Hotel location fantastic - in middle of La Rambla - restuarants, subway, shopping, public transport and sight seeing places all closeby. Hotel rooms are newly rennovated and modern and good condition. Only issues I had was that the toilet did not work properly sometimes and took a while to get fix and sometimes I did not get shower gel and soap, had to ask but got serv...

The location was great and within walking distance to all attractions and public transport. The room for 4 was very new, clean although a bit tight for 4 but it didn’t bother us as we were out most of the time, There’s a lift which means we don’t have to carry our heavy bags up stairs like many other hostel in Spain, I would highly recommend this place,

When you go to a City like Granada you want to be in the thick of it and you cannot get a hotel in a better position than this one, Its on one of the main squares in town with a balcony from which you can view all the action. We even had a big screen Opera concert going on in the square on the Saturday night which we watched from our balcony the best seats in the hou...

Laura was amazing!! She was always so happy to assist us with all our inquiries. Our room was very spacious and clean. The hostal was minutes from Las Ramblas and many places to eat. I’d definitely stay here when in Spain again. Thank you Laura for everything!!

My stay in Principal B&BCN was excellent. The team really taking good care of me from the beginning I arrived in Spain. Previously I asked even for early check in but due to my changing flight I don't need the early check in (but still! I appreciated their kindness!). Fransisco was welcoming me even suggest where to take taxi from airport. Oh, they sent me SMS to my nu...

I had one of my Best Stays in one of the Lowest Price hotel i've booked. This actually exceeded my expectations in all means, We had a Room with Gallery showcasing the Terrific LaRambla Street! There will not be a better place to stay than this at mere price u r paying for this lovely hotel/hostel. The Metro & Bus Station both are around just 100 metres from hotel and ...

Long due review. My travelling partner and myself stayed here 2x during our trip to spain. It definately value for money. Anna was such a great host, she took time to recommend us places to go and even Helped to call out tour agency to make some changes. Location to the city is near enough, however with trolley luggage it can be a tiring task and took about 20 mins wa...

About my stay = One of the helpfull staff members communicated with via watsapp and met me near the hotel upon arrival to Barcelona. My bedroom was a decent size which included a wardrob, table, chair, portable heater and fan. The Wi-Fi had a strong connection at all times. There is also a computer in the guest house for anyone to use. There are 2 bathrooms wit...

going to barcelona for the first time (hopefully not the last time!) we had been searching internet for a good place te stay. because of what others were writing, we decided to choose anba bed & breakfast. our experience can only confirm what others have been saying. from the first moment, in which we were welcomed by the lady at the reception, to the moment we were to...

Location is perfect, plenty of places to see and restaurants to try around the area. Room is very small, also the bathroom. Don't expect too much in that area. Very helpful staff. You can request for water heater and cups for your morning coffee. And if it's not fully booked, you can choose the room that best suits you. I was given a map of the area immediately...

Everything. Centrally located and easy to find. 15mins walking distance to the Cathedral. Staff are very kind and helpful, and speak very good English (which is not so common in Spain, as far as my personal encounters go). The double room i booked was very clean and had all the basic stuff one needs. Overall very good value for money for a guesthouse and i would defini...

Staff are very friendly and helpful esp the lady at the reception. However room is very small so those with big bags beware. They clean our room really well despite we having so much staff. Although it felt more like a 1 star hotel to me but service is at least a 4 star!

The hostel is in what I thought was the best neighbourhood I came across in my four days in Madrid. I had a room with a balcony overlooking a side street. Despite the shutters and glass door there was a lot of street noise plus my room was by the reception desk. If, like me, you're a light sleeper you may find it quite hard to get to sleep (Madrid had one the Champions...

The Casa Nova Guest House offers a small amount of pretty rooms in a nice house from the late 19th or early 20th century. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a closet of good size, and storage areas were more than adequate even for a long stay. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea available throughout the day. For the use of guests, the guest h...

Very good location. It's within walking distance to main shopping, Gothic Quarter and lots of markets. The room were clean. The balcony was great and the staff was all very friendly. Walls are very thin so you can hear a lot of the other rooms. If you had a noisy neighbour it could be tiresome.

No complaints for anything, it looked great, good service and host is so so good. Hosts will treat everyone very nicely and will recommend various things to do and eat in the city. If u come to see Barcelona for the first time it’s a best place to stay. Its having near by local bus and hop on hop off bus station and metro station.

It was located right in the city center and 5 minutes walking to the nearest train station. The hotel provided us with towels and the bed was clean. We were supposed to check out at 11 AM in the morning, but we were allowed to leave our luggage until 9 PM, just before our flight. Overall, I'd give it a full 5-star experience for the value, and I will definitely go ba...

Loved our stay in this beautiful, sprawling old monastery. Loved the atmosphere, the building, the character, and the fantastic central location (you cannot possibly get any closer to the cathedral, or other Santiago sights). The value was outstanding. Free wifi was a nice bonus. One gripe was breakfast - it's a bit chaotic in the little cafe, and at ten euros per pers...

