Best hotels & accommodations in Thailand

Booked double connecting rooms for my 3 nights stay and their service was excellent even before i checked in. Questions and emails were replied fairly quickly and in detail. Arrived pretty early in the morning with my group and since the room wasn't ready they allowed us to leave our luggages. You won't run out of things to do to burn time while waiting to check in fo...

The stay at kritthai was fabulous! Even though its 3 star hotel, we feel it surpasses our expectations. The luxury triple room we had booked was very clean and neat. It was not very spacious but it's sufficient for my family of 4. 1 King size bed and 1 single bed. Breakfast was simple but good. The staff are very friendly and kind. Only grouse was the WiFi. We had to r...

As a vegan, wherever I travel in the world, I always try to stay in vegetarian/vegan accommodation. This is for ethical reasons, supporting fellow vegetarians/vegans and primarily because I just want a decent breakfast! I go to the islands in Thailand every year and, this year, decided to spend a few days in Chiang Mai after hearing about the number of vegetarian rest...

The location is great. We arrived at late 11pm, the receptionists waited for us at the lobby. We booked for two twin rooms but they gave us one double and one twin. Since it was really late, we switched to another twin room on the next day. One lady can speak Chinese, and all of the receptionists are really really kind! They always try their best to help you. The break...

i booked patong terrace boutique hotel after reading the reviews on trip advisor.since this was my first trip to phuket and thailand for that matter,i needed a place that would make me feel at home.i booked initially for 5 days but staying there for two days i extended my stay to cover my entire vacation.i stayed in room 502 and loved it so much.the owner is such a wo...

Really liked this place, we stayed here for 3 nights when we arrived in Bangkok and 1 night before we left, obviously its not luxury for the price, rooms are basic but clean and beds are comfortable. Staff we're friendly and helpful. Wifi worked but you had to continually keep signing in as it would constantly kick you off. Its a 5/10min walk to food, bars & amenitie...

There is very little we can fault about this place. It had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the room was extremely clean, we had everything we needed for our stay. The best thing were the pillows for us. It is very rare that you get a pillow at a hotel that has just the right bounce and denseness but their pillows were just perfect- we slept very well. The roo...

The hotel room is clean and comfortable, with air-conditioner, water heater and Wi-fi. Moreover, there is a swimming pool and a lounge to relax at the top of the hotel roof. Besides, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they make my stay comfortable. One of the pros about this hotel: great location. The hotel is located along the Khao San Road, which is one of th...

Great location 5 minutes walk to 7/11 and train. Local MBK shopping great for Shoes and clothes food etc. Beds are firm foam easy to sleep, better than most hotels in Thailand. Great friendly staff, and nice breakfast included. Planned to stay one night, but stayed 3 nights because it was nice and newly refurbished.

Rooms are clean, functional, and offers one of the best views of the Mekong river. The common area is cozy and feels like home - perfect for chilling, reading a book, or hanging out with others. Location is also perfect, right smack in the middle of the Chiang Khan walking street and also next to the pathway by the beautiful river.

If you are in Chiang Mai and not chasing a budget too hard, then it really is a must go-to. More of a boutique guesthouse than a hotel, it is as centrally located as you can get, peaceful, well laid out and friendly. Breakfast is OK for Thailand but there's also plenty of good value eateries in the vicinity. Probably 50 metres off, and inside the canal it is hard to d...

We ended off our 2 week round trip at Memory Boutique Patong not knowing what to expect. After delaying our arrival and cutting our stay from 3 nights to 1, we eventually arrived to be greeted by the owner, Nicolai. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. This was the best value for money hotel we've stayed in on our entire trip. The room was amazing, perfect for...

We booked a Superior room, well, we tried to book two, but something weird happened with the booking and we only got one, by the time we got a reply from the help people, there were only Suites available, at twice the price. So we thought that we may as well splurge and enjoy the extra comfort! We were rather disappointed however, to find that the "Suite" was very ...

