good for family and couple”
We stayed in the resort and our family stayed at the hotel. I think both are nice in a way but as a guest of the resort, we had to pay KRW10,000/person to use the hotel swimming pool as the resort pool was closed. The resort room was clean and spacious and bedding were very comfortable. Staffs were very helpful. We liked arcade that has got a small coin karaoke. We were able to buy reasonably good wine from the bar downstair with reasonable price although cafe at the hotel was very expensive. The surrounding neighbourhood is not very busy like Hamdeok beach, Jungmun or west side of Jeju but there were plenty of food options which was perfect for us as we wanted to relax. Although we hired a car and drove in Jeju but there was a shuttle bus available from the resort/hotel to the airport which might be helpful for the travellers without a car. I would like to stay at Haevichi when we come back to Jeju.

We stayed 2 nights at resort and used breakfast buffet and hotel sauna. The quality and service level was quite satisfied. If you choose the accommodation with family, it's the best option we can choose in Jeju.

We stayed in this hotel twice. It is a beautiful hotel with vast territory. One can enjoy swimming to pleasant music in indoor and outdoor swimming pool at the same time, the pools are connected. Outdoor swimming pool is open until 23 p.m. Buffet is delicious. Free airport pick up. Nice beach and traditional village are near.

Wonderful Stay”
The Haevichi is located on the south-eastern tip of Jeju-island, midway between Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seogwipo City along the coast. We stayed on the hotel annex (as opposed to the resort annex) of the property. The hotel compounds are beautifully designed and you have a lovely view of the ocean from most parts of the lobby. Our superior room was spacious, modern, tastefully furnished and very well maintained. Free Wifi is available within the room and most parts of the hotel. The bathroom is also very spacious and well designed. This is definitely one of the most luxurious and comfortable accommodations on Jeju-island. As some reviewers mentioned, the hotel is located on a relatively remote part of the island. The city of Seogwipo is a 30 mins drive away and Jeju city (and the airport) is about an hours drive away. However if you rented a car (as we did), it was no hassle at all. We wanted to see sunrise at Seongsan Ilchulbong and the hotel is a quick 20 min drive from the foot of the Ilchulbong. It is also a stop on the Olle Trail #4. In terms of dining options, the restaurant at the hotel lobby serves decent international fare and also offers a nice breakfast buffet spread. Outside the hotel, there is a bunch of restaurants within 5 min walk of the hotel, along the coastal roads. The small town of Pyoseon is a quick 3-5 min drive away, provides more dining options. You can also find a convenience store, a bakery (Paris Baguette) and some drinking/coffee places there. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here and will not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Jeju-do.

Excellent Hotel”
Stayed a few days at Haevichi. It is slightly tucked away but the distance wasn't really a problem for us. The room is very new and spacious. Very comfortable overall and amenities were similar to that of a business hotel. They had a special log cake for us when we checked in (it was near Christmas). The hotel itself is lovely as well. There is a convenience store, a entertainment centre (arcade games), a few restaurants and a spacious lobby area. The buffet at the main restaurant had a good spread whilst the Asian restaurant we tried was good as well. As it was winter, we were unable to stay at the outdoor compound for long but they seemed to have a nice outdoor pool with a nice big lawn. They also had an indoor pool and gym (both of which we didnt use but the pool and gym were popular with hotel guests during our stay there). It was very near the sea which I think should make it even nicer in the warmer seasons? It was also near and very walkable to a row of restaurants along the street if you do not want to eat at the restaurant. Overall, it is like a business hotel but set in Jeju - spacious, big, modern. It is not overrun with other guests which makes it pleasant as well. I hadnt really tried other Jeju hotels but Haevichi is nice enough that I would stay there again if I return to Jeju.

