Basic accommodation”
It is a very basic accommodation. Room is clean with futon bed. You need to put in mattress cover, pillow case yourself. Only 1 common bathroom to share with other guests. Only 1 toilet for ladies. 2 man toilet, 2 basins for washing face brush teeth. Aircondition is chargeable at additional JPY200 per day. Tower & toiletries are not provided. Location is good, about 7-10 min slow walk from Beppu Station, either exit East or West of Station. One is walk by road side, another is underneath the railway track, almost same distance. I used the kitchen facilities to boil hot water, eat the cup noodle buy fr convenient store. Ground floor is reception & kitchen. 1st-3rd floor are rooms, abt 3-4 rooms each floor. No lift, climb staircase. Might be challenging for big n heavy luggage.

Okay stay..”
I booked the room because of the birthday special, but i didnt get the offer. As they really wanted the stay to be exact day.. Mine is 30th and the stay is 29th. Quite far from station esp when night time , its spooky and quiet. Noisy as my room is near the common area. The senor lighting always on when people walked pass. Didnt sleep well. Nothing fanastic about the stay. They gave some public bath passes which is really not worth to go. Small and dont expect much (really!) , it's those bathing place for neighbourhood aunties.. Super awkward~~ >.< if its just for experience, then okay (maybe?)

fine night”
this guest house is good for having a place to nap. the room is really nice with the traditional Japanese tatami floor and futon. the only thing to be consider is there is no shower room here, be prepare to use the public bathroom. as this is not ok for us because we have got tattoos so we can't use the public bath. ignoring this issue, everything is great. clean and tidy with free of use of the kitchen.

Stay in Ryokan with nearest from train station”
Location is not far from train station. The staff are very nice service. Free onsen
The hotel has free bike for you. I ride a bike around the city in the night. It's very fantastic. You can walk to the beach with 10 minute. But there was no hotel sign you have to ask people around there.
