Best hotels & accommodations in Hong Kong

I had a pleasurable stay at Comfort. It's very clean; in fact, it's cleaned every day and linens are changed every day. The room is small but just enough for me as a solo traveller. WiFi is very fast. It has an excellent location too in Tsim Sha Tsui. Only a minute walk to MTR station, and has interesting attractions nearby. The Filipina staff, Marissa, will give you d...

In Hong Kong my partner and I kept very busy seeing the city so having accomation in a convinient location was important for us. The Cosmic geust house was ideal for this as it is located in the mirander mansion which is adjacent to the Tsim Sha Tsui train station which can take you anywhere in the city. The Tsim Sha Tsui train station is also 2 stops from Mong Kok whi...

The location of the hotel is very near the subway station (about 1 mins from the 2A exit) The staff is also friendly, they guided us at the elevator when we arrived, and also kindly answer our question about the airport bus when we leave. The room we stay was clean, water and coffee is also offered. Sometimes the noice from other room can be heard, but it was ...

Pearl guesthouse is a very nice budget hotel! The rooms are clean. The hotel will also provide you with your basic needs such as water dispenser, microwave oven, hot water, hair dryer, unlimited shampoo and soap liquid, volt and has high-speed internet. The staff (especially Tony) are also very accommodating and has good english! There are also some filipino staff. Thi...

The room was small, as any hostel in Hong Kong is, but this was worth the price since it was near the Tsim Sha Tsui railway station. Surrounding the area are shops, restsurants and food stalls. Walking distance from the Avenue of the Stars, 1 station away from Temple Street Market. Washroom is small as well but is clean and has a shower heater. There was no bidet but t...

It was our first time to travel in Hong Kong. and was really impressed with this hostel. The place itself was basic with 2 single beds, an AC, hot/cold shower, free soap/shampoo. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They have free potable hot water at the lobby. Just 1 block away from the Mongkok MTR (Take Exit D2). Near 7Eleven, street food stalls, Money exchange ...

We Booked the family room for 3 nights. The place is super clean, the staff is very helpful and nice, kept entertained and told us all the useful information eventhought we did the check in at 3am. The wifi connection is good. The location is very convenient, near tsim sha tsui station and eateries. The place is has a narrow corridor but normal for Hong Kong standard. ...

This isn't a hotel! So I wasnt expecting much, especially becoz many friends mention that the mansion is not exactly the best building in the area. But Tom's exceeds my expectation. I've been travelling to many places, Tom's surely is one of the cleanest. If you stay here and wanting to complain, let me remind you again: this isn't a hotel! It's a guest house, in the m...

I like many others went to Hong Kong to get a visa. I'd overstayed by 1 day and I to make the necessary trip. Leaning from experience, rooming in a far away location isn't smart. This location is one stop from Admiralty station, where the Lippo tower is. I didn't have to share a room, so I had privacy, my own bathroom with decent space (when considering Hong Kong... r...

Guys, this is an awesome deal. As you know this and other hotels in Hong Kong are pretty small in size. However you must choose the one that has a good service, its clean, its at a good location and also the price. This is one of a kind! I havent met ANY other people so nice as these that I found there. I believe I met all of them during my 2-days stay, and they seemed...

The hotel is composed of two floors (4/F and 5/F) of a run-down building. Do not be fooled by the G/F and the elevator on the way up as it is old, musky and a bit scary. Once you reach the hotel, you will be pleasantly surprised! The hotel smelled good and was spick and span! Not to mention, the front desk staff was good in English and was friendly. Nothing beats the ...

Great stay at this place. Did not have a good 1st impression because the building itself looks a bit dingy inside. But the floors of the guest house itself were clean. Aircon and heater worked very well, room was snug and comfortable, water and adaptors were provided, location was the best, staff were polite and kind especially considering being polite and kind to stra...

And all of the places that we stayed here in Hong Kong at the hospital this was amongst the best of the worst customer services and facilities at the Oscars. Brothers to the Death your very kind and young lady that does not sending job. It was a great stay here and I have to say that anyone else they want to stay in there and hopeful heart bear needs to check this out....

strategically located about 10 minutes walk from the avenue of stars and star ferry terminal. do not judge the room from the outside. the building looked aged on the corridor and the surrounding neighbouring units, but the rooms were well renovated. although it is one of the smallest hotel room i have seen (almost the size of a parking lot and including a built in toil...

I stayed at Fortunate Guesthouse for a week. I was blown away by how great the staff was. Very friendly! And she was constantly changing the linens for me, and providing me with new towels, and in general keeping the place clean and tidy. I would often come back at night to find her cleaning the bathrooms or other facilities. Cheap with a good location - you can't get ...

