Best hotels & accommodations in Osaka

Clean room and bathrooms. Allows Guest to check in (9AM in my case) before formal check in time. Can leave luggage until 11PM after check out. Free Jam & Bread breakfast. I have spacious 55M2 room w 6 single beds (not bunkbeds) and seating area and good internal bathroom and toilet, very suitable for family. Lift to serve all floors (some hostels & apartments in Japan ...

The location is very good. The hotel is located at 3rd floor while the subway station is just at the same spot, take a lift to underground and it will do. Got few restaurants nearby. The hotel is very new & clean. The staff, Ryota is very helpful. 1 bad thing is just whole floor consists of beds & rooms w/o partition wall, so if there is someone who is noisy the whole...

This was my first visit to Osaka and WOW, this hostel exceeded my expectations. If you take the shinkansen to Shin-Osaka, you can take the Midosuji line from Shin-Osaka to Namba and walk 2-3 blocks to the property. Osaka is a large city and the hostel is located in the Dotonbori area: full of shopping, food, entertainment, and nightlife. You literally step outside of t...

Excellent location, very close to subway exit and just one subway stop away from Namba (very popular shopping area). Very convenient, equipped with devices and tools you may need such as hairdryer, bowl, refrigerator, kettle, etc. Highly reasonable price compared to other hotels in Osaka. I would definitely stay at this place if I come back to Osaka again. :)

Unfortunately we weren't able to book the basic adjacent beds (we were not able to maximize the TV and computer since we were tired from all the trips we did in Osaka), but nonetheless the idea is excellent. Although we had to bring up the luggage by ourselves to third floor, the facilities are excellent and the book were cool! I was able to find English version of my ...

Senba hostel was one of the most cheapest among all of hostels and hotels in Osaka. However, all the services and amenities provided were better than any other accommodations. Staffs are really kind and devotional to guests. It is located near Nagahoribashi station and safe to go out for a walk at night.

Hello there! This is my first time travelling to Osaka, Japan. Checked in to this wonderful hostel. The female dorm (with queen size bed) is very well maintained, clean and comfortable with city view. Restroom is fully equipped, all that every girl needs:) Family Mart is right downstairs and Osaka is a city that never sleeps as most food outlet opens 24-hours! Railway...

Very Impressive! Nice officers with warm welcome, make me feel comfortable. The hostel is very near my fav store, Donki. I spent all night as a shopping time and walked back in the early morning. All I need is..It will be the best if you can find the place to install big lockers for a big luggage. Anyways, if I miss Osaka, It will always be Fuku Hostel.

All information is very clear from the host, great suronding area, there's 24h combini(convenience store) across the street so you dont need to worry find anything anytime. Nice + neat room and they provide towel+amenities. i went to USJ in the morning and stay at this hotel. loctaion is walking distance(10mins) to Shin osaka station (if you want to ride shinkansen to ...

I will definitely stay here when I visit Osaka again. The only concern is the staircases, you need to walk 2 levels up to the main entrance, and 1 or 2 levels up to your room. If you are a crazy shopper, it might not be a good idea for you to stay here. Also be aware that there is no lock for the rooms. The shower room and washroom are clean and fully equipped like...

I travel with two children, 1 year old and 7 years old. The staff is so helpful, whenever we confused which way to go, once you text the staff, she will reply immediately, the part I love the most is they do provide washing machine, I can do the laundry over there, it’s helps me to minimise the dirty laundry when I am leaving. The location is convenient to access most ...

The host is a nice guy,. I have stayed there for 4-days, the room is clean and spacious even I booked for 1-person. Also the original check-in time is 3-pm, but when the host knew that my flight arrived early in the morning, he is so kind that to allow me to have an early check-in. I have a wonderful trip this time in Osaka and I have no doubt to recommend my friends ...

Wonderful wonderful guesthouse! Shinya, Barbie and Kiyo are the bomb! Etsy is spot on in reinforcing guesthouse policies and good at what she does. Special shoutout to Kiyo for immediately taking action when I told him I was freezing in the room haha! All of them plus one lady who’s not on the wall are super good conversationalists in english, chill and warm. Free brea...

