One of my best stays”
Hotel location was perfect 5 mins walk from city centre and bruges famous POIs. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. wifi was steady and strong. Finally the staff were so helpful and so polite. Will definitely stay here if I visit Bruges in the future.

Beautiful house, but. . . .”
We found the lack of A/C difficult during the hottest days of the year, as the sun shone on our room all afternoon. The only way to cope with the heat was to open the windows fully to get what little breeze there was. The one tiny fan was inadequate.
The road noise was terrible as this property is on a busy corner of cobbled streets. Would be fine in cold weather with Windows kept closed.
The room was huge but we had to move furniture to access one side of the bed more easily.
We had 60 steps from the front door to our room. All rooms on 2 nd or 3rd floors. Be warned - no lift and you will probably have to carry your own cases.
We were not impressed that the door was firmly locked on our arrival and no - one answered the bell. After waiting in a nearby cafe for over an hour we tried again - to no avail. Finally a phone call from a nearby shop to the guesthouse got the front door opened!
We did appreciate being able to do a load of washing.
On the quieter side of town with easy access to the centre of this wonderful town.
We would not stay here again, as we would choose somewhere quieter.
