Astounding staying expectation”
This is the first hostel I tried in Japan and the service is beyond expectation - Staff: are super friendly and communicate fluently in English. - Facility: new facility with clean shower and toilet. I stayed in female dorm and there was a box with key lock to keep your properties. The bed is even big enough for 2 slim people. - Convenience: it locates in main cosy shopping area of Sapporo. You can easily get access to main tourist attractions and many tasty restaurants. - Price: I got 20% of normal price (which makes me love Grids more) Anyway, nice experience and highly recommend for budget travellers. P.s: only one not so good point is that you might feel a little bit annoyed by the one sleeping on higher bed

Amazing location ”
I stayed in the single room and for people travelling with a lot of luggage, the single are pretty snug so be aware of that. The room and facilities are very clean and comfortable and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. The location is amazing if you plan on spending most of your time around city centre, it’s only minutes away from anything you could possibly need. Even though it’s in the centre of susukino, the room is very quiet and great even for a light sleeper. The only noise that you may encounter is people going in and out of their rooms, otherwise the double glazed windows does an amazing job at keeping the sound out. Highly recommended!

Very Good Location and Security System ”
Location in middle of Tanuki Koji 5, next to Kitkat Calbee specialty shop and above Shimonya restaurants and lots of shopping shops surrounding this hostel. This hostel has very good security system whereby everyone will be given an access card which you'll have to tap before you can press to which level you're going. There's a relatively medium size box with a key but good enough for you to put all important things. Each floor has toilet and shower and each individual room are big enough to put luggage and light is bright enough too. The common area has hot water, or you can boil own water. Very convenient to board the airport bus from the hostel; walk from hostel towards Tanuki Koji 6 and bus stop to airport is on your right. The bus timetable is printed at the bus stop so it is very easy to read it. Very near to Ramen Sora, just steps away and about 15 minutes walking distance to Nijo Market, Ebisoba Ramen, Ramen Shingen and also the Original Ganso Ramen Street.

Great little place - clean, cheap, friendly, homely”
Location is super awesome and convenient, right in the centre of Sapporo. Staff is friendly, environment is clean and homely. There is a small kitchen area for cooking / heating things up, right next to a seating area for eating / chilling / working. Shared bathroom is spotless. Only room for improvement could be a more ergonomic bunk bed in the loft room because moving around under the bunk is painful for anyone who is slightly taller. However, for the price we paid there can be no complains whatsoever. Will definitely visit again when we are next in town!

Hotel within the shopping area”
Grids sapporo hotel was a very convenient place to stay since it is in the heart of the shopping area. When you go out of the hotel, you can easily shop. Around 3 mins to don quixote store and a lot of shops nearby. It is also very accessible to the tram stops and walking distance to the different tourist area in sapporo. I just walked to the hotel going to and from the main train station. Then i passed by the sapporo clock tower, tv tower, and the red brick house. The hotel has a dining area where you are allowed to cook or heat your own food. There is also unlimited coffee or tea if you like any time. I highly recommend this hotel.

My favorite place to stay in Sapporo ”
This hostel is located so perfectly. Right near Odori park and very easy access to the airport. There are places to eat and many things to do right outside the door. The place is very clean and the bed was super comfortable and the staff were so kind and helpful. Also great breakfast!

the room is very comfortable and cozy, and the public place is including TV and kitchen. It's very clean and it's a new hotel. Like here so much! the location is just in the main area and very convenient around. Also the staffs are so kind and nice, they will deal with all ur questions if u have some problems. The Grids Sapporo is located in Tanuki Koji shopping arcade, access to underground subway is very close as well. Booked 1 queen and 1 twin room, space for luggage is better in twin room. With excellent location, and the promo price, The Grids Sapporo Hotel & Hostel is definitely value for money!

It's good for solo travellers who is looking for cheap and affordable and comfortable stay in Sapporo, compartment for dorm is quite spacious and is provided with small locker to store valuable items. Close to attractions around Sapporo and 5 min walk to Susukino station. Free coffee and tea at the lounge.

Very good value for money”
Very good value for money. The staff went above and beyond to help me with many issues i had not relating to my stay (i had issues with my credit card company). I loved the fact that in the hostel there was space to put your things and a safe included. It is so cheap! Only complaint would be that the wood between the beds are very thin, so i recommend getting the top bunk. Every time someone on the top bunk moved or snored, it vibrated my whole bottom bunk.

I like everything about Grid Sapporo Hostel. One of the best hostel I’ve stayed throughout my travels. Nothing beats its location, cleanliness and the super accommodating staffs! If I ever return to Sapporo, I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Safe and great facilities”
Nice location, covered walkway & flat underground to all the way to Sapporo JR stn & Susukino Stn. The grids (dorm personal space) is more spacious than I expected. I could put my mid size check in luggage inside & open it. That just makes me felt like I have a single room once I close the curtain. There is private Coin locker room (w fee) for use after check out (check in luggage storage is free), and you can shower after check out for a small fee (as towel rental fee)

Clean and well maintained, ample lounge space and kitchen facility, located in core shopping area abt 15 min walk to JR Sapporo stn, ample space in the capsule to lay your carrier, locked cabinet inside the capsule, no new towels or sheets and no cleaning service for consecutive stay, so good for 1-2 days stay

Small but cosy and you do not get the noise and activities in the dorm. The location is super good. Super convenient and if you are not in a hurry, the airport bus is just round the corner. Time table of the bus is pinned on the board beside the reception area and the staff will guide you how to go there. In winter, you might want to take the under ground link to the 南3条西5丁目32 狸小路5丁 exit.

Grids Sapporo is in the heart of Sapporo's city center where going to Odori Park or Sapporo Station is a breeze. The bed is comfortable and give you enough space in private, though dormitory. Also, free tea and coffee 24/7.

Right in the center of Sapporo ”
The location is excellent! And it’s very safe for a solo traveler, for there are keys and ic cards to get into the building. After checking in, there’s no curfew time!!! But you’ll have to use the stairs if coming back too late. And stores of all kinds are everywhere downstairs!!!!!!! It’s close to odori station and Susukino station too! Anyway, I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends. おススメです！ 地理位置佳，价格便宜，环境也不错！推荐 Advice: I found small trash between my bed and the wall... Staffs need to pay more attention to the cleanliness.