Cheap price for one air-con bed room with private bathroom (hot & cold shower), body wash and hair shampoo (no toothbrush and toothpaste), TV, daybed, and refrigerator. The hotel is in good conditions though it was opened 7 years ago (this year is 2019). There are a lot of local food shops nearby (I mean food shops where Phuket people go to eat not food shops for touri...

I recommend this hotel if it is the first couple days of your trip. Located at the base of Chitlom BTS station this hotel is a great place to start to get aqcainted with the city. Also, if you come to bangkok to shop stay here for sure. Located amazingly close to Siam Paragon, Central Word, Pratnuam Markets etc. The hotel itself is nothing to write home about but ...

Our stay at the New Siam Palace View was our second place we booked in Thailand. I'll will write all the details and our experience as best as possible. At arriving at the New Siam Palace View, we check-in at midday for our 3 night stay. The staff was very nice, friendly and very helpful. They ask for our passport to get a copy and 500 baht, a refundable amount. Just ...

Kanghan Rak Homestay is a wonderful place if you want to get away from generic hotels and try something cozy with excellent value for money. We stayed in a tiny bungalow, but it was beautifully designed and built, and within those few square meters we had both our own toilet and shower, air condition and even TV. But believe me, you will not want to watch TV while s...

its only when after you have stayed in other hotels that you become to appreciate the Ambiance Hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help you with advice for where to shop where to get the best rate of exchange for your cash anything you want to know just ask the staff, as for the hotel its situated in the heart of the nightclu...

Great place to visit Bangkok, location is in tourist centre of the city, 15min walk to Grand Palace and about 5min walk to Khao San Rd. During our visit in Bangkok we stayed here 3 times so we seen different rooms. Basically if you are looking for a place to just lay down your head after whole day of sightseeing this is great place. The room is small but has all you ne...

Tastiest breakfast in Thailand. Fantastic staff. Outstanding attention to detail. Central but quiet location. Comfortable rooms. Returned twice. Is this the best B&B in Chiang Mai? I would say so. Rooms get booked out early, even in low season so don't think about it for too long - get booking!

Stairs to Ekamai BTS Station are right outside. 25 min ride to Chao Phraya River for 42 baht. Mall with a food court and a small grocery store across the street. Good food options at both. Taxi from Suv Airport about 35 min at 1:30 am cost 320 baht. Ekamai bus Stn. is half a block away on the opposite side of the street. Room was very clean, with separate shower, and...

We had an problem with our flight and couldn't reach the hotel before 4am. When we arrived, our key with a note was waiting for us on the reception desk. We were able to get to our room and sleep for a few hours before leaving Thailand. The bedroom was small but well equipped and clean, as well as the bathroom. In the morning, breakfast was perfect to start the say and...

I will never ever forget this hotel. This place makes u feel at home --cozy! The hotel itself was designed for art lovers. it has an art gallery which showcases paintings that would make lasting impressions.... their family room is definitely the best! Big, cozy, artistically designed---i was impressed! One suggestion though, kindly provide a brighter light in your toi...

If you really go without expecting too much you’d be surprised to discover a nice place with lovely pool, close to the center; not bad at all. We booked a villa with resort view; pretty basic, the bed looked uncomfortable at first but somehow we had the best sleep in this hotel. They have two pools, one for those who’s staying at the hotel; loved this one with really ...

Greenery hostel is the best hostel we have ever stay in Thailand. The location is about 10 minutes walk from Ratchathevi station or Phayathai station. We found it easier to reach there from Ratchathevi Station. Exit Ratchathevi station, turn left , walk along Petchburi Road, about 200 meters, across the overpass, keep left, walk pass the bus stop, about 100 meters,...

i had really a good recomendation for this Hotels....... 1.the location is reaaly great....you just have to walk around 5-10 minutes from the Bts Station wong wian yai.....so you can really easily to go elsewhere from this hotel. 2.the value is really good coz the room is really comfy and clean....everyday they clean the room...and if you want to stay longer on y...