We stayed at Legend's Guest House for 3 nights in their family room and it was a pleasant experience. To reach Harilela Mansion where this guest house is located, just need to take the A21 bus from the airport and get off at stop No13 (Cameron Road). The place is just across the road. The rooms were cleaned everyday including giving out of fresh towels after every clea...

The Australian is like any other budget hotel room in Hong Kong - small ~ however it offers something the others don't! Cleanliness, comfort and security. The staff aren't always friendly, however if you smile a lot and make a few nice comments while checking in they seem to lighten up. In the room is excelent hot water!! A working AC (however it was a little noisy) a...

Sing Yuet Hostel is one of the cheapest hostel near the central of Hong Kong. With the night markets (Ladies' Market, Fa Yuen Street etc.) just below the hostel and the hostel being a stone throw's away from the Mong Kok MTR, you could hardly find any other hostels with better location at this price range. Even though it is close to the night market, the room doesn't f...

The stay in this hotel is good. Basically it is a budget hostel and it allows you to stay with cheaper price compared to other 3 to 4 stars hotel in Hong Kong. The hotel is very clean and the security system is consider not bad. Fast internet is another good thing to share. Besides, the hostel is centrally located at Tsim Sha Tsui where we can access to anywhere via th...

FIRST THING, IT'S HONG KONG, ALL ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL, OKAY?! Getting to the accommodation from the airport was very easy. There is a direct bus that stops just outside, and if you cross the road, the same number bus will take you back to the airport The staff were friendly and spoke English well. I booked and was given a single room. The owners have a few different ...

I wasn't sure what to expect at first, as Mirador Mansion seems to be a former apartment building that was converted into several hostels on each floor. You'll also see some tailoring shops and a boxing gym, so it's a mish mash of things in this building. Tai Wah itself is secure with keypad access from the main hallway, plus a modern key card access to each room. Room...

Asia Inn is one of the most conveniently located Inns I've stayed in Hong Kong. I love the fact that going to HK from TST via Ferry was very fast and very easy. Just a lite warning though, if you're not that queezy about staying in a lplace with a lot of Indians and Africans, this is your digs. Asia Inn is very easy to find, just hop on an A21 bus from the airport a...

We (an American couple in our late 30s) arrived late due to a travel delay for our two night stay. I emailed to let them know, and Shirley quickly responded to say they would wait for us. This is typically an un-staffed guest house type facility, just 8 rooms on the 8th floor of a very conveniently located building. The room was very clean and comfortable and the wifi ...

My friend and I stayed 5 days 4 nights in a basic double room. The bed/pillows/blanket were a pleasant surprise--clean and soft. The room was cleaned (blankets folded, trash taken out, towels replaced) daily. The bathroom was a combined toilet/sink/shower area and was decently clean. Note that towels and flip-flops are provided. Soap was available but no shampoo or hai...

I was just over-nighting on my way to Mainland China and Dhillon Hotel is in a good location for me as a way-station between the airport and the East Rail Line to China. The staff here are friendly and will help you out. One example: I was up in the middle of the night and needed a new battery for the mouse on my computer and one of the gentlemen at the front desk kind...

An honest review for a choosy traveller: First- the location is great because it is at the center of a tourists interests site. Although Jordan (near temple street) can also be an option because it just a few minutes walk away, the location of this this hotel is a lot closer to the harbour going to Macau, canton road for shopping and other attractions like the avenue ...

It was my first time to travel abroad and me and my colleague have limited budget hence we have to book in a cheaper place where we could stay for four days and three nights. We booked at Ashoka Hostel because based on my readings, they got good reviews and positive feedbacks from tourists who have been there. We weren’t wrong for checking-in at Ashoka. When we arri...

Hostel is located inside the famous Chunking mansion. Everyone in Hong Kong knows about this building. Near to metro right middle of city. It's a building with more than 50plus hostels ( infact 90percent of hostels in Agoda are inside this building ) shops, money exchange, restaurants are available downstairs. If you're aim is to stay at hotel all the time durin...

Hong Kong hotels most have very small rooms (except the expensive hotels), very small means the room size a bit bigger than the bed in it, this hotel in general in good and clean, stuff very helpful (Indian people), facilities all available in room, hotel very close to metro station and main Hong Kong markets, only disadvantage thing is the room size, and it's for sure...

