Amazing guesthouse & staff!”
It’s near Hakata Station so it’s very accessible, it’s also just a 7-10mins away from the airport by taxi. It’s near convenience stores too & supermarkets that closes until 12midnight. The staffs are so nice!!! They are really helpful and we had nice conversations too. All basic necessities are provided & available. There maybe common places for guests like bathrooms, toilet & dining area but it didn’t feel crowded. It was actually nice coz you will meet new friends. All in all, it was a great place to stay! I’ll book this place again when I’m back in Fukuoka!

Reasonable price but smaller than we expected”
all the facility is ok except for the stair and the room, the room is too small for 2 people, especially if you bring huge suitcase. you need to bring with pretty vertical stair till 3rd floor maybe around 10 meters vertically. the communal room is clean, and the staff also friendly.

We had a great stay!”
The hostel is about 10-15 mins walk from the station but it was complete and clean! The room is also big for the 4 of us. The owner was nice too and even upgraded our room so we didn’t need to transfer after our first night. Will be staying here again if we come back to Fukuoka.

Quaint Guest House on Quiet Side of Fukuoka”
Quite a walk from station and main road. Japan is safe at night. Nightlife and small izakaya abounty near the area. Near bus stop to main attractions too. Shower facilities are nice. Went on October so it;s fairly cold but the rooms are quite heated so it's fine.

Unprofessional Owner/Receptionist ”
Waited 45minutes to get checked in. Was offered to upgrade my room and pay the difference. Then after an hour I was bumped to another room (a sharing room). I demanded a refund and was given to me. But the room he gave me which was supposedly should be females only, after couple of hours there were males coming in and occupying some of the bed. It’s very frustrating and I was very tired but couldn’t rest and relax because I just can’t put my guard down. Very disappointing experience.

Great value single room, but with thin walls”
The bed was comfortable and clean, and large enough to open my carry on luggage. Very convenient area, though the roads can be confusing at times. Host was helpful, helping me carry my heavy luggage to the third floor even though there was a language barrier - he often checked if I doing okay, and even loaned me a fan to use in my room which I really appreciated! There is free iced water available (and green tea, if you want), and a fridge if you want to store your food :) The corridor/lounge area is comfortable with a full length mirror and hair dryer if you need it. However, the walls are very thin, and as the room is not fully enclosed (there was a small slot at the bottom and top of the door - weird), you can clearly hear chatter from the other guests. Once, I went back at night and the corridor lights were switched off. It was a little unnerving, but otherwise I do recommend it for a short budget stay near JR Hakata station.

Friendly host, clean guesthouse, and good location”
My mom and I booked at the last minute (before 8pm) when we didn’t catch the shinkansen to Shin-Osaka. The guesthouse is a relative 8-10 minute walk from Hakata Station, around 800m I think. We were welcomed warmly by the owner and helped bring our luggages upstairs. They don’t have elevators, so if you have heavy luggages and would bring them up yourselves, it might be a bit of a challenge. We had the triple room consisting of a double deck and a pull out bed. It was very comfy, the sheets are clean, and the room is warm enough for a good sleep. The rooms are not separated by thick walls from ceilings to floor so we bit of woke up in the middle of the night due to some noisy neighbors arranging their luggages. But all in all it was a good, comfy sleep worth your bucks. A Family Mart convenience store is also a stone throw away so you don’t have to worry about getting hungry.

Absolutely a pleasant stay”
Guesthouse has a convenient location which near Hakata station only with 7-10mins walk distance. Nearby, there are supermarket, coin laundry, convenient store and drug store. Both toilet and shower are clean and comfortable to use. The guesthouse owner is very nice and welcome. My flight was delayed n I arrived there around 10:30pm. The owner still patiently waited for my arrival n gave me a warm check-in process. He can communicate with Japanese, English and Korean. I do recommend single traveler to try this guesthouse if u travel to hakata with limited budget. Here is a great choice for you.

I love this place! There are near Hakata Station walk from Exit 17 just 10 minute lawson and family mart nearby~ I love that i can meet/talk with people at the lounge and got friends 😂. Boss is friendly. When i come back to fukuoka i will stay this place again

10-minute walk from Hakata Station”
PROS: Kind and accommodating staff. Place feels like home with large seats, table and a TV near the main entrance door. Has clean shower and comfort rooms. Can be walked from Hakata Station (like 10-15 minutes). Located in a residential area with some convenience stores nearby. Wifi is strong.Beds are big and comfortable. Heater works fine. CONS: Room is quite small for luggages, even for small ones. No elevator but an old guy will help you carry your things.

Hostel with the Necessities”
I stayed for two nights and the hostel was able to provide me the necessities. The staff provided a map on how to find the hostel, better if you pass by Exit 17 of Hakata Station. The rooms were okay and the bathrooms were clean. Water was also available. The owner was kind and explained things well.

Lack of facilities lead to inconvenient stay.”
Propose of Stay: JR Travel Near JR Hakata station. Very convenient location for JR rail travel in Kyushu area. However, there was no curtain for each beds, not so comfortable to change underwear. Plus, lack of laundry devices (both washer and dryer) made very inconvenient for doing laundry.

Very sweet place”
The owner is a Korean who is super nice. He always chats with guests and shares his food and drinks. The facilities are very clean and comfortable. Though it is a little bit far from JR station and not easy to find on map. I am sure I will come again. To clarify, checkin later than 8 pm is possible. The owner always stays late with guests.

Everything is good. The location is perfect, not too far from Hakata station. I just did not much satisfied with the upper bed position and size. I got the bed with my head face to the lamp, so it was distracting when someone turned the light on/off. The size of the upper bed was also small.
