"GOOD THINGS ABOUT SUNSET: 1. The fantastic location. It’s a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. 2. Peaceful location. Traffic was really light in the area, maybe because it’s not summer yet. 3. Convenience stores around! GS 25, Family Mart and 7-11 are almost in the same building. 4. KFC downstairs! 5. Magnificent views – beach view and the city’s as well. 6. Across Haeundae Market 7. Manager was helpful and very customer-centric. One of the best things about the hotel. Our Ondol room had things that need to be fixed and my birthday vacation was getting ruined. Until we talked to the manager and he decided to upgrade us to a one-bedroom standard double, with a beach and city view! I SOOOOOOOOOOO love the room. 8. Some of the staff members were really helpful – providing accurate directions, writing directions in Korean for the taxi driver, giving us Western pillows when our Korean pillow was uncomfortable, the cleaning lady waiting for us to leave just to fix our room. 9. Just a 10-min walk from Haeundae Station. 10. Easy to find from the Novotel, where the airport limo bus dropped us off (just cross from Novotel and walk towards the busy intersection to your left. When you see KFC, that’s the building!) 11. Shopping places close by 12. Close to numerous restaurants – Korean, Indian restaurant (Namaste), Western (TGI Friday’s), etc. 13. They were helpful in getting our stuffed toys dry cleaned and service was fast. 14. Staff printed my boarding pass (his last name is Park) without any charge! Very helpful! 15. Love the bathroom! It was immaculate. 16. Gigantic LCD TVs. THINGS THEY CAN IMPROVE ON: 1. Wi-Fi signal was weak in some areas. 2. Not enough cash at the front desk to exchange US$. 3. A hotel manual – like a booklet explaining everything about Sunset, like how to operate the heater (in the Ondol room), dry cleaning/laundry charges and turn-around time, places to go to etc) "

"Location : Haeundae is a quite far to the other Busan's neighborhood. From Haeundae to Busan central takes around 50 minutes to 1 hour. But if you really want to stay in Haeundae, this hotel location is excellent, it's near to the beach, market, bus station, subway station, surrounded with many restaurants and convenience store. Room : it is spacious, modern, complete with high tech toilet, lighting and air conditioning. 10/10. Amenities : this is the first hotel I've seen that did not provide toothbrush. On our 1st day, no mineral water provided, 2nd day they provide 2 600ml bottle, 3rd day they provide only 1. The room was booked for 2 person. Staff : if you've been to Japan or Thailand, do not expect same kind of hospitality from services in South Korea in general. Most of the time, the attitude of service industries workers like restaurant, hotel, customer service, etc, is only a fine thin line from being rude. Same thing apply to this hotel"

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Haeundae area. It's right behind the Grand Hotel and very close to the beach. The building is brand new, so everything felt clean and modern. There is a station where you can rinse off your feet when returning from the beach. I also enjoyed my free manicure. Overall an excellent stay!"
