Quiet oasis, close to town”
This place is tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Toul Tem Poung area, but close enough to walk to eateries and the market. Tuk tuks are parked outside waiting for passengers, so transport is not a problem, just make sure the staff bargain the price for you before you go, or you will definitely get fleeced. The staff mostly don't speak English, so be patient with them. They are learning. Their sweet smiles will melt your heart, so be kind. This is a social enterprise, so your stay is helping to provide jobs for young ladies who would otherwise have to work in a beer garden or karaoke joint. I definitely recommend this place to stay!

Unpretentious and nice guesthouse ”
Located close to the Russian Market with access to many restaurants and coffee shops. Very charming and helpful staff. Nice shady patio, very useful as the windows have been painted dark and you don't really open them.

very bad air”
The air in the room, at times, was very bad, possibly toxic. This was probably because of auto exhaust or pesticide spraying coming in the room through the air conditioning. Unacceptable. I had to change rooms.

Cheap and clean hotel”
price, hotel room, staff
The hotel was very beautiful and clean. Our room was nice and we had a good view on top floor. A very nice separated bathroom with amenities needed for a traveler.

Simple but relaxing”
Outdoor patio, kind staff, non- profit work
This inn has a great patio that is perfect place to relax. The bedding was really old but the room was clean. Beware laundry here is very expensive. Overall a great place!

Paid for 3 days, left after 2”
Some staff were very sweet. Shady sitting area
We had just spent several days in Vietnam where we were getting lovely hotels with often sumptuous breakfasts, quite luxurious by our standards. What a contrast to what we have found in Cambodia. When we arrived our room was full of mosquitoes. There was no mosquito net and for these next two days we were eaten alive. Phnom Penh is a dengue fever area but there weren't even mozzie coils available. The price we paid gave us only a shared bathroom, and the toilet ran constantly. To make it flush you had to take off the lid and play around with the stop cock. The hotel is a long way from everything except the Russian market, so we racked up quite a bill in tuck-tucks. Breakfast was included but consisted of two overcooked eggs and slices of soggy 'toast'. I didn't bother the second day. I like businesses that give back to the community but personally prefer secular organisations. IMO the people of Cambodia need help in getting a little more social equity not (well meaning) foreigners trying to inflict a new creation myth. One of the first things that a staff member said to me is 'Are you a Christian? I'm sure he was only being friendly but it jarred a little. Levels of English were generally poor (but infinitely better than my Khemer) so getting information was challenging. On the plus side of the ledger the sitting area in the courtyard was shady and pleasant. The young lady that cooked dinner was very sweet and cooked very good pasta. We had paid for 3 days but decided to leave after two.

Nice hotel, good location, good value for money”
Nice courtyard area, free breakfast with coffee/tea, close to the Russian market area
Good value for money. Nothing fancy, just basic room accommodations, but the staff were friendly, and the fact that they offer continental breakfast was a nice addition!

Green environment and group friendly”
The clean and tastefully decorated rooms, the living room cum kitchen and the dining area outside the rooms with its palm trees and fountains
The staff speak good English, were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions and helping us to find good eateries. I like the quiet serene atmosphere within the hotel and the spaces creating for group to gather and talk i also find the story behind the setting up of the hotel inspiring. Great work!

Great place to stay”
Location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean
Good location with only a short walk to the Russian Markets and various food places. Very friendly helpful staff, the manager speaks very good English. The small garden makes it a lovely quiet place to return to after a day out sight seeing. Spacious clean rooms. Breakfast is included in. The price but you dont normaly get a choice of what is being served. I would stay here again it's lovely
