2 weeks in Thai this was absolutely the best accommodation! Based on the pics in Agoda we were not expecting such a beautiful place. The superior room is huge, everything is super clean. The bed really comfortable. Outside of the room, large veranda covered (good in case of rain) with direct access to the pool. And few steps and you are on the beach, were Mr Ham will welcome you everyday with his smile, incredibly positive mood and funny jokes! The breakfast you will get an extraordinary amount of fruit compare to any other places we went. Being on the north of the island give you easier access to the best beaches. We will come back for sure!

Amazing”
It was an excellent place for us, we were surprised in the morning by having our breakfast looking at a beautiful beach. The people who work there are very friendly and the local food is good at reasonable prices. The rooms are large and comfortable. And if you need to clean the room you can request it without any problem. I would recommend it.

Beautiful place with a nice pool and a perfect-for-sunset beach in 15 meters. There are a lot of nice places nearby, like Senses. If you stop here, you should totally visit it!

The location was perfect on haad yao. the price was good thx to an agoda promotion... The swimming pool was huge but no sun chairs and even no possibility to sit close to the pool. There was a bad smell of sewer because of the laundry The lady, i think she was the boss was not kind. There were no fridge in the room and i ve asked to put some drinks in the fridge... she told me that it depends on my room number... my room number was ok but then it was not ok for beer...

A hotel with extremely bad service and arrogant and lazy staff. Otherwise nice location ans good restaurant. But it is really difficult to enjoy as the hotel staff spoils it for you quite tremendously.

Zero service and they made us miss our ferry. ”
In addition to forgetting about us completely, never cleaning the room, and strange vibes at the bar, they also totally screwed up our departure. After paying an over priced 400 baht to pre arrange a taxi to the pier the next day, the taxi driver was 45minutes late! After a high speed trip to the pier, we still missed our ferry and had to pay almost 3,000 baht for all new travel plans to make sure we made our flight. Overall this taxi situation was a good representation of the overall experience and attitude of the staff towards us

Middle of Haad Yao Beach, simple and confortable”
Location is perfect, middle of Haad Yao Beach, 7/11, shop, travel agency, ATM and restaurants is just next door. Room is simple but confortable, really spacious, big terrace/balcony. You can even do yoga there. Never tried the pool (not that big), because the sea is just so beautiful there. Seaview breakfast and beautiful sunset at the bar. Cleaning is upon request. English tv channels with great movies. Peaceful and quiet. We havent seen the stuff too much just at the bar (reception) but it was no need for them too much, jut when we needed extra toilet paper. If you dont need too much assistance and you need a cheap and nice big apartment by the beach, this is the place. We loved it.

Had yao resort Positives: Handy location, close to the beach with direct access. Good size room nicely furnished and decorated Comfortable bed and pillow Good size walk in hot shower Good tv channels Swimming pool Great value room rates on agoda - not cheap if you book direct or walk in. 100yrds to the 7-11 supermarket. Superb western food at "CRAVE" opposite 7-11. On site cafe serving average Thai food at prices that are cheap for this resort but the portions are small in comparison to other places. Areas that could be improved: No fridge in room Wifi only works in bar area No hangers for clothes Room not cleaned or clean towels at all during our five day stay Seems like anything you need you have to ask for and the response you get is a bit dependant on if they like you or not. We would return because of the location and cheap rates on agoda If you don't expect any sort of western customer service level and you will have a great stay.

Was the closest place we could book to full moon party as we left it late but was so happy as haad run is dirty but this resort is really nice

Hotel with mini pool and lovely resto/bar”
we stayed for only one night over fullmoon as other hotels we searched online were fully booked. but great hotel can arrange you taxi to full moon. staff are friendly and helpful. resto/bar quite cool. had yao beach is long and very pleasant! buy the air refreshener for fan-room stay, when it rains, the room though not small, but sting though well clean. pool is tiny, but better than nothing!

Not so bad, not so clean and if you want a beautiful beach with beautiful accommodation and willing to pay an extra 2-3 pound per night maybe have a look at HAAD YAO resort... I loved it their :) Nothing in comparison, hadd yao was soooo clean and beautiful also had white sand and a bigger part to the beach the haad salad just going on experience, hope this helps

Near impossible to leave”
Amazing stay. The staff are wonderful. They go out their way for you all the time and don't expect anything for doing so. Wonderfully accomodating. The location is great for couples or groups looking for a more rustic and chilled atmosphere in a predominantly family area of the island. The food is incredible. Had the best panang curry here and have been visiting Asia over 3 years. This resort has a great night atmosphere also. The music is upbeat but still ideal for the location and decor awesome at night. Recommend to try even just a couple of nights, you will book further guaranteed.

Great Value and Location”
Fantastic beachside location with all required amenities nearby. Clean, spacious, and very affordable rooms plus a nice pool to relax in on those hot May afternoons when the ocean is unbearably hot. Food mediocre but restaurant next door incredible. The staff were not overly friendly during our 8 night stay though, possibly because they could see us eating many meals next door. The one Laotian employee (Han?) was more than just unfriendly, but rather rude to me and my partner on many occasions. Not sure why but we ended up trying to avoid him as much as possible. If the staff cared more about their customers as they do in the neighbouring resorts, i would have easily given this resort a 9.5 out of 10.

Its an nice located Hotel, where many bars and services arround the Beach are available... The Breakfast was just a small plate with only one choosing of a small menue... The Staff at the reception is the opposite of the kitchens dissapointment, very helpfull and kind at all. But i think it could be worth. Anyway, the price was very okay at that nice location, with an definatley high standart room offering.

A Great Clean Comfy Beach Hotel”
Despite many of the horrible reviews on tripadvisor, my friend and I had a lovely 3 night stay here. The staff was friendly, the beach was beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfy, and the pool was refreshing. Yes, we are backpackers so it we luxury for us, but really... it had everything you needed. We ate at their restaurant every meal and it was so cute and lovely! A great environment! Couldn't have asked for more! P.S. Go to the first massage hut on the beach as you enter from the hotel (take a right) and ask for the back head and shoulder massage... and ask for Awana! She was AMAZING! Great relaxation if it rains!

Great place right on the beach”
service was great from the start, the room was a few metres from the pool, a few more to the bar and a couple to the beach - what more can you ask for. The food in the hotel was lovely although service a little slow - typical of thailand. but the beach and the surroundings were lovely! would love to go back year after year and for the money i would definately stay here again.
