One adult and one child stayed here with a teenager and it was really spacious with an amazing ocean view. We booked through Agoda for around 30 dollars per night during the holiday season, which was great. It's located on Haeundae Main Street and is very close to Haeundae Beach. We accidentally went to the beach when it was partially open and got soaked, but it was convenient to come back to the room and wash up. There was even a washing machine and microwave in the living room/kitchen area, and a super king bed in the bedroom, so our family of four slept comfortably. The ocean view from the living room, the city view from the bed, and the Gwangan Bridge view from the bedroom were all fantastic. I was worried because it's an older place, but it was well-maintained and clean. There were some complaints about the elevator, but it wasn't too inconvenient since I checked in and out alone and only had to switch elevators on the fourth floor. It wasn't too crowded, even though it was a holiday season. The parking lot goes down to the sixth floor, but we were able to park on the third floor even when we arrived at 8 pm. At first, we complained about the Grand Josun Hotel being right in front of us, but once we got to the room, we were amazed and really enjoyed our stay for two nights and three days.

I stayed for one night and two days with my friend, with mixed expectations due to many reviews expressing disappointment. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, which exceeded my expectations. The air conditioning and room cleaning were also excellent. Although the bathroom tiles were a bit old, the water pressure was good and the towels were clean, so I was satisfied. One hour before check-out, there was a situation where we had to evacuate due to a hotel basement fire. Instead of using the fire alarm, the hotel informed us to evacuate through the room phone, allowing many people to calmly and safely evacuate from the upper floors to the first floor without any major commotion. I am grateful for the hotel's response and their follow-up calls to check if we were okay. If there are no more fire incidents in the future, I would like to use this hotel again.

I went on a trip with my friends of 10 years for the first time in 10 years. Everyone is a housewife, so we couldn't go on a long trip and we were disappointed that it was only for one night and two days. However, we were amazed as soon as we entered the hotel! The view was better than most 5-star hotels, and it was a high-rise building on the 15th floor with an ocean view! It was even better than the pictures. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. If I had to point out a disadvantage, it would be that the elevator was confusing. I'm not good with directions, haha. Overall, it's a hotel without any flaws. You should bring your own amenities. We will definitely come back here next time!

Expectations not met. Front desk manned by old man who speaks zero English at night ”
We are a family of 4, with 2 girls (13 & 4 yrs of age) who travelled to Busan for 3D2N during our trip to Korea. We wanted a hotel that’s close to Haeundae beach and that is perhaps the only plus I will give the hotel, location. Other than that, I kept getting let down. To get to the lobby and our room is to complex. We had to take the lift from L1 to L4 (to change lift) and vice versa every time we want to enter or leave the building, from L4, we either take the lift to L6 (reception counter) or to L15 (our floor). It’s too much commute and the lift is small and shared with other guests. There are a few hotels in that one building. Next, the room - it’s big enough for us 4 but it feels like everything is being offered half way or just for the sake of offering it. There’s a kitchenette but no utensils, you’d have to rent it from the hotel at a cost. The washing machine is just a washer unit, not washer dryer. And the one in our room (1502) is spoiled. Our clothes were soaked for hours because the drum won’t spin. And this is where my frustration grew even more - we called the front desk and no one pick up. When my husband got there, there’s an old man manning the counter. He speak zero English and couldn’t attend to our request for a room change. He offered to do the laundry using the hotel’s washer and send it to our room after. Poor old man, there’s a long line of hotel guests at the counter. The hotel should never assign him to the front desk, at any time. Poor old man must be frustrated too. Terrible arrangement in my opinion.

The view was very nice from our spacious and clean room . Location is great , across the road from the beach and sealife aquarium ; on the main strip with lots of shops/ restaurants / alley to many streetfood vendors. 5 min walk to subway/ train (exit 3). Only thing was have to catch 2-3 elevators to get to room 😅 which takes some time if you’re a smoker or someone having to constantly go downstairs . Convenience store , money exchange , restaurants right outside of hotel . If you don’t mind taking a few elevators , great location and hotel. Would highly recommend as we had a great 2 night stay. Can ride bus to airport if needed - staff can give you timetable and map for directions.
