enjoyable, sociable and comfortable ”

My friend and I stayed here for three nights and were very comfortable. The hostel is not large but still felt spacious enough to be social in the communal area. It hostel is kept very clean and has everything you need, although there is only one shower, this did not prove to be a problem and both my friend and I were able to shower when we needed. My friend and I came away from our time in Asahikawa having really enjoyed our time here and much preferred it to our hotel stays as this was more fun and social. During our last night it was the eve of my friends birthday and when the owners learnt of this they went and got a cake so that we could celebrate, a really lovely touch. nothing appeared to be too much trouble and the owners are very happy to accommodate and get to know their guests. I needed to re-book a hotel reservation and was bale to use there phone line for a considerable time, the owners even offered to handle any Japanese translation if needed. My friend and I left feeling happy we had the time there, feeling that it had enhanced our trip. I would definitely return to the Asahikawa guest house should I travel to Hokkaido again.

Fun, Interesting”

The stay was wonderful! Enjoyed the stay, the staff were very kind and friendly and will go their way to encourage the guests to talk and make friends. The other guests were also very friendly. The location is good, close to Asahikawa JR Station, although the place was a little hard to find for the first time. Love how the owners constantly took photos of us and upload them onto Facebook for easy access.

Best Hostel Experience”

The owner really made sure that we were taken care of. We were lucky to be able to be in Asahikawa in time for a festival and the couple owning the hostel told us that we can see it. They translated the announcement and poster from Japanese to English and really looked forward to us having a good time. It was my first time to stay at a hostel and I think it would be hard to beat this one. The rooms had an indie vibe, very homey and the owner Yukari was motherly. They have flags per each country and if you don't find yours, they will print it out for you.

Very helpful staff and good bed dorms.”

We stay in 4 beds dorm. The location was great, close to train station, however, the hostel sign was small and very difficult to find especially at night. We arrived there around 10pm and walk around to find the hostel entrance. Finally we got help from the other hotel around and got there. Inside, the decoration was cool. It was backpacker style showing some international feeling. Staff was very friendly and helpful about information. The shower was shared between 3 rooms (I guess 12 beds in total) but at the time we stayed, the hostel was not full. So we don't have problem with shower room. No toiletries in the shower room but we brought our owns so no problem for us. Bed was comfortable and have room to put our bags on the bed. The blanket was very soft like Japanese Futon. We loved it. The next day we left our luggage and go travel in the city. They allowed us to leave baggage and got them back at night time. We loved this place and would recommend to stay here again.

Hostel staff are friendly and helpful, help us to carry the heavy luggage up and down. Simple hostel, slightly packed. only one shower room for all the guest. Free wifi.

We were only there for a one night transit, so we had nO plans for this city. Was very grateful to the staff for introducing us to the attractions, enabling the lucky us to catch a japanese festival, and helping us liaise and book our next accoms at shiretoko. Very grateful for their assistance. Their friendliness brightened our stay there. Thanks!

從旭川車站走路到民宿大約要走15-20分鐘，座落於買物公園上，吃飯、購物頗方便！老闆和老闆娘人不錯，請的工讀生會講英文及中文;民宿空間非常小，不過設備非常齊全，也蠻乾淨！只不過因為整間民宿的空間較小，所以隔音差，房客的聲音容易彼此影響！

工作人員友善,但不太會講英語,溝通有點困難.房間空氣不太好.有些事情(馬桶座消毒劑)反應了也無效.對背包客來講還算個不錯的選擇.
