Guest House Hana is located a 5-minute walk away from Lake Biwa and an 8-minute walk from JR Otsu Station. Free WiFi is available. Hamaotsu Station of the Keihan Line is a 2-minute walk away. You will find a kettle in the room. Rooms include a shared bathroom. For your comfort, you will find slippers and a hair dryer. JR Kyoto Station can be reached with a 9-minute train ride, while JR Osaka Umeda Station is a 39-minute train ride away. JR Nara station is located 65 minutes' train ride from Guest House Hana.

I also got lucky and stayed with a good group of interesting folks who were keen to chat and share. Would have preferred a bit more privacy as the curtain around the bed was a bit small and let in some light.

Dusty Accommodation, no towels for guests, beddings and linens were old and not newly washed and pillows were not comfortable. The whole room didn't smell clean. I don't recommend this place not value for money.
