Pretty good value, overall clean with a very nice bathroom”
Staff were very friendly and helpful, you can place orders for local souvenirs / snacks and pick up at the hotel or airport! Hotel was also clean and had a terrific size bathroom. Only drawback is it is a distance from the town centre. Still, highly recommended!

location abit far from central but they provide bike so if you can cycle then will be good deal. only 1 think abit dissappointed is breakfast was not inside hotel, they provide food voucher which located 15 min walk away from hotel so if in rush may buy bread from bakery just right locate at the front of the hotel

Great hotel for the money”
I very much enjoyed our stay here, and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. First, when you land at the Magong airport there is someone there waiting for you with a sign to drive you to the hotel. This is hugely helpful as the airport is about a 15 minute drive from town, where the hotel is located. Checking in was very easy, and although the staff did not speak much English, we were able to communicate effectively. They also arranged for a driver to take us to rent two motor scooters. The lobby also had loaner bikes available, but we did not use these. The room was nice, and had a really large bathroom with a shower and tub. They provided soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and many other toiletries. The shower had great water pressure and hot water. The beds were very comfortable, we had no trouble sleeping. They provided 4 bottles of drinking water each day. Surprisingly the hotel WiFi was very fast (I saw speeds up to 3mb/s). Breakfast is provided in the cafeteria area each morning. We were served breakfast sandwiches and a half a large piece of fruit. The sandwiches were different each day, but they were all good. "Green Inn" seems to be an alias for it's actual name which is "Green Homestays". Google Maps displays it as "Green Trvel". I am not sure of this, but I think either there are two locations, or they are in the middle of relocating, because the map they gave us had markers in two different places for the hotel. We stayed at the location near the corner of YangMing Road and WenGuang Road. It seemed to be nearing the completion of a renovation, with a new lobby almost ready to be used on the first floor. From this location it was only about a 10-15 minute walk to "downtown", where most of the shops and restaurants are, although there are some good restaurants nearby as well. This was my first visit to Penghu, and if I ever return I will definitely stay here again. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience.

How helpful and convenient!”
It was a really pleasant surprise! We spent much less money than I expected and didn't have to worry at all about how to travel around Magong and where to buy tickets. As soon as we arrived the staff helped us to plan our long weekend in Penghu. They recommended 10/10 fireworks and told us where and when to see them. They drove us to a scooter shop to help us rent a scooter, and to and from the harbor before and after our outings to QiMei and WangAn. The Nescafe machine in the room was a great plus, and we appreciated the array of free teas and snacks in the room. There was a pristine bathtub and the bed was super comfortable. I appreciated the decor of the hotel. Breakfast was good and filling, though there's no choice. It was a perfect place to make home base for exploring Penghu. Also, even after checkout we were able to ride their bikes for free and explore more of the island. I'm really happy!

Stylish hotel, very helpful staff”
Green Inn is a lovely hotel, just outside of the old part of Magong. They offer bikes to their guests for free, so you can get to the harbour in 5 minutes. Green Inn provided us with both a pick up and drop off at the airport, which was very convenient. The room is very big and the design is is modern yet warm and stylish. The bathroom is massive and the bathtub was very nice and comfortable after a day exploring the island. The ladies at reception do their very best to make your stay as nice as possible, even though they sometimes speak little English, we always managed to work things out together. Breakfast is served at the time you would like it to be scheduled and made for you by their cook. So no buffet, but a big plate of European inspired food (so no Chinese breakfast!). I could totally recommend this lovely hotel!

Good place to stay”
My colleagues and I came to Penghu for a weekend trip and our stay here was excellent. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The breakfast that they provided was delicious and they also have a small gym. They provided airport pickup, so we didn't have to worry about the transportation. The staff there was very welcoming and showed us place to go on the map. Thank you Green Hotel. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay here if they travel to Penghu.

Fanstatic Stay with excellent staff”
My stay at Green Inn was way too good. I had nothing much planned for my itinerary in Penghu , or should I say whatever I have planned was not smooth. The staff there was so helpful in everything. They helped me by changing my air tickets timing backwards so that I could have experience the beauty of Penghu. The boss arranged transport for my day tour , tour staff was really clear in his explanation of the island which made our trip even much more enjoyable. Room was clean and cozy. I would definitely return and recommended Green Inn to many of my friends!

