Thee best place to stay at Phi Phi Islands”
The caretaker NALINA was the SWEETEST. loved every bit of the stay here. 100% recommended. Fresh towels, decent place. Decent bathroom. You can't expect five star service from a budget place. This place had WiFi, a great AC, decent sheets and a decent bathroom with hot water. Couldn't ask for more. I'd definitely go back

Basic but good”
Very basic room but for the price you can’t beat it. We originally booked 3 nights but added an extra night. It has a bed, toilet’ shower and it’s clean which is all we needed as we were out all day everyday. The staff are so nice and left us clean towels everyday along with bottles of water and toilet paper (which is rare in Asia). Location is good. Phi Phi is very small anyway but you’re away from the noise in this place. You can also use the pool in the Gypsy Seaview Resort which is a two minute walk away. Phi Phi is full off cats so there’s a couple that hang around the hotel but they are all very friendly :)

Nice quiet location. You get what you pay for”
We stayed in a very basic room down a corridor. We did have a window but because of where the room was situated it didn't let much light in & so the room was a little gloomy. The room was clean and you are provided with toilet paper, towels and water & the room was fitted with aircon. They also offer a laundry service which was good. The wifi didn't work for us but this was not a major issue. Its a little walk from the pier, around 10/15 minutes but the plus side to this is it is silent at night (apart from the occasional drunken person making their way home). I didn't mind the location as the walk was a nice stroll in the mornings/evenings & you're pretty central to the party beach, viewpoint & pier. Its not great value for money generally for Thailand but on the Phi phi Island it isn't bad, especially having access to the pool next door!

Did the job but very basic room”
Room is basic. Did the job for us but for the cost there must be better on the island. We did like how it was tucked back away from the main party strip so it was quiet and a closer walk to long beach than if we were on the other side of the island. Staff was super friendly. Laundry available. Cleaned our room daily. Big porch to hang out or dry clothes. Fan and AC worked well. Hot water in the shower. TV. Only real con in our eyes was the amount of ants in the room. Would recommend if you're not picky and just want a simple place to rest your head at night that's close enough to the action but slightly tucked away.

Worst Expereince!”
May be we got the wrong room here but there were other rooms which was facing outdoors. Our room was inside an alley and had no windows. Internet wasn't available and it was very dark be it day or night. Moreover, its very far from the main area. I would suggest not to book this at any cost.

Good budget stay”
Budget rooms are very simple, but all needed inside - good aircon, clean bathroom and bedding. Also you can use Gypsy resort pool (nearby). Great location, quiet but just a short walk from the beach of nightlife. When you check in, mind you need to go to reception of Gypsy Resort (when hot, walking here and there is not a great pleasure 😂

Encantadora la recepcionista. ”
No está en el centro, por lo que no hay muchos ruidos, pero está cerca de todo. La chica del hotel era un encanto, preparó la habitación con mucho mimo y flores y nos recibió con un tecito. Además podíamos usar la piscina del hotel de al lado que era todo un lujo. Nosotros encantados con nuestros días allí.

Location was close enough to walk to all the action in 7 min and far enough away from it for a peaceful sleep. They being said, the owners across the pathway were doing garden maintenance quite early and it was loud.

Terrible”
Terrible place, I spent one night there and asked to upgrade to a room Gypsy Sea View Resort (which was good). There were insects eating the wood, in the room, a hole in the bathroom, no fridge, rubbish around the room. Do not book this Village.

Atrocious service, bad hygiene and awful location”
AVOID. NOT A THREE STAR HOTEL. OVERPRICED. One star at best. We were a group of three and stayed for three nights. The location was 30 mins (walking) from the pier and near the sewage and waste collection centre and smelled very bad constantly. There was a power outage near midnight and the air con worked poorly (leaked one night). There is no staff manning the desk after 6pm. The towels and bedsheets were stained, torn and the room was not made up daily (you have to request for cleaning of the room). The staff told us that we were checking out the next day and thus there is no cleaning of the room the day before. We slept badly from shouting coming from the corridor from 1am to 4am (no security) and developed rashes from the sheets. Overall, we would NOT recommend Gyspy Village 2 at all.
