Best hotels & accommodations in Cebu

I booked this hotel because of it’s beautiful sea and sunset view. Quite romantic! Our room was clean and smells good! Bed was comfortable. A/C was ok. They had ceiling fan as well. WiFi was working fine! Bathroom was ok, not the best, but it’s clean. Hot water temperature could be improved, but it’s working. Staff are helpful and polite. They constantly sweep the f...

M Citi Suites is located along Llorente street, an intersection just before reaching Fuente osmena (if you're coming from Jones' Capitol. It is new, well equipped, has fast service and even faster internet in the room (mine was at the 4th floor), very clean, huge spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, a restaurant with surprisingly delicious food. During weeke...

We were disappointed that the pool was on construction when we stayed here. It was one of the reasons why we booked this place. Food is okay, not a lot of choices. I would actually still recommend this place though because it is one of the most affordable places in mactan and the rooms are actually great.

I had attended a party at Oakridge Pavilion and this is the closest hotel I could book. Very affordable and right in front of Jollibee (open 24hours)which was where I got our meals when my kids got hungry. Near Oakridge where Rustan’s Fresh is located. A few minutes away from J Center Mall where I got my dress for the night from. Front desk was not too friendly though...

The best night ever in my Philippines tour for last 2 weeks. If you love natures, this definitely is your-must-stay in Oslob area. Although No More treehouses or rooms available, but I have to say that no regret at all to decide booking and staying the only TENT available here for my night. Make sure u book the queen bed for the tent. Don't worry, you won't feel any ho...

Our stay was awesome! We booked a couple of hours before our check-in and the transaction was hassle free. We arrived very late in the evening but ate Lyn still managed to crack a few jokes. She's very friendly and accommodating which made our stay great. She even let us extend for 4 hours more, free of charge. And the room? I can say that my friend and I were both sur...

From Cebu City proper, you will need to spend more than 3 hours on the road via South Bus Terminal to reach the location. They are situated along the highway and it's visible from the road, so you may ask the driver to drop you off to the Hotel because they are very much aware on the location. The hotel has basic ammenities to use, and room rates are affordable. It is...

Staff was attentive, friendly, and service was quick. The location of this place it perfect. Near everything but far enough away from the main road so that it's very quiet. Only possible improvement would be more flavorful or creative food options for dinner. The breakfast, however was excellent and you can have breakfast any time of day. Great brewed coffee and omelet...

Staying at Isyan Beach House is almost like staying in a Homestay. It is the perfect place for travelers who don't want to spend much on accommodation, but still want privacy, comfort, cleanliness and meeting friendly people. The staff is amazing and I felt very welcome in the house (I guess that's the true Filipino hospitality)! It was surely one of the highlights of ...

Great Place to stay with good hospitality services. We were arriving late at night on the first day.To our surprise the staff and owner waited for our arrival and welcome us. The next day, they provide service arrangement to whale watching site and Tumalog Falls. While we were at Whale watching, the staffs here help us to take care of our belongings. After the visit, the...

Great place the staff are very friendly and helpful! its not very close to the whaleshark and busy street which is for me is good bec its not very far either! overall the stay was really good! the view from room H and I is the best! Try to book those 2 rooms if ever, its facing the sea which is really relaxing!

Of the many Hotels I have stayed in during my visits to the Philippines I would rate Travelbee to be one of the best, They were very well priced (under 900 pesos, breakfast included) centrally located making easy access to the city and mountains. a Jeepney pickup point was only 5 min walk to the corner where you could also hire a scooter from ZG Rent a motorbike from ...

Our third visit to this place with its lovely views. The staff go out of their way to please without being intrusive. The owners clearly see the venture as more than simply a money-generating venture. The only reason four four stars rather than five on two criteria is that internet is poor in some areas, places to eat out require a short jeepney/motorcycle ride and se...

I accidentally booked the same room twice because the Agoda app crashed, and my first booking did not show up before I booked it again once I re-opened the app. I mentioned this to the lady at the desk at check in and she told me there was nothing she could do and told me I would have to call Agoda. I did, and Agoda had to request a refund from them on my behalf, which...

Prior to Emok's we were booked at Le village hostel , since we couldn't extend our stay and private rooms in Panagsama were fully booked and seems to be pricey, ive decided to book in Emoks since the reviews arent that bad. They helped us with our bags, when the staff saw us immediately. Rusty made sure that we have the towels, soap and gave us the wifi password...