Clean and relaxing”
my friend and i used the green inn as our base to explore penghu. the hotel was clean and the staff were helpful, but not all of the staff speaks english, so we missed some important information on ferry times and transportation. the staff did arrange airport pickup and drove us to rent scooters, so other than some miscommunication, they did a great job. the location is a bit out of the center of town, so plan to rent bikes/scooters, ask the hotel for rides, or do some walking. we did a lot of walking, but beware the street signs in makung. it's easy to get turned around, and many streets aren't labeled at all. overall, it was a nice, relaxing stay. much of penghu is more geared toward mandarin-speaking tourists, so the people at the green inn made a great effort to see to our needs.

Great service, luxurious room”
actually the name of this hotel is not green inn but green home stays. the outside doesn't match the inside. we loved our stay. staff is very friendly and helpful, we became a bit lazy since they spoiled us so much and want our stay to be as comfortable as possible. breakfast is more or less the same every day, but they try to differentiate dishes as much as possible with the fixed ingredients. the room looks awesome, although one might consider the bathroom to be out of proportion, it's almost as big as the sleeping area. the superior room contains bose iphone speakers, fridge and a big variety of free snacks (chips, oatmeal, instant noodle soup, cookies): refill every day. and yes, we are aware that this might confirm the stereotype of the dutch, but we never experienced such a service and such a variety in this price category of hotels:) all in all, we highly recommend this hotel. by the way, as is suggested by some other commentators, you can rent a scooter, but it's not included in the price. the same holds for the ride from the airport to the hotel.

Amazing beach vacation totally worth it”
This hotel was recommended to me by a friend, and I am glad she did so. Everything was well taken care of by the staff members, including airport pickup/dropoff, breakfast, car rental, snorkeling, tourism info, etc. The hotel atmosphere is very nice and the room is very spacious and well designed. Simple but nice. Location wise it is located very near the downtown area of Makong City, so getting to places is very convenient and quick. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Penghu.

Brand new hotel with great friendly staffs”
I enjoyed my stay at Green Inn. The hotel staffs helped made everything easier by picking us up and dropping us off at the airport and setting us up with a rental scooter and everything else we needed. The rooms were clean and fancy. The location was 15-20 min walk to the central area in Magong. If you want to stay near the city in a comfortable hotel then I highly recommend the Green Inn.

I could say I’m satisfied 90%. The hotel has the largest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel (not to mentioned Expensive Suites) but that is also one of the shortcomings cus tat makes the room size inadequate. The space shld be better utilised. Breakfast was not really my type and it has different breakfast timing to follow and it will be full if u choose late a first in all my stay in various countries and hotels. Gym was adequate, the common space outside the rooms like a living hall is very thoughtful cus it caters to a large group to mingle in the hall rather than squeeze in the room. The staffs were excellent but the location is not so good. Although it’s not too far from the shopping area but it’s not readily accessible either. 7-11 is nearby but not much eateries to choose from. Ferry service to and fro airport is free but I think so are others in Penghu. All in all I think for the price it’s a good choice and u need a rent a vehicle if you choose this hotel.

Fantastic stay at Green Inn”
1 of the best I would say. The hotel staffs will correspond with you 1 or 2 days prior your arrival to the airport via email to facilitate fast pick. When I reached the hotel, they already have my room ready, just need to show them the Agoda confirmation printout and passport. And they ask me about the time I will be having breakfast for the next few days and my departure flight. Very friendly staffs.

Great place, really fancy”
Really nice place and very pleasant staff. They organised any trip we wanted as we spoke no mandarin so we were grateful to say the least. Only real gripe is value for money as the breakfast wasn't great and you had to pay to use the washing machine and dryer! It wasn't too expensive but at the high price of the hotel you'd think itd be complimentary

Beautiful Islands”
I had a wonderful stay at the Green Inn. Staff were very helpful organising Tours and giving recommendation. Only disadvange was the level of english was low but managable. I was fortunate my girlfriend is fluent in Chinese. The island in general has few English speakers so without a native speak vacation could be challenging. I would highly recommend this hotel.
