We liked the location, 10 minutes from Hua Hin city (we have a car) and a few attractions nearby and the staff helped to make sure our stay was pleasa...

A living area, separated bedroom, the large bath, a pleasant walkway to a simplistic gazebo where I had many coffee.

Awesome runaway hotel”
It was really a joyable stay at AKA Guti, my children were really love this resort, they are play all day long with the private pool. and staff was really nice and helpful, you can as receiption to help arrange sightseeing around Hua Hin, safari and adventure park is a great choice. The room service is a little bit high, but you can use shuttle bus provided by hotel to go to downtown to enjoy great seafood there.
we have stayed the aka hua hin which was absolutely amazing. the guti is just as good. the 2 bedroom pool villa is a bargain if you are going with friends. they are very comfortable and luxurious. the living area would be better if there was a proper sofa, and they would benefit from a proper bar and restaurant. overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the guti.
An oasis to hide away from the bustle”
we travelled as 2 couples so the 2 bed pool villa was perfect. whilst the location is about a 20min drive from the main road in hua hin, considering how peaceful it is there, i would consider it worth it. the 2 rooms were large and linked together in the middle by the living room area. both rooms and the living room over looked the infinity pool (a nice touch). although the villa's are private, our pool was over looked by other villas. not an issue as we didn't see any one. having stayed at the aka resort, i wouldn't chose guti again unless i got another great agoda deal. the rooms in the resort are nicer and cheaper with the same amount of privacy.
Good Value Resort”
The resort is quite far from Hua Hin town centre and good only if you drive by yourself. Of course taxi can do the job but seems like taxi are not that much by comparing with Pattaya and Phuket. On the other hand, with a car, you can also save money by travelling by yourself instead of joining local tour (like the vinyard, it's nice to have a lunch there!!)and travel to & back BKK to HH. Service in resort is nice and lovely!! Staffs are helpful! Environment is good too, nice & quiet with nice natural view. It is good for being lazy in the resort. About the hardware in the resort or the villa, I would comment that it was very nice when new but some minor points (not the public area) show maintainence is not enough. It may be one of the reason its rate is relatively lower. However, these do not affect much and not really major issue. It is more like comparing a 5 stars new hotel with a 5 years old 4 stars hotel. In general, with limited budget but want to have a quite & relax holiday and prefer a pool villa, Guti should be the best choice in Hua Hin Thanks!!
nice Thai architectures and decorations.”
lovely thai style architectures, nicely decorated. friendly staffs with smiling faces, not speaking good english though. the hotel pool is huge and not much guests there when we arrived, no staff there either. they don't serve buffet breakfast everyday but they can drive you to aka next door. sharing the shuttle service to hua hin town with aka as well so have to pre-book the service early otherwise they can only help to call up taxi for which is not worthy. not much choice in it's own restaurant so i prefer to go to the town. overall it was cosy, relax and comfortable stay.
Secluded and privacy”
This was the first time we stayed up in the mountain in Hua Hin. Usually, we stay closer to the beach. However, this paid off. The resort is quite further away from the beach but it's worth driving because it's so quiet and secluded. All we can hear at night is the sound of nature. The room is spacious and full of amenities. We LOVE the pool at our pool villa. We definitely come back. The main pool of the resort is spectacular. Great place to view the sunset while dipping ourselves in the water.
Great hotel for privacy with a lovely service”
Overall loved the hotel stay but most cab drivers from BKK wouldn't know how to get there because it is quite deep towards the mountains (nearest landmark is Black Mountain water park). The map the hotel provides is overly simplified and it isn't as close to the city as they make it out to be. This means that if you need to stock up on food for the night (especially if you have kids) it's a good idea to stock up before arriving at the hotel. Last food service is at 10.30pm and the breakfast offering is ala-carte. We were lucky and got a free upgrade to a two-room villa when they realized my mum was with us (plus baby). The villa was spacious and generally family friendly. Very, very peaceful but far in and the road to the hotel is only accesible by car and is very very dark. More signages would be useful too for drivers that aren't familiar with Hua Hin.
Great gems, private and stylish alternative to beach front hotels in a beach town”
I've returned here a few times and it is still remains one of my fav places. All the staff and services are outstanding and attentive without being intrusive to your privacy. Love being in a beach town like Hua-Hin but having option of a mountian hideaway retreat. This time the facilities score is lower as I feel some key things needed maintainance like the main pool was a bit murky and sandy and my bathtub tap was mal functioning but they were fixed quickly. Could also give options to not-so high pillows as the ones they have are a bit thick and too high for the neck. But those glitches aside, we had a fabulous stay and will come back again.
