We came to labuan bajo for diving and didn‘t spend a lot of time in our room. But there was everything we wanted/needed. The garden in the hotel is very nice to hang out and the staff was very friendly! Because the standard doublebed room we booked was not ready at the time we checked in, they offered us a better room for the same price.

Good deal for Labuan Bajo”
Surprisingly big breakfast buffet, good facilities, rather new hotel. Bathrooms are basic (cold water showers, no shower curtain etc.) but do the job and in this price range, it's a pretty good deal for Labuan Bajo. It's a bit away from the main road (20 minutes walk or so), no problem if you have a scooter and apparently they do a shuttle service, which I didn't ask about since I had my own ride. Quiet location. I'll stay there again.

Let down and disappointed”
We stayed in 3 different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and numerous during our travels across Indonesia, and this was the most disappointing by far. We've been backpacking for a little while, so we're familiar with budget accommodation, but it the interaction with the staff at Green Prundi that really disappointed us. We contacted the hotel upon booking with them to see if they would collect kindly collect us from our previous hotel, to which they agreed, but come collection time nobody turned up. We waited for almost an hour in the sun, repeatedly tried to call the same number we'd used earlier before flagging down a paid taxi. Upon arrival at Green Prundi, we asked why nobody collected us (there were 4 members of staff sitting in the communal area, playing on their phones) at which point the staff all laughed, turned back to their phones and one member of staff reluctantly began checking us in with no explanation. Even upon asking numerous times, they understood our question and chose to ignore us. The town shuttle service was only offered to us between 6-9PM (so we never used it), however we did schedule an afternoon airport transfer, which they tried to rush us on to 15 minutes before our agreed time (not helpful when trying to check over your bags for flying). For what you get the rooms are slightly expensive by Indonesian standards, but everything is in Labuan Bajo so cannot fault them for this, and the rooms are big with good aircon and a picturesque garden. But the stained sheets and bathroom smelling of sewage are not acceptable.

LABUAN BAJO is an overrated destination. Hotels are expensive and the services provided are regular. I got a 4 star hotel in Bali for the same money. TV was not working. Bathroom is quite open in the ceiling so it gets noisy from other rooms and full of mosquitoes. It also needs an ASAP upgrade and deep clean. Beds comfortable, AC working ok. Breakfast is nice too.

We stayed at three hotels in the 300k-400k range in LBJ. This was marginally the best, not that that is an endorsement. The good: the hotel provides a free, on-demand evening shuttle from downtown. Day staff speak good English. Good air-con. Breakfast was good enough most days: a simple buffet with eggs and/ or pancakes and fruit. The not so good: Rooms are dark and musty. We had to struggle to get towels. Location is a bit far from anywhere. We stayed at three hotels in the 300k-400k range in LBJ. This was marginally the best, not that that is an endorsement. Spacious rooms with air-conditioning. Hot water for showering (But only if you leave the bathroom light on for a few hours). WiFi worked in the communal areas. Free taxi service into town and back in the evenings. Some staff don't speak the best English and were consequently a little unhelpful whilst others were brilliant.

Good return airport transfer, good breakfast, helpful staff with limited English language. Bad points are, pity re pool not being open, abysmal WiFi plus room 44 plagued with ants near front door.

Lovely oasis at the top of the hill.”
Clean and tidy with comfy beds and pillows. No hot water ...but not really an issue . Friendly staff with shuttle service to town/airport. Breakfast of eggs, pancakes and tea/coffee was nice enough - but early 6am-8am. We walked to and from town -up and down the hill (approx. 25 minutes) We enjoyed it here. We would stay again.

The staff was very kind, we forgot something on the boat we went to komodo island and they inmediately took us by car at 6 in the morning to the travel office to get it. They also took us to the city for dinner to the centre for free. Breakfast was also very good.

Ok place, far from town center though”
Stayed here for two nights. It's quite a nice hotel, lovely gardens and reasonably clean. No hot water for the shower though and the wifi was really really bad. What I think really needs improvement is the shuttle service. They supposedly do a free return shuttle into town between 7-9 (these times vary depending on what staff member you talk to) however we found it such a pain in the ass we preferred just to pay people out on the street to take us either way by the end of our stay. First shuttle pick up time they arrived 40 minutes late, next morning we arranged a time to be driven to our dive center early morning - the van was gone and we were told to wait 30 minutes. Then when we arranged to be taken to the airport the following morning, you guessed it, the van was gone again and instead had to rush to find a bike to pay out on the road to take us instead. So basically, you can either be completely screwed around by their dodgy shuttle service, or you can just continue to pay strangers out on the street to drive you into town. They really need a timetable for there shuttle where you book a slot.

I only stayed one night as I needed to be in town to organise my tour. They did provide a free transfer service to town and if you were staying around LabuanBajo for a while and rented a scooter it could be a good location and value for money compared to the town, which was definitely a challenge. Breakfast was very basic but hey your not paying very much.

Old and horrible rooms.”
The bathroom faucets had rust like from 70 years ago. They should change them immediately. The walls had cracks everywhere. The furniture was very ugly and old. We called the hotel for an airport pickup but didn't work out. They must update the telephone number that appear in internet. At least the bed was quite fine and clean.

Shower was not working, I had to go and get shower to a communal bathroom. Staff were pretty good which made the stay joyful. The location was selected by us intentionally to be nearby where we wanted to be but you need a ride to get down to the center. Overall it was good if we exclude that we couldn't shower.
