The best hotel in southern Taiwan ”
My experience at H2O hotel in Kaohsiung city was extremely good. The staff came to pick us up at the High Speed Railway station and we were greeted by professional yet friendly staff from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and they prepared everything for us-from the bottles of water, handmade cookies, comfy slippers, support pillows on beds, stationaries, to the amenities in the bathroom...everything in the room was thoughtful and useful. They treated us to one drink per person at the bar and sweets and drinks at the lounge on the 19th floor with panoramic view of the city. The gym was small but well-equipped, suitable for every guest who feels like exercising a bit. Foods served at the breakfast were tasty and original, and we could order the main dishes for as many times as we wanted (though we only ordered twice with the buffet). They even gave us a box of cookies on the second night. The beds, pillows, and aircon were all comfortable and the water pressure as well as the bathtub were just perfect. Couldn't ask for more and would definitely stay here again when I have other chances to visit southern Taiwan. Highly recommended!

The property meets you with luxury hotel vibes as you enter. The staff were very friendly in explaining the check in and out process and the various facilities of the hotel. Great location, breakfast was decent but can be further improved for quality of food. Overall, great experience at h2o hotel!

Love this hotel! The only place to stay in Kaohsiung! ”
This time, the hotel didn’t have a spot available for one night of our three night stay, so we decided to spend one night here and try out two other hotels. I can now unequivocally state this is the best option, especially if you are looking for a more western style hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff pulls out all of the stops from the time you enter until you leave. We drove this time and the garage is meticulously maintained with easy parking and hotel access. The room service was delightful with relatively inexpensive wine selections for delivery. The hotel provides luxurious bathroom amenities, baby bed upon request and is in walking distance to several western restaurants. The only downside is that I wouldn’t call the pool super kid friendly. It’s nice and chic but not a lot of shallow areas for the kids and is attached to a bar area. Again, for couples or singles wonderful but with little kids just not super accommodating. However, this is easy to overlook because of all of the wonderful aspects of the property. Will definitely and if possible, only stay here in the future.

Great Service with quality”
The staffs are all nice with quality service. The decor, ornaments and facilities in the room are cozy and well-cleaned. I love the bathtub. However, the welcome drinks are just some blended alcohol not even cocktail. The gym is relatively small than other hotels. But overall, I would recommend H2O for the good location and nice accommodation.

If it weren’t for this hotel, there’s probably nothing best about this city! From checking in, staffs happily introduced every facility about this place and showed us to our room. The automatic curtains, mini bath tub and not to mention the awesome TOTO toilet to little sweet details on the tv monitor to show their warm welcome! Definitely worth our money…. 👍👍👍

Modern and Comfortable ”
The room is impeccable. The free beverage and snacks provided in room is generous. The open-aired Roof Bar is a bit chilled at night but a nice experience. The breakfast is good. We don’t think the order-to-cook main course is necessary as the salad bar is more than enough for us. If you like dessert it will really cheer you up as there are about 10 kinds of cakes and 3 flavors of ice creams available for breakfast. Parking is easy. MRT stations are within short walks. Several nice popular restaurants nearby. Overall it’s value for money.

Good for photos, but need a lot improvements…”
I have mix of feelings toward this hotel. It seems it’s a 5 stars hotel but need to either refurbish or improve the cleaning in my eye, we can see easily those stains or rusty in the bathroom, things getting mottled and a bit awkward smell despite their bathroom is so well decorated with a really nice tub. Service was good, but in a local style, i can see how they really want to provide good service but how the hotel is lack of personnel and proper training. The breakfast was a disaster with its open buffet and serving too many guests at the same time, the coffee machine and juice area was in a lack of maintenance, however, food was not bad. The famous transparent pool is only beautiful in photos, probably not for relaxing purpose. Overall I don’t feel it meets my expectation, probably not my option for my next trip to Kaohsiung.

PROS: The room was big and clean, the bathroom has separated shower room, toilet and bathtub which is awesome. CONS: We booked the Chinese restaurant at 2nd floor and was very disappointed, the food was great but there was lack of staffs and many of them were not well trained, it took very long time to have a wine bottle opened and we asked for a quiet seat because we have a sleeping baby but they gave us a terribly noisy one.

New and Spacious”
Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were attentive, helpful and professional in checking us in to showing us to our room and introducing the room's facilities. The breakfast staff were very helpful and professional. The room itself is spacious and new (the hotel was built recently). There was a TV infront of the bathtub which was great. The location is good with a Kaohsiung MRT station located about 5 mins walk, there is restaurants located within the hotel itself and downstairs around the hotel. There is also a 7-11 located 2 mins walk away. It was clean and well maintained and the rooms were very quiet which was excellent. The breakfast options were good with a semi-buffet on offer which is where you choose a mains paired with buffet options. There are 5 options for mains (can ask for more if you are feeling hungry), and then a buffet offering with Taiwanese, Chinese and Western style buffet with coffee, tea, juice, ice cream and desserts. All in all a good stay.

A new hotel with good facilities”
After stayed at Bali H2O this hotel in Kaohsiung really meet my expectation, despite the good facilities such as the roof top swimming pool, gym & executive lounge at 19th floor, the Hong Kong dim sum at second floor is delicious too. The only con of this hotel is the location of the hotel is not located in the city centre, and it doesn't have any MRT station near by, therefore you might need to consider taking a taxi to the nearest mall or point of attraction. The "Ripple" restaurant at the 20th Floor needed to be improve especially the breakfast, there is not much choice of food, coffee machine that run out of "coffee" and is not being re-fill for continuously two morning. Staff doesn't speak much English, therefore if you are not from a Chinese language speaking country, please do learn a few words for better communication. Overall is good, shall visit again in the future.

An Excellent Hotel worthy of repeat patronage”
This is a relatively new hotel in Kaohsiung. Rooms are comfortable but smaller relative to Traditional Taiwanese 5 Star Hotels such as Hi-Lai. Love the Japanese style Toto toilet. The strong water pressure makes showering a bliss. Breakfast spreads are limited but good quality. It would have been a perfect stay if the bed was bigger.

This is such a Nice Hotel ever seen in my life. With Great location, it is just about 10 mins to reach Railway Station, Night Market and Shopping Center. This will be my only choice among hotels if I Travel in Kaohsiung again.

A new, clean and stylish hotel but needs improvement ”
The overall rating is high. But the management need to review the service monitoring. I have paid for an extra bed but it was not arranged despite my reminder. I was eventually refunded and given a small gift. I feel the hotel attaches importance to customer service and hope they will improve.