All the lovely staff at hostel Miyabi made my first solo and hostel experience one to remember. Facilities were exceptionally clean and accessible, staff were friendly and knoeledgable about Osaka's Culinary anf Tourist attractions, giving their own take on what they believed to be the best. Tak and Yuya went above and beyond consistently to ensure that each guest felt...

It was a nice choice for my schedule. I stayed in Osaka for a night after landing, this place is close to a station where I can take a Kintesu train to Nara - just within 5 min walking. Varied kinds of restaurants are around the area, you can still find food at late night (less choices after 11pm). The accommodation overall is worth it, clean and well equipped, room wa...

Easily accessible to Osaka Loop and Nankai line. Very near Shinsekai and Tennoji Zoo. We got the family room since we were traveling with my mom. The room was very spacious just like in the pictures. They only have one person available, but she's very friendly and accommodating. You can hear subtle noises coming from the other rooms, but we were lucky that they were no...

When i booked here, i wonder because this has a few review. But this is just my thought. This guest house is really nice and new building. There is a family mart in front of this house. From here to namna station is approximately 5minutes by walking, And to dotonbori is 15 minutes through namba station.( by walking) I'm impressed with staff. They make me comfortab...

OOKINI Hotels Yotsubashi Horie Apartment is the best Apartment/ Hotel I had stayed. there are several advantage: 1. Location - near to the exit 5 of 四ツ橋駅 2. Cleanliness - very tidy 3. Space - Large, accommodate up to 4 large baggage (25-inch and 30-inch), bathroom and toilet are separated (very good!!!) still have an weakness... Don't have microwave oven!!!!! it ...

Highly recommended. It has an extremely comfortable bed and a personal curtain that allows proper privacy. Staffs were really kind, nice and helpful. Location is the best. I don't usually leave a comment on accomodations but this place makes me do it. If you are looking for a place around 15usd in Osaka, this is the one you gotta choose.

The owner is very flexsibile if you want to stay one more day or two, you can talk to him. Great location near transportation and great price! Just be aware that there is a horse racing game place in front of the building, so you may see lot of guys who are bitting money around on Sunday. However, No Worries!!! It is Japan and VERY safe. I thought it would be nice to ...

I fell in love with Cocoroom the moment that I saw it online. The rate of the room was really cheap knowing that we are travelling to Japan. It will be a big help to spend less for accommodation. What I like about this hostel is that you know that this is a house of an artist wherein later on I realize that it's a family house. I love Okasan who always greet us Ohayou ...

1) The hostel is very clean. 2) There is a grocery infront 3) Walking distance to train station (very plus factor for us) and to Dotonbori and Osaka station (10-15 mins walk only) 4) Shared bathrooms were clean 5) Staff were nice 4) Breakfast was good for a hostel. Served hot! :) (5 types of bread, omu rice, free coffee and juices) Overall stay was excellent!

Our group of friends were very lucky to find this little hostal un Osaka for our first trip to Kansai Region. It's like a capsule hotel but rooms are divided in groups of bunkbed capsules. They are very cozy super comfortable and the facilities are very clean and convenient. We arrived pretty late but as long as you tell the owner he will be waiting for you to explain ...

This apartment is new, comfy, and have necessity u need: Kicthen, microwave oven, washing machine, balacony with hanger etc. not really spacious but enough for 2 persons. The light is bright in the room. Smooth check in and the host can be reached via whatsap with immediate response. He is helpful. Convenient location, quite close to train station Recommend!

+ve Points Cleanliness: The building is pretty new, so you can expect clean facilities from the bedrooms to the showers to the lounge area. The staff vacuum and clean the area daily. Location: I did not know how great the location was until i checked in. It is a 10 mins walk to Amerikamura and Dotonbori for shopping! Also this location is superb if you have a JR pa...

