Efficient”
The room is clean. Bathroom is not so big but it is good that the shower and the toilet have division so it will not get wet if you shower . They provide toothbrush, shampoo and showergel only. They only clean the room every other day even if you request for make up room. But, they will replace the towels daily upon request. For location, you have to walk 10 mins to go to the center. The staff is very accommodating. They only provide 2 water bottles daily, but they have water filling station, so it's good to bring your own tumbler. Overall experience is good. Definitely will book this hotel when I visit Bacolod again.

The place is near everything (banks, palengke, grocery, inasal stores, and SM). The only con is they only make up rooms every other day. Staffs are helpful and kind.

City of Smiles”
The city is coined to be the City of Smiles. The hotel should educate their front desk staff to be so. I don’t find them friendly. Helpful enough but not friendly. Overall though the hotel is a great stay. Housekeeping and restaurant staff are very good!

Good location and nothing else”
Wifi got cut off on the floor from the weekend and was never restored for the 4 remaining days that I have stayed since. Restaurant serves cold buffet breakfast that is quite pricey.

Some amenities need fixing”
The place is perfect, near the mall and some places to buy treats. The price is good given the offerings the have. The staff are accommodating and the food is great. The only downside is that probably only on my room, 206. But some of the water utilities need fixing. The knob in the shower controlling where the water should pass is not working resulting to wasted water in the faucet. The toilet flush locks upon pressing resulting to even more wasted water.

Not what it used to be!”
This hotel used to be a solid 4 star 3-4 years ago. It has slipped to a 2-3 star hotel in that time period!

water problems and breakfast selection left a lot to be desired”
on several days the water wasn't working properly. Sometimes it was brown and other times there was no water pressure

Won’t recommend this place. ”
I’m disappointed. I used to like this hotel but it seemed the facility isnt well maintained. The bathroom’s moldy , the bed sheets is stained. For the price I paid, I’m expecting the best service and facility but not even close.

Acceptable”
unlike the other hotels ive been on through this app, whenever they give out the option of choosing between a double size bed or 2 single beds, they make it a priority to provide whats being asked by the customer. upon checking in, my partner and I had to sleep in separate beds. to make it even more worse, their AC was too damn old and too damn loud that we couldn't even sleep at all. the place looks very old. I wish they would be more truthful towards how they advertise the place as an example are the photos which look absolutely deceiving. when we checked out early and didn't bother continuing the next night stay the staff at the front counter didn't even bother to ask why we wished to leave the place earlier than the specific booked stay length. the food was cold and just poorly placed as we had our breakfast. so many things wrong with our stay there. overall unhappy with the 2 nights booking. wasted money.

We had a great sleep and rest with GT hotel.”
Our 4 days and 3 nights stay with Bacolod is very memorable. After having a whole day activities we've got a good night sleep and rest at GT Hotel. Since we are into business internet connection is very important to us to get in touch with our clients, GT Hotel never fail to provided us so. Not only that, they even gave us discount for our visitors breakfast buffet. With the price it is really a best buy. We will surely stay again with GT Hotel when we visit Bacolod in the future.

Clean and new”
I like this hotel. The sheets and towels were clean and I think this is because the hotel is new. I hope they can maintain this so they'd be better than the other 3-star or even 4-star hotels in Bacolod. I always check the towels! I'm generally impressed. They have a bidet, which is not common in the Philippines. I'm always happily surprised when I see one. The maximum water temperature of the hot shower was not hot enough. It was the right temperature for me but I know there might be people who prefer a scalding hot shower. The lobby was nice and it was modern. I arrived at around 1:30pm but I was made to wait until close to 2pm before they could check me in - I understand this but this is not the usual practice of hotels in the Philippines, most would just accommodate you as soon as your room was available. I just noticed there was no visible security personnel in the middle of the night, but I hope there was one around. The walls were pretty thin. I can hear the tv on the next room, the banging of the doors in all the rooms in the hallway and the housekeeping people. There was complimentary water and coffee - something not very common in hotels in Bacolod. I didn't get to eat the breakfast because I woke up late. I would recommend this hotel. Cheaper, better and cleaner than most.

A very pleasant hotel to stay at”
My initial impression was very positive as I checked in and was taken to my room for a two week stay. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed, and importantly a fridge for 'snacks' to be stored safely. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the hotel staff, and their willingness was appreciated. Breakfast was included in my tariff, and each morning there was a different selection of foods and an option for a cooked egg addition - fried, omelette, scrambled.. The only downside was when following a large breakfast group of guests without the dishes being replenished by kitchen staff. Eventually they would wake up and cook more food, but the initiative seemed lacking to anticipate the need for more food before it ran out. Overall, it was this lack of attention to detail that prevented me from giving GT a top rating - it is the little things that can leave a big impression. I would stay here if I visit Bacolod again, and would hope that by then they would have improved their already high standard by the provision of toothpicks on the dining tables; some useful information or map of nearly banks, etc. for guests; and why oh why don't they supply decent toilet tissue instead of the cheap thin rubbish put in the bathroom? It's cheap to buy but twice the quantity is used in order to protect the person! Finally the internet. No LAN connection in the rooms is a negative. The wi-fi caused me problems as passwords didn't always last the 24 hours intended. Also the generally poor standard of internet services and connection speed in the Philippines is a problem - really Third World performance that makes a mockery of the 'More fun in the Philippines' slogan that visitors are seduced by. As of September 1, 2014 the tariff has been increased, according to a notice on the reception desk. This may affect the 'value for money' factor when reviewing this hotel from that date onward.

Great location”
I chose GT hotel because it was just one block away from the main location I was visiting in Bacolod, and it seemed to be pretty much in the middle of everything else important in Bacolod - like the SM mall, and the famed Lacson St (for foodies). I was a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the washroom. It's not a dump by any means, but it just did not seem to me to fit the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel and room, and certainly the price I paid for a night's stay. Nevertheless, the staff were great, the breakfast was amazing, and overall I was very happy to have stayed there.

Beyond Excellent Hospitality!”
We went to Bacolod to watch a concert, but it was cancelled beforehand. We decided to push thru since hotel and plane fare were not refundable. It was a disappointment but our stay in GT Hotel made it worthy! All staff are really friendly. They even helped us when we told then where we are going. Will definitely stay here again once I go back to Bacolod :)

Great little hotel, amazing value”
Was in Bacolod for a couple of days to attend a wedding. Booked this hotel because we didn't want to spend so much for such a short period of time. GT is great value. Rooms were the usual size, but great bed, really clean bathrooms, airconditioning that worked well. Staff accommodated our very early check-in and slightly late check-out at no additional cost. Room service was pretty good. Fast and affordable. Hotel itself isn't on Lacson St. (that's the main road), but it's a five minute tricycle ride away, so it doesn't really matter.