It was my 3rd visit to Hong Kong and first time check-in to Delta Deluxe Hotel. It was an amazing experience staying in here. It was affordable housing at its best in HK. My first impression was the receptionist, chinese guy receiving with a warm welcome smile made me feel comfortable. I was really impressed with the kind of cleanliness they maintain the entire hotel a...

1.) Location and staff The location of this hostel is excellent, steps away from the MTR and few hundred meters away from the ferry to Central. The staff are nice and hospitable enough to show us the room. 2.) Comfort First of all, understand that this is Hong Kong:- floor area is a scarcity and very expensive in this country. The room that i experienced was very smal...

It was satisfying...though we were quite disturbed with so many stores and people at the lobby. This is a good place to stay when u visit HK. Very near to ocean park and museums and avenue of stars. Subways are just few steps away. I will recommend this place for sure.

Room are very clean convenient for shopping, transportation .Middle of hong kong so easy to go to anywhere in hong kong Specially good for branded and local Shopping all kind of food you can find near around the place excellent experience. Travelers staff helped me to book all my tickets for ocean park Disney land.

I have stayed for 12 days during my stay in Hong Kong. The hotel is very good with a good price. Located on 16th Floor in Chung Kin Mansion which is the prime locale in Tsim Sha Tsui, just a minute distance from Metro Rail, Bus Stop and a 5 Minutes walk from Ferry. This Hotel has Good Staff, Rooms are always clean, equipped with 24 Hours Hot Water and Air Conditioner. ...

When we checked in on that day, we saw the rooms we booked was really small and not even to put our luggage. Luckily the host, Andy was very kind to us and allowed us to change our 5 units of room to service apartment at Mongkok and Youmati and paid the taxi fare for us from New Lucky to the apartment and without additional services charge. we all stayed there happy fo...

When we travel, we always look for a place that gives as convenience because we travel to relax. Woodstock hotel is the best place I stayed in Hong Kong. The transportation is very accessible from Taxi to MTR or bus. And the restaurants also are very near like if you are looking for a fastfood, there's McDonalds and Jollibee. And if you want fine dining, Sky Lounge of ...

The location is superb! Lots of tourist spots (kowloon park, avenue of stars, Science museum, symphony of lights, etc.) near the area including fastfood, MTR station, ferry terminals and shopping centre. It is at 4th floor so a bit escape from the long lift queues. Also recommendable for travellers with tight budget. The staff named "Bilal" was so approachable and very ...

I stayed in this hotel so often already and wrote so many reviews in which I mentioned the top value for money, the free WiFi, the equipment of the rooms including fridge, and of course Sherie, John, Cristy, and the rest of the staff who let you feel welcomed throughout your stay. So now I would like to write a few things to avoid someone being disappointed when arrivi...

Well the person was indeed very nice and the location is good. It is pretty much staying in a closet on a bit of foam too short to fit a person.... in a building that is primarily an indian bizarre downstairs which is nice for food, but the building on every floor it seems has a rancid grease smell and cockroaches . Read up about where not to stay in hong kong and this...

The ground floor of Chungking Mansions is very crowded and full of merchants and stores, run mostly by South Asians. This area is a smorgasbord of people from all parts of the world, with a considerable number of Indians, Africans, as well as Caucasians and East Asians. The lifts were tiny, with room for up to only seven people, and the lines were long especially durin...

One thing you have to realize is that this is Hong Kong and real estate is super expensive, so being a couple backpacker it was hard to find an affordable price without compromising the quality of the hotel too much if you know what I mean. But I must say I lucked out with New London Hotel who apparently also owned Marigold hotel in another block. As you would expect i...

It was fine to me with this price. My room wasn't bad except it's very small which is normal for guesthouse in Hong Kong. They allowed me to leave luggages before I checked-in and after I checked-out. Location is very convenient in mid of Tsim Sha Tsui and a minute walk from exit N5 of MTR Tsim Sha Tsui. If you look for something cheap, here is ok.

I always stay at one of the hotels of Dhillon Group when I'm in Hong Kong, like the Days Hotel or Day and Night Hotel. The rooms are the best in the area among budget hotels, although small, but in a top condition and clean, and equipped with not only the basic things like air conditioning but also sometimes a fridge or safe, depending on the room, the hot water of the...

I booked a single room here, in Block A ChungKing Mansions, because I wanted to see what the dormitory rooms were like, seem quite ok. I had changed travel plans, and was able to stay a night earlier than booked; Li’s Chain Hostel has replied via Agoda, agreeing that, and the Check in was very easy. I was offered a reasonable priced upgrade to double en-suite room, whi...

