Staying in Kitakyushu for two nights before heading to Hakata. By chance, both Kitakyushu and Hakata were riverside hotels, and although the humidity was high, it was nice to be able to overlook the river. I haven't used Excel Tokyu much lately, although I have used it in places like Nagoya, so it was a rare opportunity to use it again. The front desk had two people, which was a bit surprising, but they input everything into a large display. The hotel had a stable and chic atmosphere. The room was also chic, and unlike other business hotels, it was not too small and had enough space to spread out suitcases, so I was comfortable on the first day. However, there were a lot of guests, and it was hard to get on the elevator. On the second day, when I headed to the morning buffet, the greetings from the passing cleaning staff were very lively, and I was in a good mood from the morning. I went out in the morning to finish work, and in the afternoon, I returned to the hotel and had several online meetings. I thought about going to "Yoshizuka Unagi," but there was a little trouble... I was worried, but when I contacted the front desk, they immediately came and checked the situation. They quickly assigned me a replacement room, and thanks to that, I was able to use it comfortably. I strangely understood that it was because of their judgment and speed that the hotel had a higher price setting than other business hotels... and at the same time, I felt the greatness of Excel Tokyu. From now on, when my business trip schedule is decided, I will first check if there is an Excel Tokyu in that area!

During my 3-night, 4-day trip, the location of the accommodation was very helpful for my free travel. It was great that I could walk to the major ramen restaurants, and Don Quijote was also within a 5-minute walk. I was able to visit Nakasu River's food stalls and Canal City on foot as well. I only used buses and subways to get to Dazaifu and Fukuoka Tower. If I come back again, I intend to visit again. The interior of the accommodation was just ordinary, but there were no problems during my stay, and there was a place to plug in 220v, which was convenient for charging my devices. Thank you.

I had a great time on this trip because the hotel is located very close to transportation and it's easy to grab a taxi. The best part is that it's near a supermarket and Donki Mall, which are just 150 meters away from the hotel. Service goes without saying, Japanese service is excellent. The staff are very polite and greet you upon entering and leaving the hotel. It's very clean, the rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, with enough room to open two large suitcases. The bathrooms are also spacious, with a bathtub, good water pressure, and easily adjustable hot water. The entire room is very clean, without any discomfort or signs of dirtiness. The housekeeping service is also very good, tidying up the room every day. The location is prime, less than two minutes to the subway, with a FamilyMart and Lawson nearby, and just 30 seconds further, there's a 7-11. It's very convenient to go anywhere, with plenty of 24-hour restaurants nearby, and Ichiran Ramen just across the street, less than a minute's walk away. Highly recommended.

It's hard to find a hotel with daily housekeeping at this price. My mom and I were overall satisfied with the room, as it was spacious enough to have two luggages open at the same time and still have room to walk around. This adequate space is rare in many hotel rooms in Japan. However, we dislike the fact that the corridor and the room were both quite dim. Some of the lights were broken in the room and can't be turned on. We opened the curtains in the morning so it was not too much of a problem. 8/10!