I stayed in this hotel for 28 days. The staffs were very kind. The room was very clean and there were no insects such as cockroaches and mosquitos. I enjoyed breakfast every morning. Wi-fi was very strong and it was available in both the lobby and my room. At the first time, I could not use Wifi in my room due to my computer problem. The owner and the staffs were cordi...

Villa Marquez is a very nice place to stay at while you’re in Camotes. Aside from being very affordable, the owners (Thomas & Marjorie) are very attentive to their guests & always make it a point to please them. The breakfast is better than some 4-star hotels in Cebu, Manila, & other cities abroad. In the future, when the swimming pool will be built & some things lik...

Guys weren’t ready for my arrival even though I arrived late night. Hostels surrounding is full of rubbish. Upgraded my room though for a private and room was clean. No toilet paper or towel provided. Also no information on arrival. Not sure whether WiFi available there. Bathroom was not very clean. Had an issue in the morning and staff wasn’t really helpful. Other gue...

we love the place, the room we booked *deluxe* was beyond our expectation from the picture. it's really clean and doesnt look like a cheap room. it's really worth the money. when we arrived there on the 1st night, no store nor place to eat that opened and they ordered our dinner from other barangay. breakfast was good, we paid 100 pesos per portion and we got 2 sunny s...

The mom of the owner was very accommodating. Cebu branch was awesome. It's just that, the one in Oslob called ''Sharky's'' was too basic. Metal roof, and concrete floor. They arranged our trip to Canyoneering and was disappointed because she didn't explain that canyoneering has half day and full day. Paid full day for the price of half day and when confronted, she argu...

We book oceanview room. It is quiet. Value for money. Friendly staff. My friend stayed in family room which is facing the road. I can see it maybe noisy when the car pass by. Overall, it is the best place to chase waterfalls in south cebu. Best value for the money.

I paid a premium during my stay during Sinulog, so this review might be a bit impartial. However, even for a competitive rate, I would think twice about staying here again. So many other hotels in the area that are in the sub $20-$25 rates that are more upgraded with more amenities. The hotel is small and everything was quite dated. Bathrooms were not the best, bed...

This place really feels like home, even if you're only around for one night. There is a ton of information on the best ways to get around Cebu and if you still have questions Angel is always happy to help. I liked it so much I came back for a few more nights near the end of my trip!

The place is a little far from the main coastal beach place but is walking distance. If you are looking for a beach front, this is not your kind of accommodation. As per the owner, they just recently acquired the property from a foreigner who sold the property. So, expect the place is old and musky. Facilities are at bay next to nothing. The owner's are kind enou...

If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep and a shed, this will be a great place. All of your basic needs will be provided. However, if you are looking for a staycation, this is not a place for you. this is perfect for budget friendly traveller and solo backpackers.

The best place we ever stayed, me and my partner are travelers and adventurer and We’ve been to a lot of hotels but this one is far from every place We’ve stayed the care taker and her husband is so accommodating and so kind, the room was so big and so clean worth every penny. It’s like a second home we ended up staying 10 days we supposed to leave after 1 night but w...

Just infront of Alona beach. We are a group of 8. Family room has 8 beds, so the best place to stay with friends. Also, the staff were so kind. We enjoyed island hopping after checking out, but they allowed us to leave our luggage in the room and let us use the shower. This is the best place to stay. Wifi worked without any problems. Cold shower, but no problems.

Nice resort is both sides of road.one is on the water edge. Other side has a small hardware store on its grounds.also cooking facilities. Billiard tables. Small shops to get your needs.far from whale watching and the 10 minute is by car. Had a blackout but staff gave us torches to use. Swim in water was nice but watch out for crown of thorns in the water. With the whal...

* The description says the resort is in the municipality of Dalaguete, but that is on the other, eastern side of the island. It is actually located in the municipality of Ginatilan, on the west side of Cebu Island. * The location and the sign out front say “Sunset Beach” but there is no beach. It is a rocky shore over which the owners have built a high cement retaining...

What a great stay right on the ocean with in the beautiful Camotes islands!! The owner Mike and his lovely wife are extremely friendly, wonderful hosts, and will do anything to make their guests comfortable and happy. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We stayed in one of the larger rooms and would definitely recommend reserving the top floor overlooking the...

