Looks the room had re skin, but it totally is old house. The big problem is its shower, the water is not strong enough to use, not hot enough either. The shower head its very dirty.

Superb location, but more for budget traveller”
Everything was good except that the hotel was a bit dated, and you have to ask the reception to turn on the heater if you need to bathe at odd times. But you really can't complain for the price, and location is 2 mins to the Luodong night market.

Cheap but you will be getting exactly what you pay”
The hotel is very cheap, but you are getting exactly what you pay i.e. bare minimum. The room was very old in condition and the bed was hard. The Wifi is only located at the first floor so you won't get any if you stay in the upper levels. Location is pretty far from the railway station but near the night market which is the attraction of the city. The staff are nice and friendly, they helped me to book a cab for a good price in the morning when I requested them to.

Far from train station. Close to night market”
The hotel was located about 20-30 minutes walk from Luodong Train Station. The room insulation is poor, the noise from the corridor is loud as the floor is ceramic tiles which reflects the noise of people talking along the corridor. The hotel is near to the night market, about 5 minutes. Turn left when you exit the hotel entrance, then turn right at first T-junction, walk straight for less than 5 minutes, to the night market. There is a nice bakery along the way to the night market. There is hot water water provided in the room. The hotel only provides one large bath towel for two persons.

Nice family style hotel with friendly staffs”
The check in and check out process was very easy. Staffs are very friendly and care about us. The owner treated us ice and fruits and so eager to help. We are very happy with this hotel. This is a standard room but really big. The 2 queens size beds are very comfortable. The blankets and pillows are down filled so it's very comfortable and warm. The price is not expensive but with such a good room.

Bare Essential”
15-20 minutes walk from Ludong Station. Quite close to Nightmarket. The room has Bare Essential. The air con is centralize and almost nonexistence. The bed is very hard. Cant ask too much for the price you pay.

Sightseeing trip”
The hotel is reasonably basic and is only useful for somewhere to sleep (no restaurant, pool etc). It is located 15 mins walk from the train station, but only 5 mins walk from the bustling night market. The hotel staff spoke some English and were very helpful. You are not able to rent scooters without a Taiwanese work visa, but the staff were able to find a freind who rented electric scooters. Not the speediest vehicles around, but at least it was better than walking! So it meant I was able to explore the coast, which was nice.

The stay at Guo Chen Hotel is enjoyable as it is near to the places of interest around Luodong. The hotel is also next to the famous Luodong Night Market as well as the town shopping district. A upon reaching the hotel, the staff was very welcoming and immediately points to us the places of interest around the area without us even asking. The only downside was us not staying long enough in Luodong to cover the places which the staffs highlighted to us.

Boss and staffs are very friendly, told us where to go for sighseeing and what to eat. Lend us bicycle to travel around. However the bed is hard. afterall, it is a nice place and worth the price.

Satisfactory and good value for money. The family room was large with 2 double beds, comfortable for 4 persons. Cleanliness was ok, but the mattresses were very hard. No breakfast provided. For hot shower need to call front desk to on the gas. Hotel owner was very nice & friendly.

the hotel is situated in the middle of the luodong night market. it's very convinient to go anywhere. the recep was very friendly and helpful, even offered us umbrella when it was raining at that time. the only setback was the hard mattress. overall was a nice stay. value for money.
