Greenery Resort: Thumbs Up”
This resort is nestled among high hills and some limestone cliffs. The reception area is pleasant, and the restaurant on a veranda overlooking the pool, with another dining area that is open, although somewhat more enclosed. The food at the restaurant was, for the most part, superb. We had a dinner party of four adults and two children, all Thai, except for me. For example, the chicken with cashew nut, fried spring rolls, and laab kai were excellent, although the latter had a couple of bone fragments in it. I didn’t sample a couple of the other dishes. Courtesy and friendliness marked the service, both at check-in and at the restaurant. There’s a very nice pool. The rooms – we had a “Greenery Plus” room – were a bit tired and outdated. The carpet was a bit musty, but that is typical of carpeting in hotels in Thailand. Much better to have hardwood or ceramic floors. The room was pleasant enough, with a firm and comfortable bed, a small refrigerator, and a small sitting area by the windows, and that was quite pleasant. The bathroom was also a bit dated, but very functional with a wonderful shower. In sum, this was a reasonably good place to stay, particularly if you plan on going to Khao Yai National Park, the entrance to which was about 2 kilometers away. Bottom line: would I stay here again? Yes.
Excellent resort style hotel”
hotel is very close to khao yai national park, but it has good play facilities for children, particularly a small water park. rooms were good sized and comfortable, although lighting for reading was a small problem. service was also excellent. overall, the best of the three places where we have stayed in khao yai.
Great hotel and wonderful staff”
A nice quiet resort with a lot of options for families. Rooms are comfortable and have balconies (although chairs on the balconies would be nice). Close to Khao Yai National Park - easy to tour the park and see lots of wildlife and wonderful forests. We let the hotel arrange for a guide and were not disappointed.
Extravagant Hotel features and Service”
We have stayed here for one night and very well satisfied, we HIGHLY recommend this hotel to families with children as it's a really good resort to spend quality time with your kids. It's surrounded with greens, fun activities for the whole family and great staff service. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Khao Yai.
Relaxing Hotel, Friendly Staff”
Hotel was located in a good area if you plan on visiting Khao Yai National Park, there are various restaurants nearby as well as vineyards and sightseeing attractions. In the same compound as the hotel, there is a Life Park which offers a wide range of outdoor activities for young and old kis. Pros-Friendly staff, decently priced room, good selection of restaurants and sports bar, good location, lots of activities. Cons-Cleanliness, Hard Bed, Limited selection for buffet breakfast.
a bit of comfort near Khao Yai”
I wanted a comfortable place for a family visit to Khao Yai - this hotel did not disappoint. The service was friendly and the room clean. Food was OK and the restaurant in a nice garden area. Location just a few hundred meters from the national park entrance could not be more convenient. I was surprised at the price of the swimming pool. It is a great pool for the kids, very well maintained with slides and all but it cost more than 1,000 baht to get 4 of us in. Same for the fun park rides - great fun but quite pricey. Still, can't be cheap keeping these facilities maintained here...
Lovely location but facility not up to par”
Hotel is located on one of the main entering the Khao Yai National Park. The hotel offers great value for the accomodation, there are not other hotels in this price category that offers the same comfort. The other hotel being a 5 star hotel cost twice as much, the rest of the hotels are 2 star with basic facilities provided. One of the section of the resort is renovated to a modern style. Even though its renovated, the finishing touches were very badly done. The showers still use the old water heater system, the hot water worked at night - but then stop working the next morning. Many customers have complained with similar issues. Hotel has a little water slide / play area which cost $8/day. This is great for small children to enjoy. There is a "Lifestyle Park" within the hotel grounds which offers plenty of adult attractions - hot air ballon, atv, buggy, paintball, bowling, zip line, etc. The activities are pretty impressive, but it costs a bit much for the time they give you to enjoy it. Food at the hotel was average, not great but not bad. The mini bar was the cheapest I've seen in any 3 star hotel. Staff was friendly at the check-in counter, but there was not enough bell boys to help out with the luggage if there is a big group.
Wonderful setting in the coutryside”
the greenery is a great hotel in many ways. the location is fantastic for day tours of the khao yai parc. the staff is friendly if you don't expect a great level of english. the hotel has been refurbished recently and most rooms are now in good decorative order. communal areas are lovely. breakfast is truly outstanding. minor negative points: the restaurant is a little expensive (especially western dishes) and the main pool is a pay area, which is annoying.