Strongly recommended. The cheapest around Oslob, nearby Whale Sharks Watchin', Tumolog Waterfalls. Take Ceres Yellow Bus from Cebu South Terminal to Lugande. Ask the bus driver to stop you by the road. They knew where Luzmin BH is, even at night. It's just beside the road on the way to Oslob. Friendly Mdm Luzmin. Clean room.
5-star hotels in Cebu

i booked for a twin bed they should have additional discription of the room accomodoation... the pad is like a capsule... no individual a/c, tables, tv, restrroom, chairs, and the matress is on the floor. not ideal for families, but if you are a solo backpacker and would only stay for a night to catch an early flight from mactan-cebu airport you can stay here but th...
Traveler impressions of Cebu
Great City to spend time with your vacation, So much history, people are friendly, great food and very affordable.
Cebu City has all the convenience any tourist would like to avail. Very friendly, helpful people. It has a lot of cultural, historical, natural places to visit.
What is unique about Cebu City is the many historical places. However, I was not impress with the unfriendliness of the people.
To visit the tourist areas - its a long drive to say pier 1 to get a ferry to bohol island or a long van ride to water falls or island hopping and traffic is a nightmare if you dont leave the hotel before 6.
If you are a tourist, this is the best place for several water activities. Go to Oslob, Cebu before noon to experience swimming with whale sharks.
lots of things to do especially sinulog season. but, the place is beginning to be like manila....traffic traffic and traffic everywhere
Not a holiday destination unless your hotel has all the facilities you need or you're researching this country of rich and poor contrast.
Steeped in Culture. Harold's Hotel was by far the best Hotel. Food Service Impeccable. TJS Bar and Grill was one of the best places to kick back and Relax.
"Queen city of the South"....this is THE spot for basing yourself for travel around the Visayas....many islands and beaches to visit from here and much better than Manila unless viisiting Philippines for business.
Excellent restaurants and shopping possibilities. My favourite sight seein spot is the Taoist temple in Beverly Hills
Friendly people and honest cabbies. The city is no dirtier than any other Philippine city. There are so many beautiful women.
Modern yet very laid back. Everything is near (beaches, mountains, shopping districts) People are friendly
A nice City with an abundance of Heritage and Spiritual History. But to fully enjoy the area traveller's need to explore outside the city centre and enjoy the outer areas and seaside towns such as Oslob and kasawan Falls.
Cebu City is a fun place for tourists. If you haven't tried it, eat lechon (whole roasted pig with crunchy skin)go to Zubuchon or Rico's.
Traffic jam during day time especially to/from Mactan airport to Cebu city center. Perhaps better to stay in Mactan rather than Cebu city.
Beautiful city. Its clean and the people are very friendly especially the taxi drivers are God fearing people.
Cebu City is totally a compact city. You may have variable interests to come and visit the city because it basically offers a budget or affordable tourist can choose upon.
Excellent to visit directly and not to land in Manila due to poor airport security. Cebu and Davao still a safe and friendly cities
I did not find Cebu to be that great. But that may be from my lack of itinerary. Cebu has a few famous landmarks, such as "Magellan's Cross", Santo Nino Church and Fort San Pedro, but that wasn't enough to merit my stay there.
A LARGE DIVERSE CITY WITH A LOT OF POVERTY in abundance yet still people put ona smile and show they are happy .
Mainly stayed to see the lifestyle and experience atmosphere. There isnt that much to see in the city.
It's a great city that offers city, mountain and beach lifestyles. It also has a rich cultural and religious histories that they were able to preserve despite the rapid urbanization and modern living.
A city which forces you to wake up real early. Else your life is spent crawling through the traffic. Friendly and smiling folks.
airport to ceby downtown, or downtown back to airport, can take white taxi, reasoanble fee without too much bargaining.
Cebu si second largest city in Philippine, but comparing with Manila, is much nicer, much cleaner & less crowded, should stayed here for more few days.
the blackouts were a disaster. the restaurants were so hot, you would lose your appetite. the people are not so familiar with where the cebu city hall was located.
Get a motorcycle with a local and go around the see all the sights. It's much more safe than Jepneys, doesn't make you a target for pickpocketers and hagglers.
It's better to exchange foreign currency at places near Osmena Circle, rather than airport and hotels, considering the rate.
Come and visit phillipines is a good choice for relaxation and filipino are very friendly hospitable and they always wear there smiles.
This is my 2nd trip to Cebu and I will continue to come here because its a place where you can see the old and new merge into 1 dynamic City.