Great location, a 15 min walk from subway, 5 to 10min away from dohtombori, facilities are clean however door is noisy, somehow if you are a light sleeper this will wake you up. No matter how hard you try to close it gently, the door to the room will make sound and the lock of the door is making a lot of noise too. The staff are corteous except for this one woman at ...

This is my first time staying at a hostel. Surprisingly it was pleasant. Was looking for a cheap place within Tennoji area (need to catch early train to KIX airport). Spend less than 8 hours here, so really was just looking for a place to stay the night after a full day out in Osaka. We checked in at 10pm and out at 5am. Pros - although the facilities are shared - the...

This hostel is great! The location is convenient, since it is right next to Tennoji JR station. There are quite a few people staying long term in the hostel, which gives it a real sense of community. And best of all; the price is very affordable! If I ever go back to Osaka, this is where I will stay.

It was my first solo trip and first visit to Japan and I've already missed it! Staffs are very lovely and helpful! The first day I emailed due to unexpected flight delay, they let me delay check in time one hour later. There was a morning that I had bad mood (from last night's lost way and stomach problem). Tried to ask a staff about ramen casually with my poor Jap...

Had a great time staying there. (4 Nights) The Place is clean and everything works. The bed was very comfortable and even though I was sleeping in huge dorm room I had no problem falling asleep or felt that there is nor enough space. The owner is pretty cool guy and gives the hole place a more friendly and welcoming experience. We talked about different things in the a...

Nice and welcoming staff. Laid-back and relaxed feeling. Just 10-min walk (1 subway station) from Namba/Dotonbori, not very far, and it's also convenient to go to other parts of Osaka. Got a good kitchen, but need to take the food downstairs to eat, a bit dangerous when holding hot stuff? The lower deck of the bunker bed also has little headroom for talk guys. Still it...

It was nice facilities for a very low price. Towel and shower amenities are given. There is wifi and tv in the lounge and everything was clean. The beds are hard and the bottom bunk feels a bit tight and doesn't get much air compared to the top bunk. Be warned they do not turn the lights off at night but each bed is closed off with a screen. Also you must pay for locke...

Wonderful stay. We booked for 2nights and we end up staying for 6nights. Very friendly host who will assist you in your travel questions. Its a brand newly open traditional japanese house. If you dont mind staying like a local, this is the best place in osaka for u. 10min walk to minamigata subway dat will bring u direct to namba(10min) or osaka central(2min). All basi...

Free breakfast (coffee/tea with toast), central location. Ryu offers great advice to your Osaka stay along with a great bar offering and food menu at his bar. He is quite the chef and entertainer. He built this hostel himself, so everything is well made. He is always helpful and available to provide the best experience in Osaka and Japan. The building is a little narr...

The location is perfect (about 15 min by walk to Dotonbori) The staff is amazing and speak English The hostel is really clean and the beds are comfy! Maybe it's because it just open but we had beers, soft drinks, bottles of water and snacks totally free! Really the best hostel in Osaka!

i missed my osaka flight and only got to the hostel near midnight which was past the opening hours of the reception but was still greeted warmly by the staff (who was informed in advance by airport of my delay). check-in was quick and staff even helped to carry my luggage up to the room. the room had two bunk beds (with lower bed on tatami) and the futons were very com...

It’s been one the best stays on my travels in Japan. Really comfy and fairly spacious sleeping pod, good WiFi, spacious kitchen to cook your meals, free tea / coffee. 1 min walk from nearest JR station which was a great plus. Staff super friendly and helpful. The washing machine wasn’t operating while I was there but there is a cheap laundromat down the road. 7-11 and ...

The people were very nice and the double room was quite large from a guesthouse. Slept pretty good. It is by a traffic stop, but a little ways from the things we wanted to see, but close to umeda/Osaka station which gets you everywhere. The bathroom was tiny, but guest house standards had everything you want. Staff really friendly.

