"9hrs is on the level B1 of Riverain shopping mall. Opposite the mall is a supermarket that offers the cheapest foods, fruits and drinks in the area. Also opposite it is a shopping arcade which leads straight to Canal City, a very popular shopping mall. The location is almost perfect except that it’s a bit too far to walk to Hakata station. The hotel has a small sitting area in the reception hall, that’s where you can eat and buy water/tea. Then you’ll enter locker area, and then sleeping area. Upon checking in you’ll get big and small towels, night-wears, slippers and a toothbrushing kit - you won’t need to open your luggage. The sleeping pod is big compared to many capsule places, and quite sound-proofed to me. Pillow is a bit hard. Anyway, I got a very good price this time, about 2/3 the price I got in Sendai two years ago. Otherwise I may have gone to normal hostels where I can use washing machines and refrigerators."

"I stayed here for 2 nights and i will really recommend this to all the travellers going to Hakata. It is very easy to find, just 5 minutes walk from Nakasu kawabata Station. The place is clean and towel were provided daily. Just be aware that the free breakfast is just a choice of tetra pack juice or milk and a bun. The toilet is also very clean and theres a separate one for women, men, and also a separate one for men/women - meaning there are 3 toilets in each floor. Though the shower room is located in the 2nd flr, it doesnt matter anyway, as it is also very clean and toiletries and hairdryers are provided. They also have a lounge in the 9th floor where you can cook, dine, read books, watch tv, and meet new friends. The big cat in front is so nice for picture taking. The place is just blocks away (you can walk your way)from Kawabata Shopping Arcade, Hakata Riverain Mall, Don Quijote, Ichiran, and Canal City. Will recommend this to my friends and ill definitely book here again."
