I have been booking rooms before, but never got to stay. Finally stayed today. I wanted to surprise my husband with a romantic getaway, but ended up bringing the kids. The duplex room we stayed in was themed like Batman, which I really liked. However, the lighting was not enough, and I suggest adding another pendant light above the staircase landing.

Towels problem, the rest great for me”
Only the towels given with 1 piece of long hair each. My group (3 of us - guys only) referred to this staycation. We opened the new towels displayed in the toilet & found out that each of them with long hair. Other segments clean enough. But, provided a glass & a spoon only this time. 2nd time stayed in this hotel's duplex room with different design. The hotel founder and designer spent effort & cost in design for each room. Recommend to support accordingly.
The design of the suite room is suitable for COUPLE or LOVERS ONLY”
The location of this property building is not suitable for me, it's my own problem purpose of feeling uncomfortable with the environment surrounded outside this property. Need to walk about 15 minutes to reach at BTS then further longer to arrive at Sungei Wang, Low Yat, Jln Alor & Pavilion. Quite dangerous to walk at night time from hotel property up to Jln Alor. The hose in the toilet was leaking at midnight and sound created around the ceiling at midnight only, made me unable to sleep well till 5:30am. Would not like to disturb the staffs during midnight. I indicated this problem to the hotel staff while checking out only. Hotel side spent effort with the unique cum attractive design of the suite room. I occupied with the suite room with RACE CAR. The lightning & interior design are definitely suitable for couple or lovers only, able to develop the love feeling easily. Especially with the design of bath tub. Such an intelligent designer and hotel founder. But, got previous customer damaged parts of the race car till the hotel side stuck the damage parts with cellotape. Just provided 1 cup & 1 spoon. The toilet bowl got dark brown stain which need to figure out the solution to clear it. The rest satisfied. After checking, can be said this hotel offering cheaper rate compared with other formal hotels at Bukit Bintang & Pudu. Furthermore, with unique cum attractive design only available at this hotel in Bukit Bintang and Pudu area.
Lovely Decored Themed-room”
My kids were stunned by the 'horse-drawn carriage bed' which came into their eyes the first thing when they opened the door! They got so excited about the whole design of the themed-room. Decorations have been old, some deteriorating, for sure, but the whole aura of the themed-room was still very fairy-tale-liked, which was appealing to the children, who immediately took a lot of photos in the room. Other things were still fine with us, but the carpet desperately needed replacement, with quite a few patches of obvious dirty marks and maybe some 'burnt marks'? There was a water kettle in the room, which wasa plus, but the LACK OF FRIDGE was the major, major minus for this lovely-decored room. Another thing which annoyed us was, out of two air-conditioning units, only one was working, which took a long time to cool down the room in tropical KL, seemingly on the top floor of the building. Worse was the fixed programme of that only air-conditioner, which will automatically turn itself off in one hour's time. That means we woke up at night by the heat once a while to walk to the switch next to the door to switch it on again (yes, there is no remote control for that). And for the breakfast, I wouldn't complain about its lack of choices considering the amount of money I have paid for the whole room INCLUDING breakfast, and the plain fried rice did taste not bad, with a toaster for guests to make their own fresh toasts, with 'Gaya' (coconut cream) available with butter and evaporated milk, which was definitely a good surprise for us. Watermelons slices were fresh and cold. Coffee and tea came with evaporated milk to give us a taste of local drinks as well! So, in summary, positive aspects include: • Fairy-tale-like themed room decor: horse-drawn carriage and respective furniture pieces and pretty wall painting (as seen in the photos on Agoda) • Presence of electric water kettle Good value for money for aspects included: • Not bad breakfast in a rather cozy, small restaurant area • Coffee and bathroom kits included • Centrally-situated location surrounded by local food outlets in the old district and new shopping areas, even walking distance to places like Jalan Alor Points to note when considering this room: • No fridge in room • Horribly stained and deterorated carpet • Timed (off after one hour) air-conditioning with no remote control Additional point to note: The Hotel was named something else on Google Maps, so it could be difficult for guests to call a Grab to get there. The management of the whole hotel chain should take initiative to correct the names of all the Kingston HotelSSS across the country to avoid further confusion of future guests.
