Loved my stay here! Staff are SO amazing, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious (and huge). Room is very nice and clean, bathroom much cleaner than most other guest houses, and the water is SO hot :) View from balcony deck is stunning, plus quiet at night and feels safe/secure. Location is highly convenient, a minute's walk from the center of town and about 30 seconds from the bus to the Lipton tea factory (as well as the main bus station). Less than 5 minutes from train station.

An excellent guest house. i was a bit worried when we arrived because their main entrance/lobby looked a bit like a cheap guest house. I even asked to see the rooms before actually checking in. However, the rooms and toilets were very clean, shower was powerful and very hot. It is also close to the train station and is on the way to Lipton's Seat. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night in a Deluxe Double Room. It was basic but had everything we needed - fan, mosquito net. The bathroom was very clean and the hot water worked well in the evening however did not work in the morning, not a big deal though. One thing we would have appreciated is a top-sheet between the bed and the blanket as I would assume the thick blankets are not washed after each guest. The power went off in the night which made the room very hot and resulted in a bit of an uncomfortable sleep but for only one night it was ok. The bed itself was actually one of the most comfortable I have had in Sri Lanka. The wifi was great, very strong (we were in 101). Our driver mentioned that restaurants in the area can charge you extra just because you are a tourist so advised we eat at the hotel. The dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced - breakfast was delicious also. As other reviewers have noted the hotel is literally opposite the mosque speaker. Would recommend!

Nice, clean basic accommodation with a great view from the shared balcony”
The beds here were really comfy. The bathroom was relatively new, with nice hot water in the shower even if it was mounted at about 4.5 foot high! Happy to have mosquito nets provided over the beds too. Power sockets in our room were just in one place by the door and not by the beds but that’s minor. This place was just a few minutes walk from the train station. Would recommend this place but if you are a light sleeper the amplified speech from the mosque around 5.30am may be a consideration. Our room was right outside the mosque and we could hear it very clearly. If you’re in Haputale we would definitely recommend taking a tuk tuk or taxi to Liptons seat ~600 rupees and walking back down to the tea factory through the villages and tea plantations. This was lovely and definitely one of our highlights. Go early (straight after breakfast) before the clouds come over. We got a tuk tuk back again although you could walk if you want a long day / don’t mind walking on the road.

Good stay”
We enjoyed our stay here and staff are very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, location was centeral and breakfast was good and filling. We stayed here two nights and the WiFi didn't work (was connected but couldn't load anything) and also no hot water in the evenings - seems to run out. Also to note was that we booked room with balcony but it seems all rooms have balcony as its one big shared one. This probably is noted somewhere we were just expecting a private one. Overall a good stay.

Great location right next to train station and near restaurants and shops. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Nice big room, however, my friend has a skin condition and the dust in the room made it flare up.

Nice location, 6 mins walk from railway station, you can even see the sunset at the balcony. my room is next to the mosque but no worried that ok for sleep. nice breakfast well prepared. i like the rotti so much. water pressure is super good. con: that is bees fly in from outside. tv is not function.

Endroit idéal ”
Située à 500 mètres de la gare de train et 200 mètres de la gare routière. Accueil très souriant et serviable. Vue splendide sur un rayon portant à 60 kms. Chambre et sdb propres. Petit déjeuner très bon. Possible d'y manger le soir. Située sur la passage du bus montant vers le Lipton's seat. Attention mosquée à 2 pas pour un appel à la prière qui se fait à 5h15 mais ne dure que 5-10 minutes . A par la superbe visite des champs de thés pas grand chose à faire sur haputale qui n'est pas une jolie bourgade. Par contre l'arrivée en train ou bus offre de belles perspectives.

Le nom de l'hôtel est conforme à la réalité : une superbe vue! Très bon accueil des hôtes (thé de bienvenue servi sur le balcon permettant d'admirer la vue. Nous avons dîner sur place. Très bon repas a un prix très raisonnable.

엘라 기차역에서 20~30분 걸어가야 하는 나름의 단점에도 불구하고, 매우 뛰어난 풍경을 제공하는 발코니가 있는 편안한 숙소였습니다. 아침 식사는 정갈했고, 그런 풍경을 배경삼아 식사를 할 수 있다는 것도 엄청난 장점! 직원 친절하고, 저녁 식사도 따로 주문하면 정성스럽게 차려줍니다. 뚝뚝 연결해주는데 시내에서 잡는 것보다 비싸지만 충분히 만족스러웠습니다. 엘라에 간다면 주저없이 다시 가고픈 숙소입니다.