The management of cebu hostel are very hospitable, accomodating and are happy people. Staff in Holland Guest house (now changed name to Philippine Hostel) were very accomodating and helpful. Cleanliness in the hostel was maintained. The hostel was centrally located...

We stayed in Crystal Hostel for four nights. The room was clean and well kept. It wasn't spacious, but who wants to hang out in a hostel when you're in Hong Kong ??? It's located in Chungking Mansions, which we loved, but I guess they may appear as dodgy to some. The hostel felt very safe though and everyone we met very friendly. The walk to star ferry and avenue of ...
Traveler impressions of Hong Kong
Always a delight to come to HKG. Getting around is so easy, the food is good everywhere. It's not cheap, but who cares? A few days in HKG will always guarantee a full recharge from stress.
Hong Kong is like any international city expensive and crowded. Expect to queue to eat in restaurants and the food isn't exactly world class.
Getting old but still has its charm. Plenty of shopping and dining options, eastern and western. Bit too much bustle for my taste and it reminds me too much of Chinese cities where everything's kinda dirty and old.
Note that people living in Hong Kong don't talk English that much. It is quite difficult to speak to them or get an answer and some may actually sound rude and act rude.
Hong Kong is a host of activities, dining places, shopping area, Chinese religious interests and many more.
hongkong is really the shopping mecca in asia. you will find various finds from the overly expensive to the the cheapest.
People not nice, especially the waitress and sales. HK is so crowded. Air not good. People seems like angry.
VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE GOOD TRANSPORT SYSTEM. IT WILL BE BETTER IF THERE IS A WIDER GAP AT ONE OF THE ENTRY/EXIT POINT AT MTR FOR BUDGET TRAVELLERS' LUGGAGES ACCESSIBILITY
A great place to really do "value for money" shopping with their street shopping like Temple Street and Mongkok as well as the huge discounts offered by select stores in the malls specially for shoes and RTW clothes.
Food, shopping, street walk, night life, attraction. Love this country so much, been visit here for 3 times.
I enjoyed a few hiking places, visited Victoria Peak and Victoria Harbour, stroked to the long walk path, Star Garden, and a mainly Taiwanese Publication book store.
Hong Kong have nice restaurants and snacks everywhere. The traffic is quite convenient that you can easily take the public bus or railway to scene spots.
love the nightmarket and food in Hongkong. People there were still rude in talking while we trying to bargain the price at nightmarket.
Hong Kong must be on your bucket list for countries to visit. The food is great, the surroundings are clean and the transportation system is awesome.
It's a cool city with lots to see and do. The MRT is superb, and easy to use. The humidity is heavy, so you need to shower regularly.
Hong Kong definitely deserves the title of world city of Asia, east meets west. From high end shopping to bargain shopping it has it all.
Staying on Hong Kong Island is my preferred area. Very good restaurants at Wan Chai Area and Central.
here you can find really old buildings, also good buildings with city lights around, you should put HK for your trip list.
Hong Kong had become a very crowded place with lots of arrogant and rude China nationals, hated it. We loves Hong Kong's food but might not be back because of the over populated issue.
As a Regular traveller to HK i still find the atmosphere fantastic and it really has something for every body.
Hong Kong is the New York of Asia - a city that never sleeps, has it all and can offer you great shopping, fantastic food and great experiences in a very smallarea.
The humans here are unbelievably rude. They will shout at you and give rude gestures. They will talk behind your backs as if you are dirt, service is really really horrible, ugly people on the inside.
easy to go, food and shopping are good. people in not friendly. Hotel is over price in high season and no CRM event I have been at BP intl for 4 times.
The people in hongkong is unfriendly, lack of people can speak english, even policeman can not undstand english,,its hard for you to find places,,i recommended to bri g your gps while in hongkong, the people who can help when you lost is staff in hotels.
There are impatient people everywhere around you, so you have no time to think and decide what to do next.
We like Hong Kong and will be back again get but will not be staying at the Royal View..we have stayed at the Panda Hotel before and wish we had went back there .
Hongkong is a small city.there's a lot of place to visit like Disneyland,Ocean Park,Big Budha and many more.
Came here 33 years ago. Did not have a good impression of the residents. This time, my husband and I very impressed with the kindness and helpfulness given to us.
Winter in HK is not cold, you can even wear Summer shorts there. But in case, bring a jacket with you if you are travelling in December- January.
Hong kong is a shopping and leisure paradise. Do visit places of attraction like the Disneyland, Ngong Ping, The peak and Ocean Park if you are a first time visitor of Hong Kong.
