Super clean, well located and cozy hostel ”

This guest house is absolutely spotless and has a really nice Japanese character to it with many nice ornaments and decorations on display. The shower rooms, equipped with body wash and shampoo, are very spacious and again very clean. A nice quiet location that is very close to Canal city and the old town. The bed was extremely confortable. The staff were very pleasant as well. Highly recommended.

Nice Japanese style stay in Hakata.”

Location is very good. 15min's walk from Hakata station and 2min's walk to the Kusuda J Shrine ,the atmosphere is amazing in the night, worth a night visit! Also very close to the shopping area - Canal city, walk thru Kusuda Shirne and get there.Staff are kind and polite. Though the room is little bit small but clean and cozy.

    Guest House Nakaima Review”

The hostel is located at the heart of Hakata. Very accessible to almost everything - subway stations, malls, shrines, temples, etc. I enjoyed my stay not just because of how clean the place is but also how friendly the receptionists are. Their green tea is a must-try!!! Highly recommended! If they only have a theme night, guests' experiences could have been more memorable.

Location is exceptional. Sakura dorm room is very small and crowded. ”

Hostel is very close to Hakata station by only 3 bus stops. Complimentary coffee and sufficient kitchen wares are kindly provided. Toilet, sink, and bathroom are extremely clean. The thing to criticize is the size and poor ventilation of dorm room, meaning specifically that the room is very small, compact, and stinky.

Located in the heart of Fukuoka. Near shopping centers, shrines, and temples. Wonderful staff and serves great green tea. Very tasty and one of the best teas I have ever tasted. Too small from the outside but spacious in the inside. Thank you for making my stay a memorable one. Will visit you again soon!!! Mata ne, Guest House Nakaima!

    Home away from home”

    Clean, Warm & Home Feel

The place is more a typical Japanese home feel than a hostel. The place is very clean and relatively quiet. If you are not a party goer, this is a good place to be. Although the place is a little off the main street, but it is not too difficult to find. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay in Guest House Nakaima.

    Clean, young, high class hostel

A very good choice for student travellers, pay less but accommodate good. I met young girls from Korea and Thailand, boys from Korea. We are the only family. Don't be afraid it is located in a quiet residential area but in fact just 10 mins from the crowds.

good location because I can walk to Hakata station, Gion subway and Tenjib by walking less than 5-15 minutes. The hostel is very clean and is at quiet area.

I can walk to Hakata subway to take JR train to go everywhere in Kyushu because I bought Kyushu pass. The hostel is very clean and is at quiet area. I can by food and drinking from convenients stores around the hostel about 1 kms.

Very clean hostel in good location”

    Clean, good location, cheap

Nice hostel, very clean and in a good location in central Fukuoka. It is on a small quiet street near some temples and also near the Gion subway station. The area is between Hakata, the main station (a 10 minute walk or one stop on the subway) and the main shopping/restaurant area Tenjin, (a 15 minute walk). The rooms and showers were very clean and the staff were friendly and spoke English.

The hostel seem new and the place is bright, clean and arty, with pretty paintings, statues and lightings. Shower is spacious, toilet is comfortable. This far exceeds my expectations of a backpackers. Wi if was strong, check in and out was fuss free. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    clean, comfortable, home sweet home

i think this is a very comfortable and clean hostel, suitable for youth and back-packers, the host is very nice, but with limited english. However, u can still communicate with the manager of the hostel, which is a nice young lady. Also, I like the kitchen area, a place that you can relax, enjoying internet, food, as well as chat with friends.

    Clean, quiet, good location. ”

The hostel is clean and the staff are friendly. It’s near Kushida Shrine ( very beautiful) and Tocho-ji Temple. Nakasu is nearby, you can try yatai and walk around the red light area. Not suitable for shopping though, Tenji is a bit far. (Canal city and Hakata station are the nearest shopping mall. ) If the lower bunk bed can have higher space, that would be good!

    Very nice little guest house”

Guest house facilities were very clean and new. Room was a little tiny with 6 people and 3 bunk beds (I had to pack my luggage outside in the corridor with the lack of space) but it's perfectly alright as just a place to sleep and shower! Location is pretty good too - close to Gion Station, or just a 15 minute walk from Hakata Station.

Wonderful service. My luggages are really heavy. The owner help me carry my things up to my room. It's nice that you know the bed you sleep in is clean because before you leave you have to bring down the blankets.. If you carry lots of stuffs like me then it is hard to bring upstairs but other than that everything wonderful 🤗🤗🤗

Staff is friendly and helpful, I slept well, location is perfect. Prices are fair. Women must sleep in another room, they make too much noise with their plastic bag and this can jeopardize the quality of this place.
