I selected this lodging for a trip with my large family (7 people). The reason I initially chose the Ryukyu Hotel & Resort was because they offered connecting rooms that can accommodate large families. As expected, my entire family loved the accommodation. Everything, from the location to the resort's landscaping and the staff's service, was perfect. During check-in, the staff provided kind and detailed explanations, and while moving our five large suitcases, they welcomed us with bright smiles, making us very happy from the first day. We ended our first evening listening to soft music and the sound of waves coming through the open window. (The entire accommodation overlooks the sea, so the view is simply fantastic!) On the second day, the breakfast was very delicious. My child has a small appetite and doesn't usually eat a lot, but they really enjoyed the breakfast here. There were plenty of foods that kids would like. (Additionally, there were juice options, three types of cereal, and three flavors of yogurt.) After the meal, there is a walking trail that leads to the beach from the resort, making it great for a stroll. There is a scheduled time for the fountain at the resort to operate, so don't forget to take family pictures with the fountain and the blue sea as a background. When we visited, only the outdoor pool connected to the indoor pool was operating. (It wasn't warm water, but it was lukewarm and good for swimming.) What impressed me greatly during my stay at the Ryukyu Hotel & Resort was the genuine dedication of the staff to cleanliness and tidiness. When I went to the pool, the staff continually checked the water temperature and quality, and I saw a staff member vigorously scrubbing the bottom of the pool. I also witnessed staff members cleaning around the beach sunbeds every morning. The sight of staff cleaning the lazy river was particularly impressive (it was quite a long lazy river, and they were diligently cleaning the bottom once the water was drained, using a measuring stick for something. I was moved by that). I returned after spending two days in this paradise-like place. Honestly, it was so nice that I didn't want to leave. I was very disappointed that I couldn't use all the outdoor pool facilities, including the lazy river, during my visit in February. (It is said to open in March.) If I get the opportunity, I will visit again and share my review. ^^ Thank you very much to Ryukyu Hotel & Resort at Nashirom Beach for creating wonderful memories for my family. I highly recommend this place. ^^
The Ryukyu Hotel was the perfect resort for relaxation in Okinawa. Perhaps because it recently opened, all the facilities were luxurious and clean, and both the breakfast and the food at the Japanese restaurant within the resort were excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation that includes breakfast for those who plan to visit the Ryukyu Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the parking lot was spacious, allowing us to park comfortably without leaving the car in the sun, which was satisfying. What impressed me the most was the amenities in the room. The subtle and luxurious scent seemed to permeate the entire resort, creating a more special stay experience. However, the location was somewhat disappointing. The resort is located at the southern end of Okinawa, so it is far from downtown attractions such as Naha International Street, American Village, and major tourist spots in the north like Manzamou, Churaumi Aquarium, and Jungle. Additionally, there is no convenience store within the resort, and it takes about five minutes by car to access one, making it difficult to reach on foot. Therefore, instead of staying here for the entirety of your trip, I recommend exploring the attractions fully and reserving the end of your schedule for relaxation and healing here. The room view was also a bit disappointing. Our room was on the 10th floor but located in the north wing, so we couldn't see the entire pool, and as of early September, it was not possible to enjoy the sunset from the room. However, stepping out onto the terrace provided a wonderful view of the sunset, and rooms closer to the center or those in the south wing would likely offer better views. Despite that, the Ryukyu Hotel can still be called a paradise on earth in Okinawa. The sea views from the higher floors and the sunsets enjoyed from the terrace were beautifully unforgettable. The quiet and private beach and the beautifully decorated pool were refreshing just to look at, even without going into the water. I had a truly comfortable and satisfying time, and if given the opportunity, I would definitely want to return to this resort. I highly recommend it.
This was my first time using the service. I was looking for a resort near the airport where I wouldn't need to rent a car, and I chose this one. ⭐︎ Access from the airport to the hotel I arrived in just 20 minutes! It was during Golden Week, but it wasn't too crowded. A taxi costs about 4,500 yen. If you take the airport-hotel limousine, it costs about 700 yen. ⭐︎ The room I stayed for two nights, and the weather was great both times. The ocean view from the balcony was truly beautiful and moving. I stayed in a Premier Club Twin room; it had a nice size and lovely blue-themed decor. However, there was a bit of a moldy smell when I entered the bathroom, which was a slight disappointment. ⭐︎ Lounge I had breakfast in the club lounge. It was like a bakery buffet, and choosing the bread was fun. Everything was bite-sized, allowing me to try various options. I especially loved the mini salted bread with mentaiko! I'm happy that I could enjoy alcohol at any time. There were options like champagne, red and white wine, Orion beer, and more. Most of them were easy to drink, which was great! ⭐︎ Beach and pool The beach had reclining chairs and umbrellas available for everyone to use. I could relax comfortably with the pleasant breeze and sound of the waves. I didn’t go in the pool, but I saw kids playing happily in the lazy river and kids' area, which was heartwarming. I thought I would like to come back here with my future children someday. ⭐︎ Access from the hotel There’s a bus called Umikaji Liner that departs from the hotel, making it very convenient for those who want to go to Kokusai Street, Umikaji Terrace, or the outlet mall! It’s definitely cheaper than taking a taxi. However, it can be quite bumpy, so those who get motion sickness may want to take some medicine. Also, the arrival time was about 30 minutes later than scheduled, so those in a hurry should be cautious. Overall, it was a wonderful resort hotel! I might regret not staying another night to fully enjoy a hotel stay. Coincidentally, there were fireworks on the night of my stay, making it an unforgettable memory. I would like to use this place again when I visit the main island!
Safest and cleanest pool for young kids. Life guards every corner you look. Floaties available to rent. Kids pool only knee deep. Indoor heated pool too that is shallow too. Kids play center with books and toys and movies. My kids love it!! We stay here twice a year!!

“Gorgeous getaway”
The resort itself is gorgeous and up to par in service and cleanliness. The beach is located in a National Park (nature reserve) and a dream - however, don't expect big waves or deep waters. If you venture out, the life guard will come after you and give you a friendly warning about the jelly fish. Traveling with a child, you come prepared and have enough snacks and everything you need in your luggage - but note that there's nothing in teh surrounding area. Not even a konbini, but a little market place inside the hotel. If you need anything that they don't sell, you're out of luck if you don't have a car. You can only dine with a reservation and Harey's terrace (it's the breakfast terrace in the AM) is somewhat underwhelming for the price. Highly recommend the afternoon tea in the lobby. Gorgeous treats and a symphony for your taste buds. Everything went extremely smooth - we had zero issues with anything thanks to great communication with the hotel staff. Beforehand I inquired about a couple of things and even arranged for a celebration plate for my daughter's bday at a restaurant and it was lovely and free of charge. The staff was very accommodating. The views are absolutely stunning and you can take a few good walks at the beach. There's hermit crabs everywhere. Bring beach shoes or rent them at the hotel. Recommend 8/10, lack of food options being the main reason.
