Really good hotel in Ha Long”

Upon entry, you can see that the hotel is well-maintained and clean. Room is also very clean. Staff are helpful. They go the extra mile to assist you with your needs from helping you with rebooking due to fortuitous circumstances to giving you tips on going around Halong to hailing and taking a cab. The hotel is also in a very good location especially if you want to be near the Bai Chay beach. It’s just a 3-5minute walk and a 10-minute walk to the beach clubs. It’s also easy to go the city center. Just request for a taxi or book a Grab. Overall, a recommended hotel! We also loved the interior. Wonderful stay! We’ll definitely book here when we come back.

Excellent Stay”

We booked this hotel for a group of 6 people for one night. While booking the hotel we had requested for airport transfer as well as one day Ha Long tour which the hotel staff ready accepted. All our queries related to the stay, airport transfer, tour and payment were quickly answered by the hotel manager on Whatsapp. The rooms were neat and clean with all the facalities. We easily checked-in late night without any hassle. They even upgraded a couple of rooms to higher category without any additional charges. The only thing is that the air conditioners (AC) were not quick enough to cool the room. It took more than an hour to cool the room to a decent temperature. The staff members were co-operative. However, there was some communication gap as they did not understand English quite well. We wished that at least the reception staff knew better English so that we could communicate in efficiently. The location of the hotel is also good with a beach just a walking distance away from the hotel. Also, the Ha Long tour was good. We left the hotel at 8.30 am and were back by 3.30 pm as per the itinerary. Again, the tour guide did not knew english very well and hence could not answer all our queries during the tour. All in all we had a good time at Ha Long Essence.

First trip in a while and i was not disapointed”

Super friendly and helpful staffs. Hotel got a boutique classsy design and pleasant scent. They assisted me in most of my activities here from meals to transportation basically. Hotel location is also a plus, easy to take a swim in the ocean and at night its quite and seclude.

Hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was helpful & friendly. Breakfast choice was limited but overall still ok to fill our stomach. Guess this is due to low occupancy rate. But no choice, due to covid, many restaurants nearby was closed down. But overall was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful staycation”

I was on a trip with my fiancé to the beach. I can say that staff handle situations pretty well even it’s a bit crowded. Me and my fiancé got offered to upgrade our room to deluxe room and the experience exceeded my expectations. Will return and book this hotel in near future once we go back to the beach.

Great hotel ”

This was a great hotel with wonderful staff. The staff helped me book a day tour at a fantastic price. They were so friendly and even gave my children a bag of candy to take with them! The room and hotel were clean with everything I needed for a great stay. The only negative would be the location with Covid going on. Since the decline of tourism, most of the hotels and restaurants around this hotel are closed down. Be prepared to walk or grab a taxi if you want to do anything in the town. This area of town is deserted for right now.
