It seems no other guests in the hotel, but just us. It is very hard to reach the hotel even if we have a car, because it located on the middle of the mountain and the road is broken, you have u ride through the dark road. The private pool is not clean, many insects also swim in the pool, it is hard to believe if we swim inside, so we don’t swim, there are so many insects inside the room. And u have to reach to your room by a golf car at the reception, one night we back to the hotel, and we cannot see any staff here, and there are only 3 dogs here, we wait for 5 mins and fortunately the staff shows up to drive us to the room. It was so scary we cannot find staff at reception area, maybe a sign should posted to notice the customer the staff may return in a few minutes, because we thinking to walk to the room, but it was too dark
Everything went wrong”
First checked in to the hotel at around 5pm and was told during checkin that the restaurant is in the process of renovation and that we have to go for breakfast at the other AKA which was fine. We settled into our room at 5ish and planned on leaving the hotel to go for dinner at 7.30 pm.. during those time we had two air cons on and it turned out the bedroom aircon was not working therefore we had to change room at around nearly 8pm. Everything was okie during our stay up to the night before we were to check out, the water stop working. The water in the sink, shower or the toilet doesn’t work therefore we couldn’t flush the toilet throughout the night. When the morning came the whole water system in our villa turned out to be of red muddy colour with muddy smell. We ended up not able to shower because the water stunk of mud. The hotel need to go under serious renovation.
Old and they wanted to maintain well. Don't think she is not a good hotel, her breakfast, room service, and outdoor swimming pool were very good.
The location itself is kind of hideaway with greenery and moutain view. The private pool is very big.
Hot Weather Cool Villa”
Still the same word to describe – E X C E L L E N T. However, do not expect the same level of privacy as the double room villas. These single ones are spaced closer to each other. The single room villas are very large and comfortable as well. A living area, separated bedroom, the large bath, a pleasant walkway to a simplistic gazebo where I had many coffee. Pool was the highlight, and was also where I spent 70% of my life during the trip. The pool was where I stayed till my wife hauled me out. And having direct access from the bed room to the pool, I repeatedly took flight and plunged back into it again. Had my infant kid along. Delightfully, the villa provided sufficient escape and hiding spaces for me during those periods where diapers needed to be changed. The compound is mostly stroller friendly, except for some parts where we had to do some lifting to overcome stairs. I really enjoyed my relaxing stay and for a small family of 3, the single rooms will be ample.
Great gems, private and stylish alternative to beach front hotels in a beach town”
I've returned here a few times and it is still remains one of my fav places. All the staff and services are outstanding and attentive without being intrusive to your privacy. Love being in a beach town like Hua-Hin but having option of a mountian hideaway retreat. This time the facilities score is lower as I feel some key things needed maintainance like the main pool was a bit murky and sandy and my bathtub tap was mal functioning but they were fixed quickly. Could also give options to not-so high pillows as the ones they have are a bit thick and too high for the neck. But those glitches aside, we had a fabulous stay and will come back again.
nice & quiet place to stay ”
We stayed two nights there. it was very quiet place and also quite convenient to travel to the center of Hua Hin area by car. it took us only 10 mins from the hotel to Hua Hin however if you don't have a car, I will not recommend you to stay there.
Worth the money if you eat elsewhere”
We were looking for complete tranquility and found it here. The shuttle bu into town is hardly a burden and is available often enough to be satisfactory. The room was beautiful and mixed antiquity with a modern finish. We were very happy here. The restaurant however was dreadful and I would not recommend eating there. It is quite spectacularly overpriced for food of fairly average to low quality which is a shame because the overall experience at the hotel was excellent.
Very peaceful stay.”
It's very peaceful with comfort from the hotel room and facility. The hotel staffs were also very friendly and helpful. We almost didn't hear any noise/ voices from other hotel guests although there were almost 10 villas checked-in by the same day with us. Anyway, a bit upset from calling for dining in room due to no one picking up my call for room service till i had to call to lobby operator. And the road condition from main road to the hotel is a bit bad.
Relaxing, beautiful and comfortable”
This is my second time here and I loved it even more. It is nice to get away from it all here. In the evening we drove to Hua Hin and enjoyed what was there in terms of food. The staff are friendly, from the cleaners to the management and do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable. No problems at all.
Quite Environment with Excellent Services”
Quite Environment which makes me so relax, beautiful sunset view in each villa and main pool which you can't miss. Excellent Service incl. bell, transportation, breakfast and cleaning. Definitely will back to stay when go to Hua Hin next time!
it's a wonderful hotel. i was staying at 2 bedrooms type, and the size of swimming pool is big. the buffet breakfast is not at the guti resort, but the other side of AKA resort. not many kinds of food to choose, but the taste is quite good. the toilet is not inside the room under the air-con. some leaves may fall to the tube. there are some courses like yoga, thai boxing to choose during the stay. the location to the downtown cost 200 - 300 baht, 15 mins. advise to buy some food and beverage to the room for relax
Very private resort ”
I would have to say this this resort is hidden away in the Hua Hin Moutains. Deep inside small road. S the location is private. The non private issue is that the private pool is not private. Everyone can see you. They are infinity pools with no walls. The decor is quite plesent. Just don't leave the doors open, the Mosquitos are savage. Over all I reccoumend this locatin for couples.
Very cozy private resort.”
if you like nature, this is the place to relax and rejuvated. i personally like the way how this resort function, from the reception to the villa and the foods. my stay at aka guti resort was amazing and it so private and it paradise.
wow! possibly the nicest hotel i've ever stayed in”
This place is a little far from Hua Hin but they can arrange free transport there which doesn't take too long. The pool villa was gorgeous and you could walk straight from your bedroom into the pool. They had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The staff were very friendly and kept away enough so you could have a lot of quiet time. The place doesn't get overly busy as there are not too many rooms so the shared infinity pool which looks out over the rolling hills is pretty much yours.
Like the length and depth of the private pool however privacy will compromise when the resort is busy as we could see our neighbours on both side. Mountain view is nice although its a bit dry but the resort can compliment by keep the grass patch in the resort greener and the lagoon well keep and filled. It was half empty when we stayed there. Villa is lovely in the outside and grand inside. Switch to the pool is hidden under kitchen cabinet - weird. Should label the switch so guess don't have to call front desk to ask.
Resort at the hill.”
From Hua Hin centre to the resort driving up to the hill takes around 30 minutes. Part of hill road hasn't light at night. The room is huge and clean. Enjoy for relax on the private swimming pool. The cloth cushiond are full of birds droppings at the swimming bar.
Horrible experience ”
I think the hotel seriously need a renovation. It's old and not in a good way. The pool in the villa looks dirty, me and my wife didnt even dare to swim in it. The wood plank floor seriously need change it can be dangerous to children or even adult. The furniture in the room really is old and uncomfortable. Breakfast is acceptable but nothing fancy. I suggest if you are looking for a nice getaway, look elsewhere!
Good services and nice place to relax”
Cons. Far from the city if you come back at night Pros. Great place to stay
1 bedroom villas very large, staffs are friendly.
