The best homestay in Vietnam”
Aside from the rooms being spacious/clean, the good food and the location very close to the phong nha cave, the best thing about this homestay is Linh. Linh is so helpful and the kindest person we have met on our travels. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for you and nothing is too much an ask. Amazing little Homestay! ”
Lovely little homestay to stay in while visiting phong nha. Linh will organise the cave trips for you and have everything sorted so you can have a really easy stay. 100% do the cave tour its amazing! The family dinner you must do as well! The food was the best i've had in Vietnam! Linh works so hard to run this and ensures everyone is so well looked after. I recommend if you're getting in late to get a grab scooter instead of waking her up, its not far and very cheap. Thank you!!!

The manager can speak English fluently and very attentive. This homestay has river front view and the owner can prepare river front dinner with tasty local food. They have motorbike for rent too, and can arrange taxi pickup for airport transportation with reasonable rate. All in all we had 2 nights happy staying there

Very clean, very comfy, amazing home-cooked food and amazing service and info for all attractions in the local area. Linh is amazing, her family very friendly and the views from the homestay of the river are so beautiful with the mountains in the background. I don't normally write reviews but she deserves this. This place is special.

Linh who ran everything was simply amazing, so accommodating and welcoming. She does her best to give you the best experience in Phong Nha and the most honest. She helped take care of helping me book my taxi to the airport and my train ticket to Danang. Thank you Linh for everything!

Nice Homestay Very Hospitable ”
I travelled to Phong Nha with 3 other friends and we stayed at Green Riverside Cosy Home. Linh and her family were amazing hosts! The homestay is great for the price, it's super cheap and we had the river view so it was beautiful to wake up to in the morning. The best part of this stay was just how nice and hospitable Linh and her family were. They went out to get us snacks and drinks every time we had requested for something. If they didn't have it, they would go buy it. They let us borrow their bikes. They even drove to town to inquire about home massages for us! Definitely 10/10, amazing hosts.

This homestay is located in a good area by the river. Its rooms and bungalows are very nice. Only thing I'd suggest is stronger a/c units in the bungalows/rooms.

Amazing host!”
We ended up arriving later on in the evening and our room had been filled. However the family also has another Homestay just 400m down the main road where we stayed instead. It was lovely there and Linh was incredibly helpful with our every need.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Linh, the wonderful host, is the heart and soul of the home stay. She always made sure we had everything that we needed, and was an incredible resource as well. If you plan on going on any tours, make sure to get her insight. She took the time to sit down with us, and found the absolute perfect trip for our group.

Was ok for a night. We checked in very early since our bus dropped us in Phong Nha at 4:30 am. Lin got up to let us in. Room was just Ok- wasn’t stocked or that clean. Host was nice and arranged a nice family dinner for us the night we stayed. Good breakfast.

Nice homestay - friendly owner initially however she seemed a bit less keen when we didn’t organise a tour with her. Bit out of town but nice room, good breakfast. They let us arrive at 4am and sleep on a spare bed which was lovely. The host is able to organise lots for you however we Found buses and motorbikes were cheaper down the road

An amazing ‘home away from home’”
Having stayed here for a second time, Green Riverside is quickly becoming a ‘home away from home’ for me. My Linh and her family continue to be amazing hosts and offer fantastic hospitality. Phong Nha is one of my favourite destinations to travel to and I will continue to stay at Green Riverside in the future. My Linh works extremely hard to run her very own successful Homestay with Green Riverside, and at the same time as raising her own family! She is always ready to welcome you with open arms and will provide an outstanding customer service. I thoroughly recommend staying here! A very affordable accomodation with very good rooms, dining options, amenities and services, and most significantly, a fantastic authentic experience - where can you go wrong. Peaceful and friendly homestay ”
This homestay is a great base to explore the national park by scooter and is located at a more quiet location than the busier main tourist street. Green Riverside Cosy Home is run by extremely friendly host, Ms Linh. As we arrived very late by sleeper bus, she picked us up directly from the bus stop, even allowed us to check in early against a small fee and gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room! All communication with her was super easy and helpful – be it in person or via messaging. The tour to Ruc Mon Cave she recommended was one of the highlights of our journey. Both the tour and the homestay itself are highly recommended.

It’s all in the title. With this accomodation having a small capacity for guests, cosy is what we got and it felt like home. This is a family run homestay which has great quality rooms and amenities. What I love about it most is that it’s a family business. By staying here you’re also supporting a local family, which is a great thing to do. My Linh, the owner, is absolutely fantastic. Whenever you need something, just send her a message on WhatsApp and she’ll read it right away. Great customer service and very helpful. The Cosy Home is very conveniently located with small cafes and restaurants right outside, and the Oxalis head office in short walking distance. There are also free bicycles to rent. The rooms are clean, spacious and quite modern and the on-site restaurant has a good variety of food available, catering for many different tastes, including Asian and Western. Plus, a small but tasty breakfast is included. We were very happy with our stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful location right on the river with a great breakfast!! The family dinner they offer was delicious and a lot of fun, highly recommend eating that if you stay there! Stop right now and book this place! Hands down, one of the nicest place I’ve ever stayed at. Linh and her family will ưelcome you with gorgeous riverside location, ice cold water on arrival, gorgeous sparkling clean rôm and so much travel advice and booking help. Exceptionally friendly and great stay ”
This is Lins family home and she welcomes you in to her family with a broad smile and a fantastic attitude. Lin goes way beyond what anyone would expect, she picked us up on her moped from the bus stop, gave us honest advice and organised tours for us. She has guided in ALL the caves so really knows her stuff. She wasn’t happy with how our tour ended up (day 2 was washed out by a rainstorm) and pro-actively contacted the company for a partial refund. She has free bikes you can use, mopeds to hire at a fair price, will change money at a fair rate and will welcome you to be part of her home. The accommodation is first rate and the food was spot on. This is a honest, well run place with a dynamo of a woman at its heart. What more can I say, Lin, if you ever want a job in the UK please give me a call.