Was at the Osaka airport immigration line and just realized that I haven't booked any accom yet. So I just booked my first two nights here, just to have some address to show to the immigration officer. And I'm so lucky. The staffs, esp the manager (owner as well? maybe), were so nice. On my second night it was Christmas eve, and staffs were on holiday leave. I was a l...
5-star hotels in Osaka

The hotel was very clean and quite big. There are many falicities that make me feel very comtable. All function in the room are controlled by the panel on the wall. However, all label are Japanese so it quite hard for us to use. Moreover, in my room, the logging key is broken so when we turn in the worng way, we got stuck inside. I cannot contact the owner by the phone...
Traveler impressions of Osaka
Wonderful place for shopping and going easily around with various public trains system. Good place for business and traveling.
Osaka castle is a must visit. Universal City is cool. Skiing at Biwako Valley was awesome! Food cheaper than Tokyo
Best for people who loves Japanese cuisine, U get best deal for the high quality food wagyu, sashimi, etc
I have been here in Osaka four times and I still love seeing the place! It's always a memorable time for me in this City :-)
Lovely city if you intend to go for the street food, dining and shopping. Osaka itself has not much sightseeing.
subways are so convenient for travelers to reach anywhere an ease. a busy and modern international city.
actualy osaka is business city but if you go for holiday there is alot of place u can visit for culture nature n sightseeing.
Great location for anyone that wishes to cover Osaka, Kyoto (only 30 minutes by JR Train from Osaka Station) and Kobe (only 30 minutes by JR Train from Osaka Station).
There is no way to see everything that Osaka has to offer in one night. It'll be at least two or three days before you can explore all the neighborhoods well.
I love Osaka. Osaka has almost everything. Main attractions such as Universal Studio, Aquarium, Dotonburi, Shinshabashi Arcade (+ many more arcades), Kuromon market, Housing and Living Museum (can rent Kimono with small token), Osaka Castle, etc etc are MUST visit places at Osaka.
You can enjoy all the Japanese food in Osaka. Almost all worldwide branding can be found in osaka. But I especially like local brand.
Osaka is the best place for Japan lover starter. It's got everything -great location to visit other great cities and its own shopping places
Great shopping places and good food from all over Japan can be found in Osaka. People are generally friendly and helpful especially to tourists.
Another big city which is very convenient to travel around. Good food and lots to shop around. But may not offer you relax time as limited countryside areas
The Universal Studio Osaka is one of the attractive point must go but have to avoid weekend. Too many people & everything is long queqe.
Convenient starting point to vist Nara area, Himeji and Kobe area by train. Popular places to visit are Osaka Castle, Todaji Temple, Nara Park, Himeji Castle & Kobe Harbour.
So much to see and do- make sure you can speak a little Japanese at the very least. It'll help you get around, people are friendly and will go out of their way to help you find where you're looking for.
In a 24 day span, 2 separate trips, I seen so much of Osaka and its tourists attractions most locals told me they didn't see as much as I did.
the only place in japan that you have to stand on the other of the escalator. Interesting souvenir 'making fun' of the famous one.
Umeda sky building is worth a visit to check out their city view. Visit their Orange street for cafes and home and deco shopping indulgence.
Sagano Scenic Railway is a good transport to enjoy the beautiful scene of Hozu valley located in the Katsura River.
We were only there for half a day and a night but were very impressed with what saw during this short stay.
We have difficulty to find the people can speak English, also have problem to use the ticket machine as they have no English to advise how to use!
Osaka Castle is quite nice the around environment view. Dontobori & Shinsaibashi is quite good for shopping.
Great place to try lots of food, esp. the local "okonomiyaki". Kids Plaza Osaka is a great place to take children.
The beauty of Osaka or Japan as a whole is the people. The history , cleanliness , relaxation is all there.
Overall, I have great experience with no Japanese language knowledge. People are nice and helpful. But, I feel that the information stated by the brochure or attractions are not informative.
It is worthwhile to pay a short visit in Osaka. It can be that arriving by plane from overseas in Osaka Kansai airport and visit Dotonbori, Peace museum, Osaka Imperial Palace (a must to go), Osaka tower.
Just a friendly city ..easy to get around..great restaurants and shopping..with staff so very courteous and helpful.