Another great stay with the Victor guesthouse, it is as it states in its marketing, but has great staff and they do everything to make your stay a good one. It is in one of the best locations for beach and market away from the usual Thailand trappings. I will be staying with this group of hotels again.

Before our arrival in Chiang Mai we were curious about our stay in the TCH Guesthouse. We saw the hostel in the Agoda booking portal and it seemed to be very nice and clean. On arrival we were surprised, because the hostel was greater than we could expect! Very clean, complete new and great 4-bed room, very friendly look (bright, nice decorated towels on the beds), as...

I booked for 3 day in the first day , I needed to reschedule my departure due to urgent condition. We arrived at the 2nd day at 12 pm and we could check in. This was very lovely since most hotel would have sold our room if we hadnt come. The staffs are very helpful and nice The room was really worth the money and super cozy and clean It is located behind Fatboy ...

The hotel is very nice, clean, tidy and new furniture. It takes you about 5 - 10 minutes walking to Airport Rail Link, Big C, a very big Thailand market. You can book grab easily to Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Central World ( cost 36 bath - 46 bath ). Well, I must say this is very worth your money.

I absolutely loved the look, feel, and experience of the Baan Elephant House. It seemed like the best combination of location, amenities, and value on Agoda so I chose it just based on what I saw on the site. My time there was so great that when I went back to Chiang Mai I stayed at Baan Elephant House everytime. A good mix of travelers stay here and it can be a quiet ...

I initially booked 2 nights, but ended up staying 7 nights in total with a break in between, because I went to Pai for a couple of days (which is beautiful btw) The rooms are cleaned every day and so are the showers and toilets. Each room has a good aircon and the bottom bunks have little certainly to give you some privacy. The beds are quite hard, but that's norma...

Ok so very nice hotel, my room was a king sized and included 2 towels , private bath too. The water heater didn’t work but Pai is hot so it’s ok. The STAFF is amazing, they gave me a ride into town my last day , i had to wake them up by knocking on their door at 6 am ish but they were so kind and service was great. Recommendations would be, investing in A/C for the pr...

I don't know why this place is not at least an 8.5 stars. It's VERY good. Nice room and bed, small balcony, tv, aircon and fridge. The staff is very nice and has plenty of security. WIFI is amazing we could use it perfectly well habing 3 devices connected at the same time. We stayed in 2 more places in a Chiang Mai before this one and by far the best one. Perfect locat...

Being that this was my first time staying in guesthouse with shared accommodations, I was initially worried about the usual things that most worry about when sharing a room and amenities with strangers; two of the biggest things being cleanliness and ability to get along with those assigned to the room. All of my worries were quickly put to rest. The facilities at 168...

First, they did message me on the email about my booking and let me do an early check in at around about 7:30am. The owner were a lovely couple!!! (Paphitchaya, a Thai woman and Richard from the UK). They speak very good English! They really look after me when I was there. Very good location! Near the Tha Phae Gate. Very clean room and the bathroom as well! Paphitchay...

Loved my stay! The price was a HUGE upside to picking this place! Super cute place with the best staff that is very welcoming and make you feel like old friends. PERFECT location. Quiet, right outside of old town, food market around the corner, lots of places to eat from super cheap and good to western prices and styles. I loved that a daily and monthly membership...

This was the best place we've stayed at in Thailand. It feels like you're part of a family and we felt very welcomed and at home. The rooms are great for the price (300 Baht for a double room), they are super clean and there is a nice bathroom with it with a shower. You can get free water, tea and coffee all day. There is a chilling area in the middle of a small garden...

Good basic clean facilities, great for the money. Good location, scooters available for rent cheap, book tours, good breakfast . The best part of the hostel is the owners and staff. They are amazing! So welcoming and helpful, they make you feel like part of the family. 100% would return :)

Friendly Chinese-English speaking owners who can arrange private tours or off the beaten ones if they have time (or group). Not the best location if you need entertainment. But good for those seeking a stay away from the old city. Street food and 7 eleven just 5 min walk while a 20 min slow walk will take you into the old city or a nearby shopping mall. Not for those w...

