location is convenient”
Tram and bus stop just steps across the street from hotel. UAN Florenc bus station only 5 min walk, from there you can take Flix bus or Rejiojet to other town in Czech. Breakfast is nice, room is clean and comfy. However staff need more smile to make guests feel welcome.
Very busy hotel, because of the layout/location very very busy, tram right in front, car cannot stop for more than 30 seconds, smoking at the entrance, fast food/other joints at the entrance, construction, roadworks, which adds to the chaos, not peaceful and this carries on to the lobby & morning breakfast in a noisy hotel restaurant.. luckily was staying in the luxury top floor apartment at the hotel which was nice other than that not impressed at all!
Overall great stay!”
i spend 3 days at this hotel , efficient staff at reception, check in fast and very good room very clean, very good breakfast lots of food options in huge space including having my breakfast at sound of fella playing a piano..:)also very good location to to start you day with short distance walking to main attractions...
My stay at Grandior Hotel”
In general, we really enjoyed our stay at Grandior Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was pretty good (a lot of choice), our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very confortable. The only minor problem we had while arriving at the hotel to do the check-in was that our room was not ready and we had to wait 3pm to access our room. Anyway, I will definitely return to this hotel if I am going back to Prague.
Absolutely fantastic hotel, definitely recommend”
We went for my partners birthday. Well what a fabulous hotel. They had a pianist at breakfast time, they played happy birthday and gave him a chocolate cake, prosecco on arrival at breakfast for all, chocolates in the room and a card. The breakfast was amazing, every type of food possibly, waffle maker, pancake maker, egg bar, hot and cold food, cakes, bread yoghurts etc. Hotel is amazing, total luxury, slippers, dressing gowns. Very good price. The Beer Spa was amazing too. What a fantastic place. 10 minutes from Charles Bridge very central. Will deffo recommend and go back. Best hotel we stayed in in a long time. See you soon Prague.
Location and helpful staff”
It's very connected to the major sights such as Charles Bridge, Powder Tower, Prague Castle etc. The buffet breakfast is amazing, they have so many varieties and complimentary glass of white wine/virgin mary as well. Staff are very helpful and polite and made us feel welcome right from the moment we checked in. Definitely recommend!!
OK, But Nothing Great”
This is a tour company hotel. The hotel was full of tourists. The taxi can not stop in front of the hotel due to a tram line. People are standing outside the front of the main door smoking and spitting. For the $140 US/night. I could have stayed at a nicer, trendier hotel with a much better breakfast for $80-100 US. Way over valued. I would have expected to pay under $100 for this hotel.
Nice property. Good service and also good location. Good rooms ans good breakfast. I highly recommend it. Cheers
Great buffe and nice attitude staff. On my trip with my mom, she was very satisfied. thank u
Pro: in the heart of the city.. with McDonald’s , kfc , Starbucks , Lidl and a massive shopping centre with 5 mins of the hotel. This hotel should be called the jeep of the city.. the concierge services were extremely helpful to find tourist attractions suitBle for the family... breakfast was amazing with piano which played each morning for that extra vip experience. Con. Non really except I wanted a room with city view and didn’t get it until the last night.. but overall amazing experience and I would definitely be back
Located in Prague 1 area, close to Pallidium shopping mall, not far from Trams and Metro and 20 minutes walk to old town. Check in was swift. Lobby is wide with high ceilings and ample sitting space. Rooms are accessible by different lifts; seems different towers, and operated by room key. Rooms are well furnished. Kettle, minifridge, toilet accessories. My concerns were 1. They could not supply hard pillow; all pillows were very soft. 2. They deliver Ice cubes to the room , no ice makers on floors. Delivery cost Kc 200 |||| 3. The Bathroom was not ventilated at all; seems exhaust is out of order.
