Hotel Near Bus Station/Train Station.
Bus station just in front of Grand Windsor Hotel Auckland. Britomart train station just 5 minutes walk and located on the right side hotel. Easy use Skybus from and to Airport. From Airport drop at Stop 5 in front of Grand Windsor Htl. From Htl can take free Shuttle bus 5 minutes walk to Custom East 23 then transfer to Skybus go Airport. It takes not more than 1 hour from city to airport.

Good location and value for money but poor security
We have a back pack stolen by outsider at ground floor lift lobby during the check in procedure at counter. CCTV captured the 2 thieves close at the camera where we locate all the heavy luggage. Our mistake think that luggage is safe within the hotel lobby with cctv monitoring. The stair separate lift lobby and hotel check in counter caused inconvenience for luggage moving and create unsafe zone without security to hotel residents.

Old hotel in a prime location
The hotel was in the midst of the Auckland City Centre streets. The room was generally clean but the carpets look stained. No slippers provided. It was quite quiet , couldn't hear the noises outside. Only 2 pillows were provided on the double bed. Overall, good location with good heating in room.

Basic accommodation in heart of Auckland
Good customer service, fair price, very noisy... stayed on Saturday night and lay awake until 4am due to the thumping music coming from the nightclub downstairs - even wearing earplugs. Otherwise, a good place for an overnight stay.

Superb location
It was a pleasant stay. I stayed there for five days, and it was a hassle free stay. The best thing about this hotel is its location. The location is superb, at the centre of Queen street, easily accessible to the city area. Many restaurants and stored around. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room equipped with the little kitchen. No many fancy amenities, it is more suitable for business travel rather than for holiday,

Value for money
Our room is at first floor, therefore the music sound from nearby pub a bit noisy. Overall still value for money for its location
