I'll be VERY HONEST. It's an old, family-owned & family-operated resort. NOT a hotel but one of those old resorts. Budget-friendly. We stayed in one of their aircon rooms. The best part of our stay is that the people who work there (including the owners) were very nice & accommodating. I have a few personal criticisms about the place, though--not to give to a negative feedback BUT as "reminders or words-of-caution" to those who are planning to book there. Aside from that, these are simply intended to give the owners an idea of how to improve the place. That being said........1) Resort isn't exactly located along the national highway. You actually have to drive through a long, narrow road going to the resort. Our biggest surprise was that we had to cross a NARROW bridge with no side barriers--good enough for just 1 mid-size or full-size vehicle--on top of a creek; 2) TV in the room could hardly pick up a signal. Ours picked up a vague signal of GMA; 3)No fridge so bring a cooler; 4) No restaurant or convenience store on-site. Perhaps it would be good for the business if owners offered home-cooked meals to their guests. Lutong bahay style but delivered to your room. The owners live in the resort, after all. I'm surprised they haven't thought of putting up a sari-sari store or carinderia on-site. That'd be extra income for them & added convenience to their guests; 5) The resort can really use some landscaping; rooms can be cleaned more; the water in the pond should be replaced or cleaned. My BOTTOMLINE is this: IF all you want is a place where you can sleep with airconditioning and parking and hot shower and nothing else, this resort can be good enough. BUT if you expect even just a little more than that, then you will be sorely disappointed and I suggest that you look for another place.
