Winter Stay (Jan'19)”

The hosts (Mr Sato and Mrs Miamama) were very friendly and generous. We booked 1 room for 4 pax but they gave us 2 rooms with no extra charge. The house is super clean and well maintained. If you are lucky you can see fluffy squirrels eating seeds (scattered by Mrs Miamama) on the veranda. They were very kind to treat us with freshly steamed Mochi (Japanese rice cake) and even showed us how to 'play' with the snow blower ;)

很溫馨”

Even the owner can’t speak English well , but I fell very comfortable and meet lot friends this time. I will totally recommend everyone should try stay one night here to make friends. But remember finished dinner before visit , otherwise it will take 5-10 by car to 7-11. If the owner is busy , that will be a bad news for you .

Special Living Experience”

The place locates in a countryside and around 20 mins to the nearest station by walk. The road is very dark at night, but it's a good place for seeing moon and stars. The host was very nice and kind. The sleeping place is like sleeping in a very big roof. It's a special experience because in Asia we don't see this kind of house a lot. Living here you can have different experience and feel compared to living in a normal hotel near a station.

A very special experience to live in a farm house. ”

Very nice host although they don't speak good English, enough to communicate. We live on second floor which is just under the roof, very funny and special experience. Only drawback is far from town centre. Anyway must stay again next go.

The owner Mia mama was so nice, she pick me in the station and drop to station again next day, and gave me au lait coffee snack and stellar biscuit for snack supplies. Arigato Mia Mama

Very very nice owner, super clean house, value for money”

Definitely a MUST stay guest house in Abashiri. You can experience a stay in a farm house. The room we are staying is very clean and nicely decorated. Owner is super nice, she likes to talk to the guest, although our Japanese is not that good, and in the morning, she makes coffee for us. Can park for free in front of their house. With this price, it's really worth to stay here for an experience.

The real adventure for foreigners ”

Well....I do like it due to my personality & adventurous mentality. I got off at a wrong JR station [2 stations away] & after contacted by a very small,1 person operation tourist outpost, the wife of the owner offered to pick me up with her own Toyota SUV with 20 minutes, Although she has very limited English but very friendly & helpful. The guesthouse is as country/farmland as you can get. It's about 20 minutes walking up hill on the country road to the guesthouse. It's absolutely pitch dark with no street lights excepted 1 at the corner of another country road about 1/2 up/down to the Masuura train stop [ a really train stop & as remote / small / country as you can get ]. But it's Japan....so I walked back to the guesthouse late at around 11:00 pm alone. by myself with my fone flash light as an indicator. All of the guests there were Japaneses traveling with their rental/own cars. So if you rented a car then it's less concern about the emptiness / dark country road to the guesthouse. However, that is what traveling all about...i.e. experiencing & exploring.

Nice, but way to far from town”

This place is only good if you have your own transport. It's just to far from the action. There is little trainstation in the neighbourhood but that's it. To walk up to the shoppingarea is almost an hour. Town is twice that distance. The owners are very friendly. The farm is surrounded by beautiful fields, full of crops like grain. Most travellers stay for one night. Everybody goes to bed early. At nine the first lights go out. As early as 05:30 the first travellers wake up to move elsewhere. The house is extreme noisy. You can hear loud snoring from all the (privat rooms). There is only one big bathroom. The house nicely decorated. The wife of the farmer makes nice coffee in the morning. Everything is very clean. The wall between the toilets (M/F) is extreme thin. You can hear everything. The offered bike (a small to really working elecrtic bike cost my a crazy 3000 yen a day. More then the price of a bunk bed. They toldme just befote i left. It was an unpleasant suprise. Even for the less then 1 hour bicycle run to the shops, the firstnight, i had to pay an extra 1000. They did pick me up from the station. The roof of the dorm is very low. The staits are an open hole to the kitchen/livingroom. As soon someone wakes up it is impossoble to sleep.

The host were very friendly even though they can't communicate much in English. The room is big and comfy. We went there during the night time and it is very dark and hard to find the place without the help of GPS. Other than that everything was great.

Bad location, no bus no train 25 minutes walk if dont have a car.”

It's impossible to walk if you dont have a car, it's 5 km far from the Masuura station by walk, no taxi in the middle of the street. We were so lucky to knock someone's door whose house is near the station to send us there. What a mess!

色々気にかけて頂いたり、コーヒーやお菓子を頂く等オーナーの方々がとても温かく、とても快適な滞在でした！ ここで見た星空が本当に綺麗で、空が澄んでいる冬のシーズンもまた行きたいです！ 今回はありがとうございました！！ 夏は部屋が暑いので、扇風機を使いながら寝るのが良いと思います。

飛び込み宿泊”

網走で適当な安い宿が見つからず流れ着いた、 北海道に来たんだな〜と実感させてくれるような場所にある温かい宿。 飛び込みのバイク旅の人や、鮭狙いの釣り人などもよく訪れるそうだ。 野外の五右衛門風呂（！）は前もって予約すれば入れるらしい。 予約の人の後に入るかと言ってくれたが、既に飲んでしまってたので今回は断念。 北海道らしい良い思い出を残してくれる宿。

大部屋”

ドミトリーで大部屋に10人近い人数が雑魚寝するというなかなかよそではみられないスタイルの宿でした。宿の方はとても親切です。宿というより、大きな家に泊めてもらうという感じでした。常連さんが多いようなので、初めての方はよく確認してから決めたほうが良いと思います。

お薦めです”

設備は綺麗、オーナーさんは親切です。ただ、周囲には何もなく、畑の中の一軒家です。移動手段が無いと、厳しいです。

宿のおかみさんが気さくで良い人だったので、もう一度来たくなる宿です。お風呂が広くてキレイ。

1９時過ぎに鱒浦駅に着いたら依頼もしていないのに奥さんが車で迎えにきてくれていて感動した！ 星空を見ながらの五右衛門風呂も最高でした(^^

2度目の宿泊です(^^)”

春にお世話になって、また来たい！と思った宿でした。オーナーさんや他の旅人の方との距離が近くて、いろんな話が聞けて、人生勉強になります。看板猫のナビィちゃんにも会えて、ステキな時間を過ごさせてもらいました。 お家のお風呂なので、小学生の息子と一緒に入れるのもよかったです。