Green place like you leave in the foest”
I was there for two times; one is my company's seminar, and the other time is for attending Khao Yai Half Marathon. I love this place because I feel like I am in the forest, its atmosphere is cover by the tree so that it make this place a bit cold. The staff is really nice and helpful, and the location is very good and easy to find and access.
Peaceful location with attractions nearby”
We stayed at Greenery only one night, a pity as there are so many attractions nearby that worth a visit ! Hotel is nice, our room was recently renovated and with mountain view. There is a water amusement park in the premises but hotel guests have to pay for it, however there is a small swimming pool free of charge between the hotel main buildings. Walking distance from the hotel (there is also a free hotel shuttle) you can enjoy the Life Park, a lot of attractions and fun. Locations is OK and hotel is very easy to find as accessible from main road to Khao Yai National Park.
A great experience with nature.”
Khao Yai is a great place to relax and away from the busy city lift. Greenary resort provides a place for nature with a beautiful surrounding full of green life. Breadfast is great and is value for money.
All in one”
There are fun activities provided in this hotel called 'life park', such as 'ATV car', 'climbing', new machine 'Giant swing' ; very excited, Bowling, etc. Suitable for family and to arrange for company activity. All staffs very kind, willing to help. Many nice places surrounding. You can go out to the nearby places. Also can find the local restuarant which food is good. Many types of room to choose. There are plenty of facilities here such as swimming pool, resturant, drinking bar, etc. This hotel is located on Kao Yai, you can go to explore Kao Yai before or after. Nice road also.
The grass is always greener ...”
One of the older establishments in Khao Yai, but has kept abreast with renovations and additions over the years. Nice rooms, good size, with balcony overlooking the beautiful valley in the case of our room. Well positioned between town and the national park (half way between each). Life Park is fun and games on your doorstep: zorb ball, clay pigeon shooting, go karts, ATV's, bungy etc etc.
Great for Kids”
The hotel is situated near the Northern entrance to Khao Yai and has numerous restaurants within a couple of km either way if you have transport. The rooms are fine and the facilities outstanding with the neighbouring Life Park offering numerous activities to keep the kids happy (at a cost - each ride is a multiple of baht depending on what it is.) There is a charge to use the best swimming pool at the resort (be warned, height not age related) and the restaurants and bars on site are not cheap. The rooms are not particularly well soundproofed and, given the number of children who will stay at the resort, be prepared to be woken early. Breakfast gave a good choice but I was disappointed to see the eggs (including omelettes) on the buffet rather than being cooked to taste Generally good but pricey with the add ons.
Well Priced, Centrally Located”
Check in was prompt, the staff were very nice and even walked us to our rooms. Rooms were good size but bed was too hard, pillow was a little small. Although rooms were newly renovated, the bathrooms still had a lot of stains and mold. Cleanliness could be improved. Pools were a little small for the size of the hotel, there is a mini mini water park for kids which is available for a small fee. Hotel is connected to Life Park which offers a wide range of outdoor activities for young and older children. Centrally located so it offers easy access up Khao Yai mountain or to visit the winery, Palio, and a handful of restaurants.
Great resort”
Very enjoyable stay. The location is very near Khao Yai National Park and there are several good great dining place near the resort. The room standard is acceptable but still not compare to a 5 star resort.
Nice hotel”
good atmosphere. very near to the entrance to khao yai national park. overall, everything is better than my expectation. but, the breakfast is a bit disappointed. not so many variety of menus. all facilities are not brand new but still in a good condition. wifi needs to pay thb 50 for 70 mins. free wifi would be better.
Lovely room, good staffs”
My 4 yrs old quite enjoyed stay there but need the vehicle to travel around Khao Yai no transport except the local buses that come every half hour from Pakchong to Khao Yai there is transport around hotel but not for outside
very good for family”
great location very near Khao Yai national Park and others tourist attractions. Friendly and informative staff. lots of fun at Live park nearby.
The new building is very nice. ”
Close to the hi-light area of Kao-Yai National Park which has a lot of facility and amendment resources. The hotel has a huge area and you should book the new building which has a better atmosphere. Breakfast is good, a lot of various kind of food. However, the Wi-fi if not free!
