Noise Levels: 2/5 Unfortunately, the hotel houses very noisy nightclubs, and the rooms are not soundproof. The music and chatter were clearly audible, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Light sleepers should beware. Cleanliness: 2.5/5 Cleanliness was a letdown. While the room wasn’t filthy, it wasn’t as clean as expected. Dust in corners and a less-than-spotless bathroom indicated a lack of thorough cleaning. Staff: 4/5 The staff were a highlight—friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made check-in smooth and were always available to assist with requests. Overall: 3/5 GSS Palace Hotel has a great location and good staff, but the noise and cleanliness issues are significant drawbacks. It’s noisy because of the club, however i sleep late anyhow. Played some white noise on Calm and i managed to sleep well. Its clean enough tbh. No roaches i saw. Bed shower etc all is very comfortable. The furniture maybe is dated and some tiles in the shower could do with a bit of bleach to remove black spot…but i was happy enough. Internet also just OK (8-10mbs). Abra station, cheep good food, super lively location made it worth it. If you have low expectations like i had, you’ll enjoy.
First of all, I would like to submit my review because I know that it will help other travelers like me. Money wise, this is a budget friendly hotel. I stayed here for a week and the room is decent for the amount I paid. The room itself is comfortable, got everything I need there. A heater, hair dryer and a fridge are available in the room plus a television which I did not use. The area itself is safe, there are just so pushy vendors outside but the major takeaway is that it is just 100meters away from Baniyas Metro Station and you can roam around Dubai so conveniently. You can found supermarket, McDonalds, KFC and all the things you need just around the corner. I highly recommend this place if you want to explore Old City and New City of Dubai. Suggestion: There are cockroaches inside my room. It does not bother me but I think some guest might not want it. Still, 5 out of 5 stars for me

This was a good hotel for short stays with good location. However the rooms are not kept clean are the one I was staying at had a dirty broken fridge, a bathroom tap which was dislodged, stain marks on the carpet and whilst there was a menu card in the room, only limited items were available. The hotel room balcony, though not accessible, is there but extremely dirty and it appeared it had not been cleaned in months!! On the day of departure a wake-up call was requested but that call never came through, which caused great concern as I had an international flight to catch. I think complacency may the issue with the hotel. If their service standards and maintainance and price improved then it will become a good option.
