THEY ARE GETTING RID OF MY SPECIAL PLACE”
I WAS TOLD THIS WEEKEND THAT THE GRAND STUDIOS KIAMA ARE BEING TORN DOWN TODAY ! WHAT A SHAME I JUST HOPE THAT KIAMA DOES NOT TURN INTO SYDNEY. VERY UNHAPPY AS WE WANT TO MOVE TO KIAMA IN 5 YRS TIME.

Great stay”
I booked this apartment last minute for a couple of nights. Great central location, very clean with good facilities, and very quiet even though it is next to the pub. The walls are thin so I was woken up by next door plugging something into the wall! But other than that it was much cheaper than the other accommodation in Kiama and I thought it was really good value for money.

Overnight Kiama Stay”
Very good for a studio apartment. Great location, friendly staff and quiet. I had to park about 50 metres away due to the popularity of Kiama. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and relaxing”
You check in at the hotel next door and the staff member was friendly and efficient. The studio is quite large and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need and there is a huge fridge. You need to enter a security gate to access the studios so very safe

Good location but bring your earplugs!”
The shower was a bit dirty and we realised later on that the walls are paper thin as I could hear next door's conversation almost word for word. Considering how much other accomodation costs in Kiama you get what you pay for. Great location, easy to check-in and cheap compared to everything else. Remember your earplugs! The room is nice and modern though with a well stocked kitchenette and plenty of space.

Studio 2”
Studio 2 was musty and mouldy smelling and we could not get the smell out. Despite furniture and furnishing all being quite new and modern the room was cold and unfriendly.

Good budget hotel”
This place is a little dated, but it has everything you need, great location, clean and quiet. If you're the type to spend most of your holiday away from your room, this place is ok to settle for the night if you don't need 5 star luxury. It has cooking and laundry facilities, and the rooms are huge. There is a bar and restaurant right there and you can walk to main street and blow hole. Our only complaints: the lounge suite, which was extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing as it sags in the middle. The TV reception also kept cutting out. One other thing, please supply a tea-towel and cloth to wipe benches if you are staying more than one night and want to tidy up.

Enormous clean room”
You have to check in at the pub next door. That took some figuring out. After that, we found the room size enormous with separate bathroom and kitchenette with full set of crockery, cutlery, appliances, tea, coffee etc. Effectively this is a serviced apartment rather than a hotel room.

It's okay if you're only staying 1 night”
I wouldn't recommend staying more than 1 night. It's definitely not worth the amount of money for the quality. We stayed in Studio 1... It smelt so bad... There's no windows in there to let in some air. The room just smelt stale and musty, and they have a really strong air freshener in there to cover up the smell, but that just made it worse. My clothes still smelt of the room when we came home. The new towels had stains on them, the pillows were like rocks and were very high, and hurt my neck - I couldn't actually sleep on it. The staff in the pub where you check in weren't very friendly either. All in all, my experience wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. Thankfully we only had to stay one night, i wouldn't have stayed there any longer.

Pretty bad”
There was no wifi provision in the studios. Also the pillows and blankets smelt bad such that we had to replace them with towels.. The sink in the toilet was blocked and overall the place was uncleaned.. However, the location was very good for those without cars. As it was proximate to the attraction points and restaurants.

Exceptional”
Had the quietest room from the end but could hear the loud music from the pub it stopped at midnight. Could hear the partrons and softer music after midnight until they went home early hours in the morning. My husband slept through it all as he was very tired and a heavy sleeper.

Very helpful staff and good size studio with ”
We arrived at very late of the night and was bit drama about my booking. The staff is so nice to help out. Easy to find location and room size is fairly big and well facilitated with stove and oven. Will definitely go there again.

Loved it very modern clean and relaxed a short walk to beaches restaurants and every thing else. needed to attend a wedding short walk down Rd to reception place. very well priced.

rooms were way better than what i expected but they said check in time was at 3pm but it wasnt ready when we got there at around 3:10pm so had to wait around 20 more mins but other than that, room was super awesome overall, will def come back.

Nice but stuffy”
Whilst the room was nice the lack of ventilation was stifling - none of the windows opened the only ventilation could be got by opening the door. Especially as the bathroom had been cleaned with bleach and the fumey smell hung around for hours. The room and bathroom were clean and the facilities were good. Could also benefit from providing a doona as only sheets were provided with cheap blankets available in the cupboard.Staff were really nice and accommodating and its a great location close to the town. However for anyone looking for an early night on the weekend the pub noise would be enough to disturb.

1st room they put me in the tv did not work, room smelt musty and oncr they moved me the next room was a little better. I would not stay there again even if it was half the price

We stayed for one night and it was great. I do agree with some of the other reviews about a damp smell, but it was bearable. Good value for money.

Great stay for 1 night for a friends wedding ”
Clean, comfortable, and very friendly ladies at the bar who checked us in. Basic but suited us fine for a nights stay while we were in town for a wedding. Would definitely stay again.
