It was our adhoc booking of the same day. We only search for the most nearest and affordable accommodation to the Kawaguchiko station. So we simply book room that meet our criteria. To our surprised, the guesthouse exceed our expectation. Very good location; approximately 200m from Kawaguchiko station Room is spacious & clean Bathroom & toilet are clean & complete Host are very polite, helpful & English fluent - she explain the places of interest, activities & eatery around Kawaguchiko Simple breakfast is included therein Coffee, tea & hot water is provided foc Lots of eatery & convenience store nearby Definitely will come back!!! Am very very very happy with the accommodation.

The location is perfect. It only takes around three minutes from the station. Staff are nice and helpful who can speak well English. The size of the room is fair. Bathroom is very clean with shampoo and hair dryer provided. Also, there were free coffee, oven, microwave oven and tableware. They provided free breakfast too! Nice!

Me so much in loves with Fujinokura. Very helpful, kind hearted, soft spoken staffs. Location so near to station, just a few steps. Very easy to find. The room and shared bathroom so clean!!! Will come again in future. For sure!!

Excellent location”
Location is excellent, it is right outside the train and bus station which makes it easy for you to travel especially when you have a lot of luggage. It is about 10+ mins walk to the lake. Go to the lake area for more food options! Room is overall clean, but the cupboards (where the mattress, blankets, pillows are kept) seem a little dusty inside. Toilet is clean! Breakfast is simple; a piece of bread and soup. Staff is friendly, they try their best to help! (:

During booking for short stay, I donot expect much on this Guesthouse, price is low compared to others hotel in this area. But amazing, room is big(but a bit smelly), locations is good (opposite Kawaguchiko station), provide free breakfast, have free water+coffee/tea outside room, washing machines, bathroom utilities.....

We booked a tatami style room, complimentary breakfast was nice, the place have a ramen resto. staff was really kind and helpful, they have a bike rental cheaper than other rental place(house guests have a cheaper price). Highly recommended!!!

First visit to Fujisan staying @ Fujinokura”
The guest house is next to the Kawaguchiko Station (bus and train - to and for Shinjuku/Tokyo), Fujinokura is a walking distance away (500m+) from Lake Kawaguchi, The service of the guest house is fantastic. warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Just outside the guest room bathrooms and toilets. In front of room have microwave. water cooler and refrigerator. Btw, guest house also serves light breakfast with bread, salad, coffee and soup (with table number labeled to your room. meaning you don’t have to queue or wait).

Convenient and Friendly”
The facility and bathroom area was a bit outdated but clean. Considering it is a Japanese family styled hotel, I think it was acceptable. Breakfast was simple with no charge. The hotel was about 2 minutes walk from the Kawaguchiko Station and about 7 minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. The hotel crew members were exceedingly friendly, and their English was good enough to communicate. When it rained, free umbrellas were lent. It is required to check out by 10:00. But, luggage storage is free of charge until 3:00.

easy to find, nice staffs, clean toilets, have a washing machine and dryer, very near to kawaguchiko station, free breakfast. room is spacious. shampoo, soap, towel, coffee, sugar, hot water, fridge all provided the partition is thin so need to keep our voice down. as i bring little kids, my neighbor got annoyed (sorry about this)

The place is clean and staff polite and helpful. The biggest drawback is the walls are really thin. It's your luck of the draw what type of neighbors you get. We stay for two nights. First night, the neighbors are loud and sound to be on video streaming with someone in Thai, singing happy birthday songs and chatting nonstop. After I run across one of the residents in the hall way and request that they tone down since it's past 11pm, it becomes a lot better. The second night, our next door neighbor, is an extremely quiet Taiwanese young man. Hear nothing all night. Also, if there are more rooms available, you may want to request not to stay at the room by the women's shower room. Traffic can be noisy depending on the time of the day or night.
