Exceptional”
The place is a combination of youth hostel, capsule hotel and guest house. Most of the guests are young foreigners looking for budget accommodation and a place to meet fellow travellers and plan activities. The beds are capsule hotel style. My room has 6 capsules and one bathroom. Each capsule has a light, electrical sockets, and a curtain. The common area is like a guest house, with an elevated tatami mat floor, hammocks, dining tables and a kitchen. The staffs are friendly and multilingual. (The staff who attended to me is from Taiwan so he spoke to me in Mandarin.) Take note that the reception is in the main building ground floor while the common area is in a separate building. There is free wifi, free parking and free bedsheets, but no towels. There is a convenience store across the road and the harbor next door is a good place to watch sunset. While the place is located far from the monorail stations (15-20 min walk), the low price and high rating are the main reasons for my stay.

Excellent ”
This is the most you can get from a guest house. I came here because of reviews and I was not disappointed. Some useful tips: - Don’t take the monorail from the airport, but the 99 bus, 230¥. There is no meaning to take the monorail, the bus stop is just right in front of the exit door, get off at Tomari stop, it is 3’ walking distance. - The location is perfect, you have the port on your back and is easy to plan daily trips to some islands. - 10’ walking distance, there is a very good SPA (Sento) were you can have hot springs. 1000¥ (week days) - after your relaxation moment at the hot springs,, keep walking 2 more minutes and you will get to Kakusai-Dori is a street, full packed of restaurants of any choices, from Ramen to typical Okinawan food, Starbucks, etc. There are also market streets evey here and then. This guest house worth the staff, well informed, easy going and ready to help. The structure is clean and well kept. Common area 24/7 is a plus!

PERFECT FOR RENTAL CAR TRAVELLER”
I chose this guest house out of these reason: 1. free parking (most parking in NAHA is cost at least 700yen per night) 2. cheap price for couple nights stay. 3. private bath room in each room shared with 6.

99% recommend it. Everything is great, but hard to sleep.”
Staff spoke amazingly good English, and were really nice about it too. At other hostels the staff will be kind of upset if I am bad at Japanese, whether they speak English or not. They gave great advice about things to do. They helped me find an all-you-can-eat wagyu beef shabu shabu. This should have been the first place I stayed at in Okinawa. It is the perfect base camp, thanks to the staff. Wifi is good. Locker was big enough for my 40 liter backpack. Toilets and showers are great. Laundry machines available. Full kitchen. I could almost live here... but the beds were squeaky and kind of hard. I couldn't sleep, even with earplugs.

Value for money and comfortable ”
I stayed in single room for 3 nights. Is value for money, clean, nice and cozy. The locations is nearby the Tomarin port but is far away from the monorail station and Naha Airport. Take the bus no. 99 from Naha Airport and the bus fare about ¥230 and alight at Tomari Station, The most nearby tourist attractions is Kokusai street walking distance about 1.7m and it takes about 22mins walk. Good for budget choice

5min walk from Tomari port”
Room is very clean and comfortable, common area is very cosy and there are 2 washing machine and dryer available to use at minimal cost. Easily accessible from Tomari port for those who plan to visit Kerama or Tokashiki island. 5min walk to the bus stop of Yanbaru bus that depart to Churaumi aquarium, Motobu Port (Ie jima), and Nakijin castle. Convenient shop located right in front of the hostel. We would like to thank all the staff for the warm hospitality, in particular Hiroshi, who assist me with my request.

Great value”
Great value -- stayed both in the private rooms and in the female dorm, and both were great options. There is AC and it's clean. In the dorms, there are privacy curtains so you won't be disturbed by the light. Staff was very nice and helpful - in particular Asuki who helped me book a day of diving at a very late notice. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Naha.

Nice, clean and great location if you're going with the ferries”
This place is really nice and clean. However, if you want to explore Naha it's a bit off. If you're going with any of the ferries from the harbor it's great though.

Nice quiet area near the fish market and wharf”
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable to recommend activities to do. Full kitchen facilities free for all to use. Whale watching is cheaper for The Place's guests. Got an upgrade from twin room to deluxe twin room with a wharf view. Good backpacking culture - nice area for everyone to interact. Family mart convenience store, veg and fish market is nearby. Bicycles available for rent cheap at 100 yen per hour. I will come back again next year.

Excellent”
Had a great time staying at MyPlace. The staff was extremely helpful with my questions, the facilities are all clean and work well, and the discounts on water sports are great! All the travelers I met were also extremely friendly, and the hostel provided us with ample space to mingle. The only downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way from the monorail and main street of the city. All in all, would definitely recommend staying here.

Value for money but slightly inconvenient location”
The price is extremely value for money and I would recommend getting the double room as it is a lot better than the bunk bed. The place is generally comfortable with a nice living room on the first floor. The staff are mostly made up of interns so they might not be familiar when it comes to recommending interesting locations around the area, but they are extremely helpful with bookings and hospitable. The place is clean but slightly inconvenient. It is opposite a cemetery and there's a convenient store just 2 minutes walk away. The nearest train station is around 15 minutes walk and there's not much restaurants or food options nearby. It would be good if you had your own vehicle as this hostel is very near the expressway. If you had your own rented car, this place would be perfect. Very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider it again next time!

Hoping for consistent customer service”
I have stayed here regularly since 2015. There are many things I like about this hostel/guesthouse such as the location and lounge/living room. However, unfortunately, there is no consistency in terms of customer service. One of the most important elements of running a business and in this case, managing an accommodation, a hospitality business requires customer service skills. Most staff members will have fluctuating manners. Only consistent professional customer service skill has been shown by Asuke-san. The rest of the staff members will sometimes ignore the guests depending on their mood. That is not professional at all. I did notice a staff member Mami who seemed nice and professional at first but she changed quickly after a while. I think she may be influenced by the someone at the office. I recommend training to educate some of the staff members about hospitality industry practices and customer service. But, all in all, I recommend this hostel to travelers to Naha.

Awesome”
My friend and I had a great time for two days! Although it is abit far from airport, people can take bus or driving here. But we reached here by bike. It is really relaxing and luckily we met many nice people here. There are beautiful beach near the guesthouse, walking for around 10 minutes only. If you want snorkelling nearly you will be better to make an order earlier. The stars are beautiful, we can watch them on the rooftop. Thank you for everything, Okasang and Paula! Nice to meet you and meowsss!

Room with amenities are Very clean and we have à Good view of the port/sea. Staff are very friendly n helpful. They were Quick to help in arranging tours n taxi’s to AirPort. However location is far from shopping centers n market Place - About 20 mins walk. Only the Fish market is abt 8 mins walk n this is another attraction here. Can buy fresh Seafood n cook at the hostel living room - à great plus!
