The best hotel in Dumai”
My stay in Grand Zuri Dumai hotel was enjoyable. I came to Dumai for a business trip. Dumai is an industrial city and not so many options for hotel. Grand Zuri Dumai hotel is my only choice when I came to visit Dumai as it provides a clean and comfortable room, with a good quality restaurant. The location is also in the central of the city with a walking distance access to a bank and many other restaurants.

Good location”
Hotel was located near to almost all facilities eg shop,clinics,restaurant,banks and mosque. All the places are walking distance only just need to be extra careful crossing the road. The staff was friendly and treat our question politely just that the check in process was a bit long for tourist since need to photocopy the passport. Breakfast was unique and consist many variety that most of it introducing Indonesia food but as for me the food are a bit salty. Overall me and family was satisfied with the hotel. Thanks for the great experience. My suggestion, maybe can also provide shuttle to go to famous places in Dumai.

dumai is a small city, there are only two acceptable hotels and the best is the grand zuri. the staff is very helpful and friendly, all speak english. the food is ok, gado gado salad is nice (with peanut sauce).

It was my first visit in the city of Dumai and I chose this hotel based on my friend's recommendation. I believe this is the only comfortable hotel in this small city. The hotel is very good, the room is so wide for an extra bed, and the food was okay. But, they should open the pool on time in the morning.

It is supposed to be the best solution in Dumai, and after a stay there, it seems to me that it is right. Staff was really helpful and nice during our stay, taking care of everything even if the hotel was full and under renovation. If I have to go back to Dumai, I will for sure book a room in this hotel.

Small hotel in a small town”
the only hotel i would stay in every time i visit dumai and each time i drop by, it seems to deteriorate a little. air-cond is always warm and dry, water always taste weird (this time coffee came out of the tap and it went dry for a couple of hours), lobby is always smoky although this is typical of indonesian hotels, business centre doesnt seem to be well equipped/functional.

GZ is my only choice in Dumai and I am glad they had shown slight improvement as compared to the last time I had been there. More noticeable is the air-cond is cooler and the rooms are cleaner. The water still smells and taste weird.

I was enjoy with the hotel circumstances. 1 bad thing happened to me was I got a room with broken air conditioner. The AC made noisy sounds. the best thing.. Fast-Internet! Great location... there's public transport passing through (If you want to go to Ramayana - one of the supermarket in Dumai).

Location near to clinics, bank,shops and restaurant. Easily find a Beca in front of hotel if want to go nearby places and hotel also provided shuttle bus to the terminal but need to contact hotel a day before. Staff was friendly but it would be nice if the check in process can be simplify. Breakfast was OK with unique dishes promoting Indonesia food but a bit salty. My suggestion, maybe hotel can include a bus tour going to the most visited or famous places.

Check-in was OK. Room was clean. Bed was a bit firm, sheets were clean. Toilet and bath were clean, but water was salty. Shower outlet clogged. Totally usable pool - big plus! Acceptable gym, but can be crowded later in the evening as local members (non-hotel guests) arrive. Breakfast above average for an Indonesian hotel of this grade, without the usual over-salty, over-oily food. Restaurant service very slow.
