Liked: (1) awesome hotel location, just right next to Hakata Station. (2) comfortable check out time (12noon) allowance. (3) in room air purifier machine provided is a thoughtful service. Disliked: (1) bathroom a bit smelly at first, but it was ok after exhaust fan is turn on.

Great hotel for transit”
We got a medium/suv type rental car and the height went above the restriction of parking (building 2 doesnt have any, parking for guests is shared with building no. 1) so we had to park closeby. Staff are welcoming and willing to help. They sorted out the 5am taxi reservation for us. The room is quite dated with very tiny shower room but we only stayed for 1 night so it wasn't a big deal. Alcohol sanitizers are provided throughout the reception area. Overall happy with the stay.

Just 2 minutes walk from Hakata station and taxi stand, 5 minutes walk from Hakata bus terminal and 2 FamilyMarts next to the hotel. We stayed in a Japanese-style room and it was clean and spacious enough for 5 of us with 2 big luggages and 3 carry-on bags. There were also vending machines and toilets in the common area on our floor which were very convenient. The receptionists were very polite and helpful. We also loved the restaurant downstairs, went there 2 nights in a row! A little note that the room key was still an actual key and the hotel provide only 1 key per room. So don't forget to drop it off at the reception before you leave each day. Would be awesome if they change to key cards and provide to all guests in the room. Other than that, we have no complaints. Would stay here again if we return to Fukuoka! Highly recommended!

Well located near Hakata station”
Hakata Green Hotel is perfect for someone who wants to base themselves in Fukuoka and make a day trip by train to attractions in other cities both in Kyushu and Western Honshu. The hotel is well-equipped. There is everything you need in the room, free wifi. However, the room is quite small and if you travel with big suitcases, there won't be much space left. The location of the hotel is excellent. Plenty of shops and restaurants around, just a stone throw away. Getting to/from the airport is also easy with frequent subways from Hakata station.

I like this hotel. Very recommended for all people traveling to Hakata area, Fukuoka. The hotel is very clean, great staff, value for money, a lot of features, breakfast with the Japanese style. Get a room in upper floor, because Hakata area is busiest area and u can hear train coming to the station. A few step to the Hakata station, and you can get plenty of shops and restaurant. There is a lot of restaurant, from Japanese to international, and fast food. Take your time to explore the underground area, you will find interesting shop for gift. Take subway or walk to Gion area, there is culture and history of Fukuoka.

Location, location, location !”
I stayed in Hakata Green 2 for 4 nights. I chose it because of the close proximity to Hakata JR, subway and bus terminus. Of course, location is its strength. Staff are willing to communicate in English though not all are proficient in doing so. They were all willing to help immediately after I stood over the proximity of their counter. Internal decoration a bit old fashioned (20 years) ago but are all decently clean. Interior of room (single) is neat, no extra stuff. The view outside hotel is marvellous (11/F). Neat and tidy making of bed and bathroom everyday. Fast and reliable WiFi inside room with password protection. Very narrow walkway inside room, small bathtub (~2 by 4 ft), single pillow, weak air-condition (33 deg C outside in July), complimentary green tea bags but not coffee are some drawbacks. Overall speaking, for around 6,600 Yen (tax included) per night is a value-for-money choice if you want to lodge in a extremely convenient location and have access to major lines of transportation, JR, subways, bus terminus, and have a extremely good choice of shopping and eating places just in Hakata Station. Worth staying in Green 2.

Very convenient hotel”
This hotel located very close to hakata JR station, it took just around 10mins transport time from airport station to hakata station. Since hakata station is a major station in fukuoka, it is very easy to go anywhere in fukuoka. Free wifi in room and the network is not bad. Room is clean but very small(which is like most of the other japanese hotel rooms). Lighting inside the room is not good, it's too dim inside room. Next to hotel, there are convenient stores, different restaurants and several shopping malls. Price is very resonable. Provide microwave machine, washing machine and computer. Staff is good at English. Check in and check out processed efficiently.

We were impressed with the service provided by all the staffs at the Hakata green hotel and won't hesitate to return. We enjoy staying at Hakata green hotel as can depend on a beautiful location, it very close to the Jr station and shopping area. Also there are many restaurants surrounding the hotel. We had a lovely relaxing stay. We couldn't have asked for more.

Great hub for our travels in Kyushu”
My overall rating for our stay at Hakata Green 2 (5 nights of our 10 day vacation in the Kyushu area) is an 8. They accommodated us by holding our main luggage until we returned from trips to other cities. It's about as close you can get to Hakata Station, so walking to the Station with luggage was no problem. We did experience some minor communication difficulties. The "triple" rooms were a bit too small for comfort, but shouldn't be a complaint for the price paid.

when you arrive in hakata by train or highway bus, hakata green hotel is very easy to find. just leave by the bullet train exit, chikushi guchi, and cross the road, there it is! the service was fine, staff help with directions, and english is no problem. you can ask for a wake-up call, and you can pay extra for breakfast (about 800 yen).

So conveniently close to Hakata Train Station, (1 short block away). Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful front desk. Unless you're one of those travelers that has to have a massive room, or 2 very large people that might be a tight fit on the bed, the room was very adequate. We will be staying there every time we have to fly out of Fukuoka

Good value, great staff, great location.”
We chose the hotel because it was good value and located very close to Hakata Station. The rooms were small and quite basic, but comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient at check-in, and when it transpired that one of our party had left her jewelry bag in her room, were incredibly helpful in getting her items back for her. It's by no means a luxury hotel but it's a great place for tourists or business travellers wanting to experience Fukuoka nightlife and stay close to transport links.