My fan room was big, nice and clean, with complimentary water and toilet paper - great for the price! The guesthouse is really just opposite the bus station, and there is a path next to it that will take you to New Sukhothai in 10-15 mins (walking). The staff are extremely polite, I was even a bit embarrassed, feeling I might have walked into a fancy hotel by mistake. ...

Stayed in the superior bungalow with air con for 4 nights, think it worked out at 357baht a night £8. Basically your own little guesthouse excellent air con double balcony. Didn't use the pool as we were out a lot. Woman owner seemed very nice although we only spoke to her checking in and out. 7 min walk to start of walking street. Right next to muai Thai gym. Wasn't n...

The staff here are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Check in is a good experience. To be honest we chose this guesthouse because the price was right, and it was, compared to most other places near the centre of Chiang Khong. It has the Saturday walking street, such as it is, right outside, and is a walking distance to just about all the restaurants in town. The...

I stayed several times at Chiangmai Backpack House over the past 2 weeks. I kept coming back because the owners are such lovely, accommodating people! The dorms are very good value too. The female dorm was quiet, the beds are quite comfortable and it's very safe as each bed as a locked space (bring your own padlock). The rooms giving on the street are more noisy but no...

If you’re searching for a cheap and basic place to sleep Baan lanna walking street is the right place. Located at the end of the main walking street you find yourself close to the main action with some cafes, restaurants and scooter rentals within 5-10 min walking distance. We booked a double bed with fan room and were surprised that instead of windows there were only ...

As said we had the best nights sleep we have ever had at a hotel and we have stayed in many,it was quiet, very clean, the beds and sheets were immaculately clean-like new,the staff could not of been more helpful and were very friendly-not only did View the owner of this Guest House point us in all the right directions She also joined us on our night out to make sure we g...

We did not feel safe because anybody can come direct to the house and we had just a padlock on the "poor" doors (you can even see little bit in the room through the gap in the locked doors). But we always have our precious thing on us and during the night also. Staff is friendly and helpful, but it is hard to meet them - but they are online. Front yard looks terrible,...

Good value. AC 7pm-9am, hot shower, small locker by the reception to put valuables. Not sparkling clean but it's ok. Really liked the coconut chicken soup in the restaurant. Wouldn't recommend the travel agency, 600B for a not so good bus to Chiang Mai, left us 15km from town in a gaz station. Had to hitchike my way to the center at 6am to avoid the rip off taxi wait...

Right by the river across from the beginning of the night market this guesthouse is the perfect blend of accessibility and relaxation. Drinking coffee in the morning with the best muesli and fruit we have had (in Thailand or anywhere really) to the sounds of the river was the perfect start to a morning. The woman at the front desk was one of the kindest people with an ...

Really love twin house, even we got a fan room, but it is really cool in the night because it is wooden, and also the house is very traditional thailand and exotic. The shared bathroom is very clean, no need to worry about it. The location is perfect, very close to Tapae and there are many restaurants, 711 is beside the corner. Really wonderful experience there!!!

comfortable beds with an individual light and sockets. excellent location (not in the old city but it's really close. and there's a night food market starting from 6pm every night just 1-min walk away.). really really nice hostel staff who speak English, thai, mandarin and Cantonese. the best thing about this hostel is meeting people. the staff try to organize some act...

All pros with this place. Great staff, very attentive and helpful. Staff speaks English well so not much of a language barrier. They can also tell you how to get around the city, hire drivers for trips to Koh Chang and surrounding attractions and get-aways. Nithinan that works there is the best. I would stay here again and recommend it. The only thing I would say that ...

We stsayed 2 nights in one of the bungalows. The bungalow was very cute with a surprisingly nice bathroom connected to it. The bed could be more comfortable but it was ok, i think in such a place you dont expect more comfort (then you go to a hotel...). Due to the way of construction you can here everything from outside, that means the mosc and the chickens will wake y...

