has lots of variety. Excellent value only a short walk from the beach and resturants
This is a nice little hotel in a fairly good location. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff efficient. There are some good restaurants within easy walking distance and the area is not noisy at all for sleeping. I would book again for sure.
