Micro Hotel

"Nice, clean and modern “mini” hotel. Individual rooms are small as is standard for Hong Kong. Location is excellent, being placed right on Nathan Rd and next to Temple St markets. Room had a comfy bed and sheet, good hot shower and enough space under bed for luggage. Fast Wi-Fi and friendly owners. Would definitely stay again for the price. "

Sydney Hostel

"1.) Location and staff The location of this hostel is excellent, steps away from the MTR and few hundred meters away from the ferry to Central. The staff are nice and hospitable enough to show us the room. 2.) Comfort First of all, understand that this is Hong Kong:- floor area is a scarcity and very expensive in this country. The room that i experienced was very small (6' x 12' = 72 sq ft). This includes the bathroom and toilet as well. Sheets was stained slightly with unknown brown substance with the visible hair on pillow case. The pictures are deceiving. If you are looking for a big and luxurious room then get ready with a bigger hotel budget because this is HONG KONG and nothing is cheap especially real estate! This is a budget hostel for the ones who are just looking for a space to sleep. 3.) Chungking Mansion Google this place where the hostel is located and you will find out that it consists of 5 blocks (Block A to Block E). The name sounds glamorous but as mentioned in other reviews, there are a lot of people on the Ground floor trying to sell you things. Although saying that, they are harmless and just doing their job. So if you are expecting a grand reception area with a bell boy and a concierge, you are better off to be looking somewhere else. 4.) Food/Dining Indian/Pakistani food available on the Ground Level. Visit Hong Kong to experience Indian and Pakistani food, why not eyh? A little adventure on the palate. 5.) Value for money Only stay here if you are on your own, on a tight budget or backpacking. Definitely not a place to impress your family/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiance/in-laws/VIP/etc."

Cebu Hotel

"If you're looking to budget so you can shop more, this is an ideal place. The area is within access to almost anything and a walk away from the Ocean Terminal! Thank you to Roy who was more than kind and accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. This particular area (not the hotel!) due to high volume of tourists and late night drinkers may not be ideal for small children but like anywhere else, be aware of your surroundings. Individuals may rant that this hotel has very tiny rooms, but almost all budget type accommodations in Hong Kong are the same. The difference with this mini hotel was in the way we were treated by management, which indeed was very pleasant. The walk from the 16th to 17th floor is very short but I didn't note any access for persons with disabilities. The room was comfortable, secure, well maintained, sheets and towels were fresh. Again, you get what you pay for and Hong Kong is an expensive place for most of us. I can check in a four star ho"

Seasons Hotel
Tsim Sha Tsui,Hong Kong - View on map
"The hotel is composed of two floors (4/F and 5/F) of a run-down building. Do not be fooled by the G/F and the elevator on the way up as it is old, musky and a bit scary. Once you reach the hotel, you will be pleasantly surprised! The hotel smelled good and was spick and span! Not to mention, the front desk staff was good in English and was friendly. Nothing beats the location of the hotel. It has a 7-Eleven beside it and right in front is the famous Michelin-starred Cheung Hing Kee Shanghai Pan-Fried Buns (the truffle ones are to die for). A few blocks away are the busy Canton and Nathan Roads, hence the proximity to the TST Station of the MTR, the Star Ferry to Hong Kong Island or the ferry to Macau and/or Mainland China. As for the room, you get what you pay for. I previously thought that the smallest hotel rooms were in Tokyo, but this might be the record-holder for the smallest hotel room that I have ever stayed at. I booked a Double Room even though I was a solo traveller, and perhaps it was a wise decision. I highly doubt that the Double Room will fit two people! Nevertheless, the room had everything I needed--a refrigerator, kettle, telephone, television, hair-dryer, towels, toiletries, slippers and even a safe. Not bad for the price! And did I mention that everything was clean? All in all, this hotel deserves good ratings. Indeed, it is small and the entrance might scare travelers. But the hotel is cheap, clean and the location is perfect to explore Hong Kong."

Canada Hotel

"The room was very small, with two very narrow single beds and the luggage stored underneath them. But in Hong Kong at this price all rooms are small and this was slightly larger than other places we have stayed. What made this place good was it's spotlessly clean room and it's very comfortable (small) beds. Add this to the excellent location and you are onto a winner with this place if you can actually get any availability. On the downside, the lifts are very slow, but that is Chungking mansions problem and not the fault of the guest house. This is a good place to stay."