Great hotel in Jeju Island”
my wife and i enjoyed staying at haevichi hotel while traveling jeju in may 2012. the room was very spacious, clean, and nicely designed. we were at a high floor with a sea view and it was lovely. the breakfast buffet had a big selection of food - both western and korean. all staff that we met at the hotel were smiling and very friendly. however, the hotel is located in the eastern part of jeju island so the location could be inconvenient for tourists who plan on checking out tourist attractions in western part and joongmoon village in jeju island.

Luxury hotel with a cozy feel”
I went here with my wife on our honeymoon. First of all, I recommend renting a car, because the hotel is about a 90 minute drive from the airport. (The hotel also has a shuttle service from the airport) However, I think the remote location is what makes it stand out, as all of Jeju's other luxury hotels are located near or in Jeju City, which can feel rather crowded and busy. The Haevichi is located almost directly on the oceanfront. If you want luxury and 5-star amenities, while still maintaining a "retreat" feel, this hotel might suit you. The hotel's exterior, I must admit appears a bit mediocre compared to some of Jeju's other famous luxury hotels, such as the Silla. However, upon entering, the hotel is bright and modern with stone, steel and glass accents. There are also touches of greenery, which allude to Jeju's lush vegetation. The breakfast is person, but well worth it. You can choose from a variety of western, Korean and Japanese foods that will keep you full well through lunch time. Every hotel's desire is to have repeat customers, and my wife and I agreed upon checkout that this is the only hotel we will use for our future Jeju excursions.

Very comfortable, great pool, isolated location”
We stayed two of our four nights in Jeju at the Haevichi. Amazing pool, quiet location away from the throngs of tour buses, and a great view of a folk village with an ocean backdrop. Rooms were quiet even with a conference happening downstairs. We spent one whole afternoon of our trip just lounging by the pool, because it was so nice and peaceful. There were only a handful of families in the pool area, and most of them preferred the greenhouse-like indoor pool. My only complaint is that the restaurants are unfortunately grossly overpriced compared to quality. The burger's not bad, but it's not $24 good. The coffee is just fine, but it's not $15 fine. The only reason this matters is that there's not much else in the area worth eating, especially after 8 pm.

a very special modern design resort hotel”
I will stay at this resort hotel if I go to Jeju again. The senior staff is customer-oriented. The exterior and interior design is fantastic. The room is clean and tidy. The beddings and linens are comfortable. The amenities are of good brand. There are restaurants and convenience stores within the walking distance, which is good for late arrivals. The carpark is covered and linked to the rooms direct by lift, which is very convenient. The environment is nice and peaceful and quiet. A very nice hotel resort with reasonable price.

It is the second time to visit "Haevichi" and the holt has great facilities such as swimming pool,bar, business center. The price is more expensive than other hotels but it's valuable. staffs are so friendly and has a great view!

The perfect short stay”
I went for one night as a mid week get away just to relax from a hectic schedule. It was perfect, the bed was huge and so comfy I could have just stayed on it the whole time. But I went for a swim at the outdoor pool and it is slightly heated which was great as it fought back a bit of a stiff sea breeze. Also they have underwater speakers. So that was nice as I lay floating on my back. There is also an out door jacuzzi/bubble pool. Hot and lovely. I spoiled myself by indulging in the evening buffet restaurant. The food was incredibly well prepared. Tender meat, succlent veg and a wide variety of often hard to find foods on the island. It's one of the more expensive buffet's on the island but worth every penny without a doubt. In the morning I ordered room service breakfast and it was was quite prompt but definitely freshly made. I felt so relaxed after just less than 24 hours there. It's a steep price to pay for 24 hours, so not a regular thing but one I hope to repeat! Also I left my charger in the room and they shipped it out to me. It took a lot longer than they said (1 - 2 days turned into a week) but I still got it. And everyone I spoke to there were more than proficient in English, which is pretty rare on this island and nice bonus.

We were upgraded to a beach facing suite room. The hotel is much more beautiful than my expectation. Swimming pools and gym were very nice. buffet tbreakfast was great. Many restaurants though expensive. The staffs were very helpful and attentive to our needs. It is surely the best hotel on the eastern side of jeju-do.