Really cheap hostel. The dorm room I slept in was clean, besides an annoying smell. The beds are ok, you have an air-con in the room and you have a few nice extras, like a locker, lamp, power outlet at your bedside. Even a kitchen is there if you need one. The bathrooms where alright. What could have been better I'd the incredible slow wifi, if it even works. Another ...

The hostel was in an amazing location for us. I was initially sceptical of being so far away from Haad Rin, but having since been there, I’m glad we were! You’re two minutes walk from the beach, and have plenty of eateries, 7/11, bike rentals places etc within 1-2 minutes walk. It’s about ten minutes in a taxi from the pier, right on the main road. Stephane the host w...

I stayed at Nat Len for a total of 3 nights and had a great stay. The place was very clean by western standards and well appointed. They have a restaurant that serves cheap meals and they offer free coffee/tea all day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was within short walking distance of Sompet market and restaurants. The maid offered to clean the r...

we stayed here for 4 nights at the end of april 2012. it is an absolutely picteresque resort. were very nice and helpful. i think the only downside is the location, but even that is manageable, all tours will pick you up from there, it is about 700 baht to go to pa-tong by tuk-tuk or taxi. they tend to get a bit lost trying to find it, but they all ended up getting the...

I want to say that our stay at Arun was a realy great experience! We had book a nice room but when we arrived the staff said that we could be upgraded to their new built stand alone apartment over the river! :) Damn, that was a suprise! Just wonderful and the room/apartment was so amazing! I just want to say to the staff of Arun Residence: Big Thanx! You guys made o...

I stayed longer than planned before because it was very good to relax in that resort after a long day of enjoying the interesting surroundings of Sukothai. Bicycles were there to rent for a very cheap price. Cycling is the best thing to do, because the countryside is flat and the ruins of Temples are spread in a vast area. The resort was well equipped with washing mach...

Great great great!!! The hotel is very new. Thai Northern style building very pretty. Nice spacious room with bathtub in the middle ^^ (honeymoon kind of room). All quality facilities like nice bed, pillow ,TV+global cable, WIFI , hairdryer , amenities, etc. Staffs are so friendly. great location almost center of Lamphun town close to all attractions. they have coffee ...

Hotel staff were amazing, helpful and informative and always welcoming. Great atmosphere and gorgeous dogs in the main hotel lobby. We stayed in a private double room and it was akin to a 5 star hotel, all the essentials, superb decor and balcony. Super cheap takeaway next door and supermarket right opposite. Walking distance to the main hub. Highly recommended!

Recommended for a group travelers. Small nice private house with cute terrace, beautiful garden and mountain view. The house is clean and beautiful with nice space and function. This shall be a perfect vacation home for winter in Thailand. There is one master bedroom downstair and several beds upstair for meeting. Breakfast (rice soup) is nice and on time.

We spend 15 days in Thailand And Lamduan boutique Homestay in Chiang Mai is our best memories ! Welcome very nice, Jacky and Lam gave us many advices to discover the area, the breakfast are very complet and home-made, to conclude, we were like at home ! Thank you for everything and we hope to come back a next time !

Doesn't feel like a typical hotel. The atmosphere is very casual and homelike. Friendly, attentive and welcoming owners, without being intrusive. The property is clean, comfortable, well kept and maintained. The property is situated in a quiet area with all necessities just around the corner. So for a truly relaxing holiday and a place to unwind it ticks all boxes

I was only in Trat for the night, on my way to Koh Kood - couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The guesthouse is beautiful, and the woman who runs it is so welcoming and friendly! The room itself was very bare bones, but for the price I have no complaints!

Yes, there is a very friendly, smiling old man here, who started building this place (and the access road) in the early 80's. I was told this was the very first resort in MaeSai, for foreign tourists. There are a dozen or so basic bamboo huts here, with fans, bathrooms attached, hot water (good pressure), wifi, but basic....as in 80's style. Fantastic location, on Rive...

I really appreciated the hotel. I went there with my family and I've got one dog, it's not easy to find the hotel that allowed pet in the city like this. Even that it's close to the center but it;s still quiet and its easy to find public transportation around the hotel. I'll go back gain sure!
