Just 5 minutes’ walk from Cronulla Beach, Guesthouse 83 is situated in the heart of Cronulla's beach culture. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and included breakfast and dinner. All rooms include a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV, bed linen and towels. Each room offers access to a modern shared bathroom. Guests receive free tea and coffee upon arrival. Don't expect too much”
The place is acceptable, although at $130 a bit overpriced for the quality. The room has absolutely no insulation, and the cold draft from outside was quite intense, I can imagine heat is probably equally unbearable in summer. There is a lot of noise from the street and the surrounding rooms. Bring your eye mask and ear plugs. Overall, the room and (shared) toilets are clean which is most imporant. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Not sure if I'd visit again, considering the quality is of places half the price. Unfortunately, there was no other choice at the time. But I can't say I had a terrible experience.

This place is good if you want to be able to walk down to the beach and shops. No parking on site but there is in the surrounding streets. Initial thoughts was that the place was old and the hallways were a bit smelly but the room was clean with a very comfortable bed and good fluffy towels. Didn't have the dinner offered but it smelt good! If I wanted a clean basic place to stay I would recommend here.

Cheap and cheerful guest house to rest in budget accommodation ”
Perfectly ok for the money. Breakfast was basic and dinner was small but really nice. This is not a holiday destination location but if your local and want a cheap place to stay and some food then this is perfect. It’s clean, a good size and good value for money. Would stay here again if I needed a stop though. Lots of older people and not much atmosphere so don’t stay if your looking to party...

Good location. Reasonable value (I think was a little more expensive because of Easter long weekend). Staff very friendly and helpful. Very committed to their jobs. Dinner and breakfast provided with street side parking available. Rooms are basic and comfortable enough. Would definitely stay again.

It's a guesthouse because the rooms are not ensuite, but the bathrooms are very spacious and quite new and always clean. I got a txt from the manager where to find my key before arrival, which was very convenient and reassuring. Unusually, the dinner is included and every time I had it, it was absolutely delicious. I would just mention that I think that it is also used as temporary accommodation for people on social benefits (or similar) but that didn't bother me at all.