Value for money but do not expect too much (considering its 5 stars). In other words, it did not really seem 5 stars, the breakfast line was incredibly long, filling the already small lift lobby (resulted in many people cutting queues). There was only 1 staff checking and assigning the guests to the table, really ineffective and slow.. Many were just complaining.. Everything was okay except for the breakfast lines. Location was superb as it’s close to the train and bus station, also a walking distance to shopping and town
I was not the guest, it was a trip arranged for my Daughter and Grandaughter for my Grandaughters 21st birthday trip. They came back with a superb report from the pick up from the airport to every membeerr of the staff. They said they could not have had better service anywhere or by anyone. They also loved your city (Prague) we can understnd that to, we also found it such a friendly place. My thanks Bernard Wimbury PS. if there is a point to improve it is how to pay by credit card over the nett more simply. This is not a complaint about the staff who did it but just the proceedure seems a little old school.
The atmosphere of a large conference hotel, the mostly yellow colour scheme not particularly my favorite - however excellent room, bed and bathroom, excellent Bistro: service and quality of food, large breakfast buffet with fruits and a chef who will prepare your personal omelette. All wellness charged separately however very friendly and accomodating staff in the wellness cellar. Convenient for transportation and easy to find. Metro and bus station Florenc, tram stop Bila Labut.
House keeping & mini bar”
Hotel is awesome , staff in the lobby are so helpful, the house keeping & mini bar guy are so annoying. The mini bar & house keeping knocking the door and open it everyday even if u put " don't disturb label out side the room " it's so rude and annoying everyday.
Firstly the staff were impolite bordering on rude. The conceirge was "clueless" by providing misleading and inaccurate information in terms of hop on and hop off and distance to sights. Both concierges overall demeanor ensured that we were dissuaded from approaching them for any information. Overall the qulaity of room was definitely not 5 star and we stayed in a suite so I would hate to think what the regular room looked like.
Gorgeous hotel, nice sized rooms. Very clean and tidy. Staff very efficient at their job. Room was cleaned everyday with out fail. Even at breakfast they were very quick at clearing ur table. Breakfast was amazing such a variety of choice from freshly made omelettes to fry, to fruit and cereal. Just about a mile or under to the old town square which was perfect for us as it was that little bit quieter but still a good distance to walk to. Overall really great hotel, staff were great, great food and facilities would highly recommend it to anyone.
The room is good”
The room is good and clean, but the location is a little bit far from old town centre. The staff didn't tell us about our breakfast when we checked in. When we called them on second day morning, they sent coffee and bread to our room.
Great Staff Service and Behaviour and Location ”
The hotel's location, breakfast and staff service and courtesy was the key highlight. I had a bad experience when the shower holder rod came off and fell on my feet. Was lucky to get away with a minor cut as it could have broken some bones in my foot. The tram / bus stop n front of the hotel is a great bonus and even metro is 3 minutes away. One must buy the 24 hour public transport ticket for just Euro 4.2 which is very cheap and good to go anywhere in Prague. Since the hotel is also within walking distance of the old city (The Powder Tower, The Astronomincal Clock, The Charles Bridge, even the Palace is walkable or take Tram no 5 and then 22 to reach the Palace). The staff are very service oriented and helpful but the hotel falls short of a real 5 star. I would put it at high 4 star. We did not find the food at the Bristro great even though the breakfast spread is amazing.
Room was spacious and bright. Breakfast choices were wide with different types of bread, cheese, cold cut, cereal, omelette, warm food, juice, tes, coffee. Little fruit and yogurt. Staff were efficient and respectful but curt. Schnitzel and goulash in cafe were ok but not memorable. Soup prices and bar prices were reasonable for a hotel. Walk to old town is around 20 minutes for a slow walker. Trams stop in front of hotel so it's convenient for those who prefer to ride. If you're arriving by bus from vienna, this is well located. After exiting building of bus terminal , walk to the left along the parking area and use the only visible cross walk. After crossing, a little bit to the right is the entrance to designhotel. Enter and walk Straight until you see escalator that says grandior hotel. The money changet across the street gave a good rate. There's a nearby pharmacy and grocery. The front desk gave a reliable recommendation to try la republica beer restaurant around 5-10 min slow walk away which had nice ambience and tasty food. The room amenities were complete. I just find the half glass partition for the tub/shower inefficient in keeping the splash away from the floor. Also a towel bar under the sink would be helpful.