The room and bathrooms were exceptionally clean which really impresses us and everything was modern and working fine. We had a sharing bathroom room which was completely fine as we never had to wait for a shower! The location is not ideal for those who do not want to use public transport. It's about an 50 mins from the beach and 35 mins from the gothic quarter and la r...

The hotel is centrally located in Madrid and located on the edge of the hip Malasaña And Chueca neighborhoods. We walked to the royal palace in about 20 minutes and it’s a 10 minute walk to the Puerto del Sol Plaza and Cortes neighborhood that has a great bar and tapas scene. My girlfriend and I stayed in a private double room and were more than happy. The bed was co...

Not responsive to emails. Requested a cake but was not prompt to respond whether a cake could be arranged. Lucky the staff is kind enough to buy a cake after speaking to her upon check in. However, major disconnect between the staff on shift. Not knowing whether the staff that I spoke to bought a cake, this guy has absolutely no clue what was happening. Major hiccup to...

We went to see a Barca match! The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the metro and 10-15 minute walk from the Barca stadium. They're quite a lot if restaurants near but they start closing after 9pm so it was difficult for us to find a place to eat after the match. The room was clean and the owner was super nice. It's an apartment with seperated rooms, jus...

It is a good hostal in the center of Madrid. Worth the money, and it's also quiet. I just didn't like that they don't give you the key to the outside door. When it's past 10 pm, a guard has to let you out of the building or back in the building. Getting back inside the building I can see that, and don't mind, but getting out of the building also? I don't get that....

If you're on a budget, this is probably one of the best hotels you'll find. Room is very comfortable with a balcony facing one of the best streets for food and bars. Rooms and bathrooms are clean with everything in good working condition. The customer service is top-class, not what you'd expect from a budget hotel. Upon check-in, the manager at the reception take...

We stayed in two separate areas in Madrid. One was on the edge of Salamanca, so in a conventional upper class area. The Hotel Ballesta is in a more downtown and somewhat area, but safe and in the end we preferred it to our more upscale accomodation. This was in part because while the hotel is basic and straightforward, the service was excellent, and speaking Engli...

The room was large and attractively decorated. The large floor level only had two other rooms which meant that the large shared kitchen and seating area felt that it was homely personal space and very unlike a hotel. This wasn't the only so called 'bed and breakfast' accommodation that we stayed in that was in fact much better than most of the hotel rooms we had booked...

The ladies working reception were so friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, but there is so much noise from the street. Even with ear plugs, sleep was impossible on the loud Saturday night until the streets cleared around 4am. The hostel itself is a rest value. Definitely recommend!

Great place for the price but I found shifty the"free" food night that we've been told at the reception. Came down expecting some chips and to meet others. Found this big Brazilian guy working there hugging the guacamole bowl and kept insisting on buying drinks. Even after I got a beer, he kept hugging the bowl even taking it out of reach because the 2 guys next to me ...

This place has no parking. All the rooms face out onto the swimming pool and bar area so it can get pretty loud. Not the cleanest wither. However, it is shelter for the night for a low price so you can't complain too much, but I'd try to find another place if I were you.

location was a bit far from the city center of o porrino, but manuel made up for it driving us guest to the location of the camino for free. rooms were big. beds comfortable. toilet and bath clean. we were able to wash our clothes as well. very very good service.

Our first room had a bit of a ant problem, I’m fine with a few ants here or there but this was like an ants nest in the bathroom. They moved us into another room and this was fine. Good value for what you pay for. Wifi and breakfast very good, bathrooms fine. I would stay again for the good location.

The hostel staff were wonderfully helpful in every aspect and always smiling. They gave us a map as well as several tips on what to do or see. The hostel was spotlessly clean, was super cheap and right in the middle of town (2 min walk from the main square). Staff lovely. Definitely recommend as was great value for money.

As clean as 5 star hotel. staffs are so friendly and willing to help. They tried their best to help me to get information of Merida and transportation. Very big bathroom and comfortable bed. Can use laundry machine for free (need to buy detergent but only charge 1EU). Highly recommend!!!

Loved Hostel Abaaly. Although it took me some time to locate it, but I quickly realised it was at the best location. Ate most of meals while I was in Madrid at the famous Mercado right in front of the hostel. And the staff were so helpful when I needed to wash my clothes and in other areas. Love, love, love this place.

The rate was very very very cheap, given the amenities in the room. The Hotel is actually a few units in an apartment building. However, the interiors are very tastefully decorated. However, internet was not working. There is no staff after a certain time, so it is more like renting a apartment rather than a hotel. If arriving at weird hours, it is important to inform ...

We were walking Camino and took a day of in Sarria. Place is very conveniently located-close to Camino road. Just make sure you will ask for Casa Matias. There is also Hostal Matias and is on a steep hill. That's where people send us and you don't need that after 24km walk. Staff is wonderful but hotel is just basic. It was quiet and we got good night sleep but you...

How my amazing barcelona trip and stayed at this hostel. Its such a cozy place where we book a room with small balcony. Very nice room, super clean and the toilet is big. It's not hotel but up to hotel standard. They provide towel and exchange on daily basis. The room is very clean and bright and high ceiling. We have more than enough plug and we could charge our devic...