Excellent way to relax”
Staff members are friendly and nice. Hotel provides shuttle bus service which is pretty good for me (9am, 10am, every hour from 1pm-9pm). I took taxi for convenience sometimes. Taxi fee from Hua Hin clock town to hotel is around 300 thb one way. Insects and amphibians can be seen in the hotel which is very normal for a natural place. Mosquito repellent was good enough to protect me free from any insect bite during the visit. Swimming pool is clean and is equipped with chorine disinfection.
nice & quiet place to stay ”
We stayed two nights there. it was very quiet place and also quite convenient to travel to the center of Hua Hin area by car. it took us only 10 mins from the hotel to Hua Hin however if you don't have a car, I will not recommend you to stay there.
wow! possibly the nicest hotel i've ever stayed in”
This place is a little far from Hua Hin but they can arrange free transport there which doesn't take too long. The pool villa was gorgeous and you could walk straight from your bedroom into the pool. They had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The staff were very friendly and kept away enough so you could have a lot of quiet time. The place doesn't get overly busy as there are not too many rooms so the shared infinity pool which looks out over the rolling hills is pretty much yours.
Beautiful resort, would recommend this place to anyone!”
The resort and room was just amazing, the staff were always very friendly and accommodating for all your needs. It's about a 15 minute drive to the main town and a free shuttle service is laid on throughout the day or a taxi is about 3/400 baht (£6/8). I really don't think you could find a better place for your money in Hua Hin.
Simple Luxury, Spacious Pool Villas”
The design and decor of AKA Guti is simple but well-thought out to create a comfortable and pleasant resort-like feel. Mountain views add to the serenity. Helpful and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was not the most amazing that I've had but above average. Great for people who want to explore other attractions of Hua Hin besides the beach.
The best in Hua Hin.”
Never found the best place like this in Hua-Hin. The staff so nice and very polite. And the food was so great. Even it didn't closed to the beach but this is why we choose to stay. The real relax and calm. The house for two-bedroom pool villa was awesome! Everything clean and beautiful. I' ll come back again for sure.
Relaxing, beautiful and comfortable”
This is my second time here and I loved it even more. It is nice to get away from it all here. In the evening we drove to Hua Hin and enjoyed what was there in terms of food. The staff are friendly, from the cleaners to the management and do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable. No problems at all.
It was the first time here at Guti and it was extremely difficult to find the place from the map provided via Guti Website, even the explanation through the phone from the hotel staff was so confusing. Finally, it took us almost 1.30 hours to be able to find the resort which we needed to restart from Hua Hin city and it took us totally 8 hours driving from Bangkok. The landscapes and the scenery of the resort were tremendous filled with the scent of nature. The room was decorated in Thai Traditional theme and it was a bit old. I booked 2 bedrooms villa but there was only one small TV in the living room. Also, the TV channel was available for only 11 channels. Besides, the shower and the bath were in the outdoor area which I was a bit scared to take a shower at night but the private pool size 3x10 m. was the only one best ever facility that was provided from this hotel. We enjoyed the pool very much indeed. Besides, the hotel staffs were very well trained except at the reception. The food for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was also tasteful. So far, it was one of the great experience for our family.
Quite Environment with Excellent Services”
Quite Environment which makes me so relax, beautiful sunset view in each villa and main pool which you can't miss. Excellent Service incl. bell, transportation, breakfast and cleaning. Definitely will back to stay when go to Hua Hin next time!
Beautiful hotel but very remote”
We loved the stay overall but a few things to note: 1. You're not in Hua Hin- it's a mountain about 20 minutes from town and no taxis know it; the ride up will be expensive 2. ThE google maps directions are totally wrong - you have to call the hotel and have them guide your taxi 3. The villas are very close together. We went at a non busy time so it was fine but if the resort had been full, your neighbors all around can see you sunbathing and swimming in your private pool 4. The free shuttle into town is extremely limited - doesn't start until noon and ends at 9:30pm so not convenient 5. The spa services are actually conducted at their sister resort and while they are extremely good, no one explains this to you when you arrive or book your appointment That said, the rooms are gorgeous, the food is very good, the spa services are incredible and the staff is very friendly. In hindsight, we probably would have stayed at one of the other resorts that are actually in Hua Hin and back up to the beach.
Very nice hotel ”
A good choice if you look for silent and peaceful area. Surrounded by trees and flowers. Remote from city centre of Hua Hin. Around 20 mins drive to night market. Spacious and clean villa with private pool. Good for couples to refresh. Staff are helpful.
Nice views, big rooms”
Exceently located nearby Black Mountain golf but some distance from Hua Hin centre. Very peaceful with few guests until Saturday night when filled up. Private pools are nice but they are not private like the other AKA resort which is also nearby. I would pick the other AKA for future trips for privacy over the views available from this one
